ツロの君主についての預言
28 また、次のような主のことばが示されました。
2-3 「人の子よ、ツロの君主に言いなさい。」
神である主はこう語ります。
「おまえは身のほどをわきまえず、
自分を神にしてしまうほど思い上がり、
大海に浮かぶ島で神の座についている。
だが、いくら神のようにふるまっても、
おまえは人であって神ではない。
確かに、おまえはダニエルよりも賢く、
どんな秘密もおまえには筒抜けだ。
4 その知恵と知識を駆使して、
おまえは金、銀、財宝を手に入れ、大きな富を築いた。
5 そう、おまえの知恵がおまえを大金持ちにし、
高慢にしたのだ。」
6 それゆえ、神である主はこう語ります。
「おまえは、自分が神のように賢いと言っている。
7 それで、諸国に恐れられている敵の大軍が、
知恵を自慢しているおまえに向かって剣を抜き、
その栄華を汚す。
8 海の真ん中の島で、おまえを地獄の穴へ突き落とし、
剣で八つ裂きにする。
9 それでも、自分は神だと言うのか。
侵略者たちにとっては、
おまえは神ではなく、ただの人間だ。
10 おまえは外国人の手で、
まるでごみ屑のように、
無造作に殺される。」
わたしがこう言うと、神である主は語ります。
11 また、次のような主のことばがありました。 12 「人の子よ、ツロの王のために泣け。
神、主はこう語る、と告げよ。
おまえは知恵に満ち、美を極めていた。
13 おまえは神の園、エデンのような所にいて、
その服には、最高級の金の台に、ルビー、トパーズ、
ダイヤモンド、かんらん石、しまめのう、碧玉、
サファイヤ、紅玉、エメラルドなど
あらゆる種類の宝石をはめ込んだ飾りをつけていた。
みな、おまえが王となった日に贈られた物だ。
14 わたしはおまえを、
油注がれた守護者ケルブに任命した。
おまえは神の聖なる山に近づき、
火の石の間を歩いていた。
15 王となってから、不正が見つかる時まで、
おまえがやったことはみな完璧だった。
16 しかし、莫大な富に目がくらんで、
おまえは罪を犯したのだ。
そこでわたしは、普通の罪人と同じように、
おまえを神の山から追い出した。
ああ、すぐれたケルブよ。
わたしはおまえを火の石の間から消滅させた。
17 おまえは自分の美しさを鼻にかけ、思い上がっていた。
栄華のために、自分の知恵を台なしにしてしまった。
それゆえ、おまえを地面にたたき伏せ、
何事が起こったのかと好奇の目をみはる王たちの前に、
おまえの無力さを見せつけたのだ。
18 おまえは不正な商いをして自分を汚した。
それゆえ、おまえ自身の所業から火を引き出し、
みんなが見ている前でおまえを焼き、
地上の灰としたのだ。
19 おまえを知っていた者はみな、
その恐ろしい運命に背筋を凍らせる。
おまえは見せしめとして、永久に滅ぼされるのだ。」
シドンについての預言
20 次のようなことばもありました。
21 「人の子よ、シドンの町にこう預言せよ。」
22 神である主がこう語ります。
「シドンよ。わたしはおまえの敵となり、
わたしの力を現そう。
おまえを滅ぼして、わたしのきよさが示されるとき、
それを見る者はみな、わたしが主であることを知る。
23 疫病をはやらせ、兵を送って滅ぼす。
傷ついた者たちは町の通りで、
四方から攻め寄せる敵兵に殺される。
その時、おまえはわたしが主であることを知る。
24 おまえも、他のイスラエルの近隣の国々も、かつてはイスラエルをさげすみ、邪険にしてきたのだが、これからはもう、いばらやとげのようにイスラエルを突き刺したり、引き裂いたりしなくなる。
25 イスラエルの民は、わたしがその先祖ヤコブに与えた地に再び住むようになる。散らしておいた遠くの国々から、わたしがもう一度、彼らを集めるからだ。こうしてわたしは、国々にわたしのきよさを示す。 26 彼らはイスラエルに安らかに住み、家を建て、ぶどう畑を作る。こうしてイスラエルをさげすんだ回りの国々がみな罰せられるとき、彼らは、わたしが彼らの神、主であることを知る。」

Profecía contra el rey de Tiro
28 La palabra del Señor vino a mí y me dijo: 2 «Hijo de hombre, adviértele al rey de Tiro que así dice el Señor y Dios:
»“Tu corazón se llenó de arrogancia y dijiste:
‘Yo soy un dios.
Me encuentro en el corazón de los mares
sentado en el trono de un dios’.
¡Pero tú eres un simple mortal, no un dios,
aunque crees ser tan sabio como un dios!
3 ¿Acaso eres más sabio que Daniel?[a]
¿Acaso conoces todos los secretos?
4 Con tu sabiduría y tu inteligencia
has acumulado muchas riquezas
y en tus cofres has amontonado
oro y plata.
5 Eres muy hábil para el comercio;
por eso te has hecho muy rico.
Con tus grandes riquezas
tu corazón se llenó de arrogancia.
6 »”Por eso, así dice el Señor y Dios:
»”Ya que pretendes ser
tan sabio como un dios,
7 haré que vengan extranjeros contra ti,
los más feroces de las naciones:
desenvainarán la espada contra tu hermosura y sabiduría,
y profanarán tu esplendor.
8 Te hundirán en la fosa
y sufrirás una muerte violenta
en el corazón de los mares.
9 Aun así, en presencia de tus verdugos,
¿te atreverás a decir: Soy un dios?
¡Pues en manos de tus asesinos
no serás un dios, sino un simple mortal!
10 Sufrirás a manos de extranjeros
la muerte de los incircuncisos,
porque yo lo he dicho,
afirma el Señor y Dios”».
11 La palabra del Señor vino a mí y me dijo: 12 «Hijo de hombre, entona un lamento al rey de Tiro y adviértele que así dice el Señor y Dios:
»“Eras un modelo de perfección,
lleno de sabiduría y de hermosura perfecta.
13 Estabas en Edén,
en el jardín de Dios,
adornado con toda clase de piedras preciosas:
rubí, crisólito, jade,
topacio, ónice, jaspe,
zafiro, turquesa y esmeralda.[b]
Tus joyas y encajes estaban cubiertos de oro,
especialmente preparados para ti el día en que fuiste creado.
14 Fuiste ungido querubín protector,
porque yo así lo dispuse.[c]
Estabas en el santo monte de Dios
y caminabas sobre piedras de fuego.
15 Fuiste irreprochable en tus caminos,
desde el día en que fuiste creado
hasta que se encontró maldad en ti.
16 Por la abundancia de tu comercio,
te llenaste de violencia y pecaste.
Por eso te expulsé del monte de Dios,
como a un objeto profano.
A ti, querubín protector,
te eliminé de entre las piedras de fuego.
17 A causa de tu hermosura
tu corazón se llenó de orgullo.
A causa de tu esplendor,
corrompiste tu sabiduría.
Por eso te arrojé por tierra
y delante de los reyes te expuse al ridículo.
18 Has profanado tus santuarios
por la gran cantidad de tus pecados,
¡por tu comercio corrupto!
Por eso hice salir de ti
un fuego que te devorara.
A la vista de todos los que te admiran
te eché por tierra y te reduje a cenizas.
19 Al verte, han quedado espantadas
todas las naciones que te conocen.
Has llegado a un final terrible
y ya no volverás a existir”».
Profecía contra Sidón
20 La palabra del Señor vino a mí y me dijo: 21 «Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro contra Sidón y profetiza contra ella. 22 Adviértele que así dice el Señor y Dios:
»“Yo estoy en contra tuya, Sidón,
y manifestaré mi gloria en ti.
Cuando te traiga un justo castigo
y manifieste sobre ti mi santidad,
se sabrá que yo soy el Señor.
23 Mandaré en tu contra una plaga
y por tus calles correrá la sangre.
Por la espada que ataca por todos lados
los heridos caerán en tus calles,
¡y se sabrá que yo soy el Señor!
24 »”Los israelitas no volverán a sufrir el desprecio de sus vecinos, que duele como aguijones y punza como espinas, y se sabrá que yo soy el Señor”.
25 »Así dice el Señor y Dios: “Cuando yo reúna al pueblo de Israel de entre las naciones donde se encuentra disperso, le mostraré mi santidad en presencia de todas las naciones. Entonces Israel vivirá en su propio país, el mismo que di a mi siervo Jacob. 26 Allí vivirán seguros, construirán sus casas y plantarán viñedos, porque yo ejecutaré un justo castigo sobre los vecinos que desprecian al pueblo de Israel. ¡Y se sabrá que yo soy el Señor su Dios!”».

A Prophecy Against the King of Tyre
28 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man(A), say to the ruler of Tyre, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘In the pride of your heart
you say, “I am a god;
I sit on the throne(B) of a god
in the heart of the seas.”(C)
But you are a mere mortal and not a god,
though you think you are as wise as a god.(D)
3 Are you wiser than Daniel[a]?(E)
Is no secret hidden from you?
4 By your wisdom and understanding
you have gained wealth for yourself
and amassed gold and silver
in your treasuries.(F)
5 By your great skill in trading(G)
you have increased your wealth,(H)
and because of your wealth
your heart has grown proud.(I)
6 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘Because you think you are wise,
as wise as a god,
7 I am going to bring foreigners against you,
the most ruthless of nations;(J)
they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom(K)
and pierce your shining splendor.(L)
8 They will bring you down to the pit,(M)
and you will die a violent death(N)
in the heart of the seas.(O)
9 Will you then say, “I am a god,”
in the presence of those who kill you?
You will be but a mortal, not a god,(P)
in the hands of those who slay you.(Q)
10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised(R)
at the hands of foreigners.
I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”
11 The word of the Lord came to me: 12 “Son of man, take up a lament(S) concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘You were the seal of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.(T)
13 You were in Eden,(U)
the garden of God;(V)
every precious stone(W) adorned you:
carnelian, chrysolite and emerald,
topaz, onyx and jasper,
lapis lazuli, turquoise(X) and beryl.[b]
Your settings and mountings[c] were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.(Y)
14 You were anointed(Z) as a guardian cherub,(AA)
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,(AB)
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, guardian cherub,(AC)
from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud(AD)
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.(AE)
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade
you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire(AF) come out from you,
and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes(AG) on the ground
in the sight of all who were watching.(AH)
19 All the nations who knew you
are appalled(AI) at you;
you have come to a horrible end
and will be no more.(AJ)’”
A Prophecy Against Sidon
20 The word of the Lord came to me: 21 “Son of man, set your face against(AK) Sidon;(AL) prophesy against her 22 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘I am against you, Sidon,
and among you I will display my glory.(AM)
You will know that I am the Lord,
when I inflict punishment(AN) on you
and within you am proved to be holy.(AO)
23 I will send a plague upon you
and make blood flow in your streets.
The slain will fall within you,
with the sword against you on every side.
Then you will know that I am the Lord.(AP)
24 “‘No longer will the people of Israel have malicious neighbors who are painful briers and sharp thorns.(AQ) Then they will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.
25 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When I gather(AR) the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered,(AS) I will be proved holy(AT) through them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.(AU) 26 They will live there in safety(AV) and will build houses and plant(AW) vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment(AX) on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.(AY)’”

2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
6 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.
11 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
20 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,
22 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord God.
25 Thus saith the Lord God; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.
