ஆலயத்திற்குப் போகும்போது பாடும் பாடல்
125 கர்த்தருக்குள் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறவர்கள் சீயோன் மலையைப் போன்றிருப்பார்கள்.
அவர்கள் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
அவர்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பார்கள்.
2 எருசலேமைச் சுற்றிலும் மலைகள் உள்ளது போல, கர்த்தர் அவரது ஜனங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிறார்.
என்றென்றைக்கும் எப்போதும் அவர் தமது ஜனங்களைக் காப்பார்.
3 நல்ல ஜனங்களின் நாட்டைக் கொடிய ஜனங்கள் நிரந்தரமாக ஆளப்போவதில்லை.
அவ்வாறு நிகழ்ந்தால் நல்லோரும் கூட தீய காரியங்களைச் செய்ய ஆரம்பிப்பார்கள்.
4 கர்த்தாவே, நல்லோருக்கு நல்லவராக இரும்.
பரிசுத்த இருதயம் உள்ளோரிடம் நல்லவராக இரும்.
5 கொடிய ஜனங்கள் தவறான காரியங்களைச் செய்கிறார்கள்.
அக்கொடியோரை கர்த்தர் தண்டிப்பார்.
இஸ்ரவேலில் சமாதானம் நிலவட்டும்!

Psalm 125
A song of ascents.
1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,(A)
which cannot be shaken(B) but endures forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,(C)
so the Lord surrounds(D) his people
both now and forevermore.
3 The scepter(E) of the wicked will not remain(F)
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.(G)
4 Lord, do good(H) to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.(I)
5 But those who turn(J) to crooked ways(K)
the Lord will banish(L) with the evildoers.
