ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਨਣਗੇ
65 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਲਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਾਂ! ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਾਂ!’
2 “ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਆਉਣ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਿਹ੍ਹੜਾ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। 3 ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬਾਗਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਧੂਫ਼ਾਂ ਬੁਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। 4 ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਬੈਠਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਵੀ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸੂਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਛੁਰੀ ਕਾਂਟੇ ਸੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। 5 ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ‘ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਾ ਆਉਣਾ! ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਹਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ!’ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੂਏਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਲਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ
6 “ਦੇਖੋ, ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਿੱਲ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਬਿੱਲ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਲਈ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਬਿੱਲ ਅਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਬਿੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। 7 ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਹਨ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੂਫ਼ਾਂ ਧੁਖਾਈਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਪਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਜਿਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਨ।”
8 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਲੋਕ ਨਚੋੜ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਕੱਢ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। 9 ਮੈਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ (ਇਸਰਾਏਲ) ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਬੰਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। 10 ਫੇਰ ਸ਼ਾਰੋਨ ਵਾਦੀ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਚਾਰਗਾਹ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਆਕੋਰ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
11 “ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਝੂਠੀ ਦੇਵੀ, ਹੋਣੀ, ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। 12 ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਾਟ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ! ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਓਹੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਮੰਦਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।”
13 ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਿਕ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ,
“ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਖਾਣਗੇ
ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ, ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਪੀਣਗੇ,
ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ, ਪਿਆਸੇ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ,
ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ, ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ।
14 ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ
ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ, ਰੋਵੋਗੇ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਨਾਲ।
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੌਸਲੇ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਣਗੇ
ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ।
15 ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਮ ਮੰਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।”
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਦੇਗਾ।
16 ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਉਹ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਮੰਗਣਗੇ।
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕੀ ਹੁਣ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੌਹਾਂ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਉਹ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੌਹਾਂ ਖਾਣਗੇ।
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਤੀਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।”
ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ
17 “ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਾਜਾਂਗਾ।
ਲੋਕੀ ਅਤੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
18 ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਉਹ ਸਦਾ-ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਉਣਗੇ।
ਕਿਉਂ? ਉਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਜਾਂਗਾ।
ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ
ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਲੋਕ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
19 “ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਰੋਣਾ
ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
20 ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੱਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ,
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ।
ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇਗਾ।
ਹਰ ਬੱਚਾ ਲੰਮੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਬੁਢ੍ਢਾ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ।
ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ 100 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ, ਜਵਾਨ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੋਚਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ 100 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ, ਉਹ ਸਰਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
21 “ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੰਦਰ, ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਘਰ ਉਸਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਗ਼ ਲਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਬਾਗ਼ ਦੇ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ।
22 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਕਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਸਾਰੇਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬਾਗ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਲ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਖਾਵੇ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਉਮਰ ਜਿਉਣਗੇ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਬਨਾਉਣਗੇ।
23 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਂਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਜੰਮਣ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ,
ਔਰਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੁਭਾਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
24 ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।
ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
25 ਬਘਿਆੜ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਲਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

65 耶和華說：「我向沒有求問我的人顯現，
讓沒有尋找我的人尋見，
對沒有求告我的國家說，
『我在這裡，我在這裡！』
2 我整天伸出雙手招呼一群悖逆的百姓，
他們卻任意妄為，
不走正路，
3 不斷地當面惹我發怒。
他們在園中獻祭，
在磚臺上燒香，
4 坐在墳場裡，
宿在隱秘處。
他們吃豬肉，
用不潔之物做湯，
5 還對人說，『站遠點，
別挨近我，因為我比你聖潔！』
我被這些人氣得鼻孔冒煙，
整天怒火難息。
6 看啊，這些都記錄在我面前，
我不會再保持緘默，
我要報應他們，
7 按他們和他們祖先的罪報應他們。
我必按他們的所作所為報應他們，
因為他們在山上燒香，
在丘陵上褻瀆我。
這是耶和華說的。」
8 耶和華說：「人發現一串葡萄尚可釀造新酒時，
一定會說，『不要毀壞它，
裡面還有好葡萄。』

我也不會把他們全部毀滅。
9 「我必使雅各的後裔興起，
使猶大人興起，
繼承我的群山。
我揀選的子民必擁有那片土地，
我的僕人必在那裡安居。
10 沙崙必成為牧放羊群的草場，
亞割谷必成為牛群休憩的地方，
這些地方必屬於尋求我的人。

你們卻要傷心欲絕，
嚎啕大哭。
15 我的選民必用你們的名字作咒詛，
主耶和華必殺死你們，
給祂的僕人另起名字。
16 因此，在地上求福祉的人都必向信實的上帝祈求，
在地上起誓的人都必憑信實的上帝起誓。
因為過去的苦難已經被遺忘，
從我眼前消失了。
新天新地
17 「看啊，我要創造新天新地，
過去的一切都要被遺忘，
從記憶中消失。
18 你們要因我創造的一切而永遠歡喜快樂。
看啊，我要創造一個充滿喜樂的耶路撒冷，
其中的居民個個歡欣。
19 我必因耶路撒冷而歡喜，
因我的子民而快樂。
城裡再聽不見哭泣和哀號聲。
20 再沒有只活幾天便夭折的嬰兒，
也沒有壽數未盡便死的老人，
因為滿了百歲便死的人不過算是青年，
不足百歲便死的人被視為受了咒詛。
21 他們要建造房屋，安然居住，
栽種葡萄園，吃園中的果子。
22 他們建的房屋再不會被別人居住，
他們種的果實再不會被別人享用。
我的子民必像樹木一樣長壽，
我揀選的人必長享自己親手勞碌的成果。
23 他們不會徒勞，
他們的孩子也不會遇到災禍，

65 The Lord says, People[a] who never before inquired about me are now seeking me out. Nations who never before searched for me are finding me.
2 But my own people—though I have been spreading out my arms to welcome them all day long—have rebelled; they follow their own evil paths and thoughts. 3 All day long they insult me to my face by worshiping idols in many gardens and burning incense on the rooftops of their homes. 4 At night they go out among the graves and caves to worship evil spirits, and they eat pork and other forbidden foods. 5 Yet they say to one another, “Don’t come too close, you’ll defile me! For I am holier than you!” They stifle me. Day in and day out they infuriate me.
6 See, here is my decree all written out before me: I will not stand silent; I will repay. Yes, I will repay them— 7 not only for their own sins but for those of their fathers too, says the Lord, for they also burned incense on the mountains and insulted me upon the hills. I will pay them back in full.
8 But I will not destroy them all, says the Lord; for just as good grapes are found among a cluster of bad ones (and someone will say, “Don’t throw them all away—there are some good grapes there!”) so I will not destroy all Israel, for I have true servants there. 9 I will preserve a remnant of my people to possess the land of Israel; those I select will inherit it and serve me there. 10 As for my people who have sought me, the plains of Sharon shall again be filled with flocks, and the valley of Achor shall be a place to pasture herds.
11 But because the rest of you have forsaken the Lord and his Temple and worship gods of “Fate” and “Destiny,” 12 therefore I will “destine” you to the sword, and your “fate” shall be a dark one; for when I called, you didn’t answer; when I spoke, you wouldn’t listen. You deliberately sinned before my very eyes, choosing to do what you know I despise.
13 Therefore, the Lord God says: You shall starve, but my servants shall eat; you shall be thirsty while they drink; you shall be sad and ashamed, but they shall rejoice. 14 You shall cry in sorrow and vexation and despair, while they sing for joy. 15 Your name shall be a curse word among my people, for the Lord God will slay you and call his true servants by another name.[b]
16 And yet, the days will come[c] when all who invoke a blessing or take an oath shall swear by the God of Truth; for I will put aside my anger and forget the evil that you did. 17 For see, I am creating new heavens and a new earth—so wonderful that no one will even think about the old ones anymore. 18 Be glad; rejoice forever in my creation. Look! I will re-create Jerusalem as a place of happiness, and her people shall be a joy! 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem and in my people; and the voice of weeping and crying shall not be heard there anymore.
20 No longer will babies die when only a few days old; no longer will men be considered old at 100! Only sinners will die that young! 21-22 In those days, when a man builds a house, he will keep on living in it—it will not be destroyed by invading armies as in the past. My people will plant vineyards and eat the fruit themselves—their enemies will not confiscate it. For my people will live as long as trees and will long enjoy their hard-won gains. 23 Their harvests will not be eaten by their enemies; their children will not be born to be cannon fodder. For they are the children of those the Lord has blessed; and their children, too, shall be blessed. 24 I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers! 25 The wolf and lamb shall feed together, the lion shall eat straw as the ox does, and poisonous snakes shall strike no more![d] In those days nothing and no one shall be hurt or destroyed in all my holy mountain, says the Lord.
