प्रमुख गायकासाठी दावीदाचे स्तोत्र.
20 जेव्हा तुम्ही संकटात असाल तेव्हा परमेश्वर तुमच्या हाकेला धावून
येवो याकोबाचा देव तुमच्या नावाला महत्व प्राप्त करुन देवो.
2 देव त्याच्या पवित्र स्थानातून तुम्हाला मदत पाठवो.
तो तुम्हाला सियोनातून साहाय्य करो.
3 तुम्ही देवाला जे जे होमबली अर्पण केले
त्याची त्याला आठवण राहो तुमचे सर्व त्याग तो स्वीकारो.
4 तुम्हाला जे काही हवे ते देव तुम्हाला देवो.
तुमच्या सगळ्या योजना तो प्रत्यक्षात आणो.
5 देव तुम्हाला मदत करेल तेव्हा आम्हाला आनंद होईल.
देवाच्या नावाचा जयजयकार करु या तुम्ही परमेश्वराला जे जे काही मागाल
ते सर्व तो तुम्हाला देवो अशी मी आशा करतो.
6 परमेश्वर त्याने निवडलेल्या राजाला मदत करतो हे आता मला कळले.
देव त्याच्या पवित्र स्वर्गात होता आणि त्याने स्वत:च निवडलेल्या राजाला उत्तर दिले.
देवाने आपल्या महान सामर्थ्याचा राजाला वाचवण्यासाठी उपयोग केला.

Psalm 20[a]
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;(A)
may the name of the God of Jacob(B) protect you.(C)
2 May he send you help(D) from the sanctuary(E)
and grant you support(F) from Zion.(G)
3 May he remember(H) all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b](I)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart(J)
and make all your plans succeed.(K)
5 May we shout for joy(L) over your victory
and lift up our banners(M) in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.(N)
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(O)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(P)
7 Some trust in chariots(Q) and some in horses,(R)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(S)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,(T)
but we rise up(U) and stand firm.(V)
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us(W) when we call!

20 May the Lord (A)answer you in the day of trouble!
May (B)the name of the God of Jacob (C)protect you!
2 May he send you help from (D)the sanctuary
and give you support from (E)Zion!
3 May he (F)remember all your offerings
and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! Selah
4 May he (G)grant you your heart's desire
and fulfill all your plans!
5 May we shout for joy over (H)your salvation,
and in the name of our God set up our (I)banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions!
6 Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed;
he will answer him from his holy heaven
with (J)the saving might of his right hand.
7 Some trust in (K)chariots and some in (L)horses,
(M)but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They collapse and fall,
but we rise and stand upright.
