दावीदाचे स्तोत्र.
138 देवा, मी अगदी मनापासून तुझी स्तुती करतो.
मी सर्व देवांसमोर तुझे गाणे गाईन.
2 देवा, मी तुझ्या पवित्र मंदिरासमोर नतमस्तक होतो.
मी तुझ्या नावाची, तुझ्या खऱ्या प्रेमाची आणि तुझ्या इमानदारीची स्तुती करतो.
तू तुझ्या शब्द सामर्थ्याबद्दल प्रसिध्द आहेस.
आता तर तू ते अधिकच वाढवले आहेस.
3 देवा, मी तुला मदतीसाठी हाक मारली
आणि तू मला होकार दिलीस.
तू मला शक्ती दिलीस.
4 परमेश्वरा, पृथ्वीवरचे सर्व राजे तुझे बोलणे ऐकतील
तेव्हा ते तुझी स्तुती करतील.
5 ते परमेश्वराच्या पध्दतीचे गुणगान करतील
कारण परमेश्वराची महिमा अगाध आहे.
6 देव फार म्हत्वाचा आहे पण तो दुबळ्यालोकांचा कैवारी आहे
गर्विष्ठ लोक काय करतात ते देवाला माहीत आहे
परंतु तो त्यांच्यापासून दूर राहातो.
7 देवा, मी जर संकटात सापडलो तर मला जिवंत ठेव.
जर माझे शत्रू माझ्यावर रागावले तर त्यांच्यापासून माझे रक्षण कर.
8 परमेश्वरा, तू कबूल केलेल्या वस्तू मला दे.
परमेश्वरा, तुझे खरे प्रेम सदैव असते.
परमेश्वरा, तू आमची निर्मिती केलीस, आता आम्हाला सोडू नकोस.
Psalm 138
King James Version
138 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.
6 Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

138 I will praise You with my whole heart;
(A)Before the gods I will sing praises to You.
2 (B)I will worship (C)toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have (D)magnified Your word above all Your name.
3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me,
And made me bold with strength in my soul.
4 (E)All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O Lord,
When they hear the words of Your mouth.
5 Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord,
For great is the glory of the Lord.
6 (F)Though the Lord is on high,
Yet (G)He regards the lowly;
But the proud He knows from afar.
7 (H)Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
You will stretch out Your hand
Against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me.
8 (I)The Lord will [a]perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
(J)Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
