پێدانی چەند شارۆچکەیەک بە لێڤییەکان
21 ئەوە بوو گەورەی بنەماڵەکانی لێڤییەکان هاتنە لای ئەلعازاری کاهین و یەشوعی کوڕی نون و گەورەی بنەماڵەکانی هۆزەکانی دیکەی نەوەی ئیسرائیل، 2 لە شیلۆ لە خاکی کەنعان لەگەڵیاندا دوان و گوتیان: «یەزدان لە ڕێگەی موساوە فەرمانی داوە کە چەند شارۆچکەیەکمان پێبدرێت بۆ نیشتەجێبوون لەگەڵ لەوەڕگاکانیان بۆ ئاژەڵی ماڵیمان.» 3 بەپێی فەرمانی یەزدان نەوەی ئیسرائیلیش لە میراتەکەی خۆیان ئەم شارۆچکانە و لەوەڕگایانەیان دایە لێڤییەکان:
4 جا تیروپشک بۆ خێڵەکانی قەهاتییەکان کرا، لێڤییەکان کە لە نەوەی هارونی کاهین بوون بە تیروپشک سێزدە شارۆچکەیان بەرکەوت لە هۆزی یەهودا و هۆزی شیمۆن و هۆزی بنیامین. 5 بۆ پاشماوەی نەوەی قەهاتیش دە شارۆچکە بە تیروپشک لە خێڵەکانی هۆزی ئەفرایم و هۆزی دان و نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشەیان بەرکەوت.
6 بۆ نەوەی گێرشۆنیش سێزدە شارۆچکەیان بە تیروپشک بەرکەوت، لە خێڵەکانی هۆزی یەساخار و هۆزی ئاشێر و هۆزی نەفتالی و نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشە لە باشان.
7 بۆ نەوەی مەراریش بەگوێرەی خێڵەکانیان دوازدە شارۆچکەیان بەرکەوت، لە هۆزی ڕەئوبێن و گاد و زەبولون.
8 جا نەوەی ئیسرائیل بە تیروپشک ئەم شارۆچکە و لەوەڕگایانەیان بە لێڤییەکان دا، هەروەک یەزدان لە ڕێگەی موساوە فەرمانی دابوو.
9 لە هۆزی نەوەی یەهودا و هۆزی نەوەی شیمۆن ئەم شارۆچکانەیان دا کە ئەمانە ناوەکانیان بوون، 10 جا ئەم شارۆچکانە بۆ نەوەی هارون دیاری کرا لە خێڵەکانی قەهاتییەکان لە نەوەی لێڤی، چونکە تیروپشکی یەکەم بۆ ئەوان بوو:
11 قیریەت ئەربەع باپیرە گەورەی عەناق کە حەبرۆنە لە ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی یەهودا لەگەڵ لەوەڕگاکانی دەوروبەری، 12 بەڵام کێڵگەکان و گوندەکانی دەوروبەری شارەکەیان بە کالێبی کوڕی یەفونە دا وەک موڵکی خۆی.
13 بە نەوەی هارونی کاهین حەبرۆن و لەوەڕگاکانیان دا، کە شارێکی پەناگای تۆمەتبارکراوان بە کوشتن بوو، لەگەڵ لیڤنا، 14 یەتیر، ئەشتەمۆع، 15 حۆلۆن، دەڤیر، 16 عەین، یوتا و بێت‌شەمەش، نۆ شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە لەم دوو هۆزە[a].
17 لە هۆزی بنیامینیش گبعۆن و گەڤەع و 18 عەناتۆت و عەلمۆن، چوار شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
19 هەموو شارۆچکەکانی نەوەی هارون کە کاهینەکانن، سێزدە شارۆچکە بوون بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
20 پاشماوەی خێڵەکانی قەهات لە لێڤییەکان، بە تیروپشک ئەم شارۆچکانەیان لە هۆزی ئەفرایم بەرکەوت:
21 لە ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی ئەفرایم شارۆچکەی شەخەمیان پێدرا، کە شارێکی پەناگای تۆمەتبارکراوان بوو بە کوشتن، لەگەڵ گەزەر و 22 قیڤچەیم و بێت‌حۆرۆن، چوار شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
23 لە هۆزی دانیش ئەمانەیان وەرگرت: ئەلتەقێ و گیبەتۆن و 24 ئەیالۆن و گەت ڕیمۆن، چوار شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
25 لە نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشەش ئەمانەیان وەرگرت: تەعنەک و گەت ڕیمۆن، دوو شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
26 هەموو شارۆچکەکان دە بوون بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە بۆ پاشماوەی خێڵەکانی نەوەی قەهات بوو.
27 بۆ نەوەی گێرشۆنیش لە خێڵەکانی لێڤییەکان:
لە نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشەوە:
گۆلان و لەوەڕگاکانی پێدرا لە باشان، کە شارێکی پەناگای تۆمەتبارکراوان بە کوشتن بوو، لەگەڵ بەعەشتەرا و لەوەڕگاکانی، دوو شارۆچکە.
28 لە هۆزی نەوەی یەساخاریش ئەمانەیان وەرگرت:
قیشیۆن و داڤەرەت و 29 یەرموت و کانی گەنیم، چوار شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
30 لە هۆزی نەوەی ئاشێریش ئەمانەیان وەرگرت:
میشال و عەڤدۆن و 31 حەلقەت و ڕەحۆڤ، چوار شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
32 لە هۆزی نەفتالیش ئەمانەیان وەرگرت:
قەدەش، شاری پەناگای تۆمەتبارکراوان بە کوشتن، لە جەلیل، لەگەڵ حەمۆت دۆر و قەرتان، سێ شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
33 هەموو شارۆچکەکانی گێرشۆنییەکان بەگوێرەی خێڵەکانیان، سێزدە شارۆچکە بوون بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
34 بۆ خێڵەکانی نەوەی مەراریش کە پاشماوەی لێڤییەکانن:
لە هۆزی زەبولون ئەمانەیان پێدان:
یۆقنەعام و قەرتا و 35 دیمنا و نەهەلال، چوار شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
36 لە هۆزی ڕەئوبێنیش ئەمانەیان پێدان:
بەچەر و یەهەچ و 37 قەدێمۆت و مێفەعەت، چوار شارۆچکە بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە.
38 لە هۆزی گادیش ئەمانەیان وەرگرت:
ڕامۆت، شاری پەناگای تۆمەتبارکراوان بە کوشتن، لە گلعاد، لەگەڵ مەحەنەیم و 39 حەشبۆن و یەعزێر، هەموو شارۆچکەکان بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە چوار شارۆچکە بوون.
40 جا هەموو ئەو شارۆچکانەی بۆ نەوەی مەراری بوون بەگوێرەی خێڵەکانیان، ئەوانەی لە خێڵەکانی لێڤییەکان مابوونەوە، تیروپشکەکەشیان دوازدە شارۆچکە بوو.
41 هەموو شارۆچکەکانی لێڤییەکان لەناو ئەو موڵکەی نەوەی ئیسرائیل خاوەنی بوون، چل و هەشت شارۆچکە بوون بە لەوەڕگاکانیانەوە. 42 ئەم شارۆچکانەش شار بە شار بوون و لەوەڕگاکانیشیان بە چواردەوریاندا بوو، هەموو ئەم شارۆچکانە وابوون.
43 جا یەزدان هەموو ئەو زەوییەی دایە نەوەی ئیسرائیل کە سوێندی خواردبوو بیداتە باوباپیرانیان، ئەوانیش دەستیان بەسەردا گرت و تێیدا نیشتەجێ بوون. 44 هەروەها یەزدان لە دەوروبەرەکەیان ئاسوودەی کردن بەپێی ئەو سوێندەی بۆ باوباپیرانی ئەوانی خوارد، تەنها پیاوێکیش لە هەموو دوژمنەکانیان بەرامبەریان نەوەستا، بەڵکو یەزدان هەموو دوژمنەکانی ئەوانی دایە دەستیان. 45 هیچ بەڵێنێک لە هەموو ئەو بەڵێنە چاکانەی یەزدان بە بنەماڵەی ئیسرائیلی فەرمووبوو نەشکاوە، بەڵکو هەمووی هاتە دی.

Towns for the Levites(A)
21 Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribal families of Israel(B) 2 at Shiloh(C) in Canaan and said to them, “The Lord commanded through Moses that you give us towns(D) to live in, with pasturelands for our livestock.”(E) 3 So, as the Lord had commanded, the Israelites gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own inheritance:
4 The first lot came out for the Kohathites,(F) according to their clans. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin.(G) 5 The rest of Kohath’s descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of the tribes of Ephraim, Dan and half of Manasseh.(H)
6 The descendants of Gershon(I) were allotted thirteen towns from the clans of the tribes of Issachar,(J) Asher,(K) Naphtali and the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
7 The descendants of Merari,(L) according to their clans, received twelve(M) towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.(N)
8 So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these towns and their pasturelands, as the Lord had commanded through Moses.
9 From the tribes of Judah and Simeon they allotted the following towns by name 10 (these towns were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them):
11 They gave them Kiriath Arba(O) (that is, Hebron(P)), with its surrounding pastureland, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.) 12 But the fields and villages around the city they had given to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession.(Q)
13 So to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron (a city of refuge(R) for one accused of murder), Libnah,(S) 14 Jattir,(T) Eshtemoa,(U) 15 Holon,(V) Debir,(W) 16 Ain,(X) Juttah(Y) and Beth Shemesh,(Z) together with their pasturelands—nine towns from these two tribes.
17 And from the tribe of Benjamin they gave them Gibeon,(AA) Geba,(AB) 18 Anathoth(AC) and Almon, together with their pasturelands—four towns.
19 The total number of towns(AD) for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, came to thirteen, together with their pasturelands.(AE)
20 The rest of the Kohathite clans of the Levites were allotted towns from the tribe of Ephraim:
21 In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem(AF) (a city of refuge for one accused of murder) and Gezer,(AG) 22 Kibzaim and Beth Horon,(AH) together with their pasturelands—four towns.(AI)
23 Also from the tribe of Dan they received Eltekeh, Gibbethon,(AJ) 24 Aijalon(AK) and Gath Rimmon,(AL) together with their pasturelands—four towns.
25 From half the tribe of Manasseh they received Taanach(AM) and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands—two towns.
26 All these ten towns and their pasturelands were given to the rest of the Kohathite clans.(AN)
27 The Levite clans of the Gershonites were given:
from the half-tribe of Manasseh,
Golan in Bashan(AO) (a city of refuge for one accused of murder(AP)) and Be Eshterah, together with their pasturelands—two towns;
28 from the tribe of Issachar,(AQ)
Kishion,(AR) Daberath,(AS) 29 Jarmuth(AT) and En Gannim,(AU) together with their pasturelands—four towns;
30 from the tribe of Asher,(AV)
32 from the tribe of Naphtali,
Kedesh(AZ) in Galilee (a city of refuge for one accused of murder(BA)), Hammoth Dor and Kartan, together with their pasturelands—three towns.
33 The total number of towns of the Gershonite(BB) clans came to thirteen, together with their pasturelands.
34 The Merarite clans (the rest of the Levites) were given:
from the tribe of Zebulun,(BC)
Jokneam,(BD) Kartah, 35 Dimnah and Nahalal,(BE) together with their pasturelands—four towns;
36 from the tribe of Reuben,
38 from the tribe of Gad,
Ramoth(BI) in Gilead(BJ) (a city of refuge for one accused of murder), Mahanaim,(BK) 39 Heshbon and Jazer,(BL) together with their pasturelands—four towns in all.
40 The total number of towns allotted to the Merarite clans, who were the rest of the Levites, came to twelve.(BM)
41 The towns of the Levites in the territory held by the Israelites were forty-eight in all, together with their pasturelands.(BN) 42 Each of these towns had pasturelands surrounding it; this was true for all these towns.
43 So the Lord gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors,(BO) and they took possession(BP) of it and settled there.(BQ) 44 The Lord gave them rest(BR) on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies(BS) withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies(BT) into their hands.(BU) 45 Not one of all the Lord’s good promises(BV) to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.
