ئەویندار
2 من گوڵاڵە سوورەی شارۆن و
سەوسەنی دۆڵانم.
دڵدار
2 وەک گوڵی سەوسەن لەناو دڕکوداڵ
یارەکەم ئاوایە لەناو کچان.
ئەویندار
3 وەک دار سێو لەنێو دارەکانی دارستان
دڵدارەکەم ئاوایە لەناو کوڕان.
حەزم لە دانیشتنە لە سێبەرەکەی
مێوەکەشی بۆ دەمم شیرینە.
4 با بمباتە هۆڵی خوانەکە،
خۆشەویستییەکەی وەک ئاڵا لەسەر سەرم بشەکێتەوە.
5 بە کشمیش گڕوتینم پێ ببەخشن،
بە سێو بمگەشێننەوە،
چونکە من بە شەیدای خۆشەویستی ئەوم.
6 دەستی چەپی لەژێر سەرمە و
دەستی ڕاستی لە ئامێزم دەگرێت.
7 ئەی کچانی ئۆرشەلیم، سوێندتان دەدەم،
بە مامز یان مێینەی ئاسکی دەشتودەر،
کە خۆشەویستی هەڵنەستێنن و بە ئاگای نەهێنن
هەتا خۆی حەز دەکات.
8 گوێ بگرە! ئەوە دەنگی دڵدارەکەمە!
تەماشا بکە! وا دێت،
لەسەر چیاکان هەڵدەبەزێتەوە،
بەسەر گردەکاندا باز دەدات.
9 دڵدارەکەم وەک ئاسک یان وەک کارمامزە،
وا لە پشت دیوارەکەمان ڕاوەستاوە،
لە دەلاقەوە سەیر دەکات،
لە کڵاوڕۆژنەوە[a] تەماشا دەکات.
10 دڵدارەکەم قسەی کرد، پێی گوتم:
«یارەکەم، هەستە،
شیرینەکەم، وەرە.
11 تەماشا بکە، زستان تێپەڕی،
باران بەسەرچوو و نەما.
12 گوڵ لەسەر زەوی دەرکەوت،
ئێستا کاتی گۆرانییە؛
خوێندنی کوکوختی
لە خاکی ئێمە دەبیسترێت.
13 هەنجیر بەری گرتووە،
بۆنی پەسیرەی[b] مێو بڵاو بووەتەوە.
یارەکەم، هەستە،
شیرینەکەم، وەرە.»
دڵدار
14 ئەی کۆترەکەم لەناو کەلەبەری هەڵدێرەکان،
لە پەناگای بنارەکان،
با ڕوخسارت ببینم،
با دەنگت ببیستم،
چونکە دەنگت ناسکە و
ڕوخسارت شیرینە!
15 ڕێوییەکانمان بۆ ڕاو بکەن،
ئەو توولە ڕێوییانەی
ڕەزەکانمان تێکدەدەن،
چونکە ڕەزەکانمان پەسیرەیان گرتووە.
ئەویندار
16 دڵدارەکەم بۆ منە و منیش بۆ ئەوم،
لەناو گوڵە سەوسەنەکان دەلەوەڕێت.
17 بەر لەوەی ڕۆژ هەڵبێت و
تاریکی بڕەوێتەوە،
ئەی دڵدارەکەم، بگەڕێوە،
وەک ئاسک بە،
یان کارمامز
لەسەر چیا فرە لووتکەکان.

2 Like a lily among thorns
is my darling among the young women.

3 Like an apple[c] tree among the trees of the forest
is my beloved(D) among the young men.
I delight(E) to sit in his shade,
and his fruit is sweet to my taste.(F)
4 Let him lead me to the banquet hall,(G)
and let his banner(H) over me be love.
5 Strengthen me with raisins,
refresh me with apples,(I)
for I am faint with love.(J)
6 His left arm is under my head,
and his right arm embraces me.(K)
7 Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you(L)
by the gazelles and by the does of the field:
Do not arouse or awaken love
until it so desires.(M)
8 Listen! My beloved!
Look! Here he comes,
leaping across the mountains,
bounding over the hills.(N)
9 My beloved is like a gazelle(O) or a young stag.(P)
Look! There he stands behind our wall,
gazing through the windows,
peering through the lattice.
10 My beloved spoke and said to me,
“Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, come with me.
11 See! The winter is past;

the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
