66 اے روئے زمین ! خدا کے لئے خوشی کا نعرہ لگا۔
2 اُس کے نام کے جلال کی ستائش کر۔
تعریف کے گیت گاتے ہوئے اُس کو احترا م دے۔
3 خدا سے کہو تیرے کام کیا ہی حیرت انگیز ہیں۔
اے خدا! تیری قوّت بہت عظیم ہے۔ تیرے دشمن جھک جا تے اور وہ تجھ سے ڈر تے ہیں۔
4 ساری زمین تجھے سجدہ کر ے گی ،
اور تیرے حضور گائے گی۔
5 تم ان حیرت انگیز کاموں کو دیکھو جو خدا نے کئے!
وہ کارنا مے ہم کو حیرت میں ڈالتے ہیں۔
6 اُس نے سمندر کو خشک زمین بنا دیا۔
اور اُس کے خوش و خرم لوگ دریا سے پیدل گذر گئے۔
7 خدا اپنی عظیم قدرت سے اِس دنیا پر حکومت کرتا ہے۔
خدا تما م لوگوں پر کڑی نظر رکھتا ہے۔
کو ئی بھی شخص اس کے خلاف نہیں ہو سکتا۔
8 اے لوگو! اپنے خدا کی ستائش کرو۔
تعریف کے گیت گاتے ہو ئے اُس کی ستائش کرو۔
9 خدانے ہم کو یہ زندگی دی ہے۔
وہ ہماری حفا ظت کرتا ہے۔
10 خدا نے ہما را امتحان لیا ہے۔ خدانے ہمیں ویسے ہی پرکھا، جیسے لوگ آ گ میں ڈال کر چاندی پرکھتے ہیں۔
11 اے خدا، تو نے ہمیں جال میں پھنسنے دیا۔
توُ نے ہم پر بھا ری بوجھ لا ددیا۔
12 تو نے ہمیں دشمنوں کے پیروں تلے روند وایا۔
توُ نے ہم کو آ گ اور پانی سے گھسیٹا۔
لیکن تو پھر بھی ہمیں محفوظ جگہ پر لے آیا۔
13-14 اس لئے میں تیرے گھر میں قربانیا ں چڑھا نے لا ؤں گا۔
جب میں مصیبت میں تھا تو میں نے تیری پناہ مانگی
اور میں نے تجھ سے بہت سی منّتیں کیں۔
اب اُن سب چیزوں کو جن کا میں نے عہد کیا تھا میں تجھے دے رہا ہوں۔
15 میں اپنے قصور کو مٹا نے کے لئے قربانی کے مینڈھوں کو لُوبان کے ساتھ نذر کر رہا ہوں۔
تجھ کو بیلوں اور بکروں کی قربانی پیش کرتا ہوں۔
16 ا ے سبھی لوگو! خداکے عبادت گذارو! آؤ،
میں تمہیں بتا ؤں گا کہ خدا نے میرے لئے کیا کیاہے۔
17 میں نے اُس سے دعا کی۔
میں نے اُس کی تمجید کی۔
18 میرا دل پاک تھا،
میرے مالک نے میری بات سنی۔
19 خدا نے میری سنی۔
خدا نے میری دعاء سن لی۔
20 خدا کی ستائش کرو۔
خدا نے مجھ سے مُنہ نہیں موڑا۔ اُس نے میری دعاء کو سن لیا۔
خدانے اپنی شفقت مجھ پر کی۔

For the director of music. A song. A psalm.
1 Shout for joy to God, all the earth!(A)
2 Sing the glory of his name;(B)
make his praise glorious.(C)
3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!(D)
So great is your power
that your enemies cringe(E) before you.
4 All the earth bows down(F) to you;
they sing praise(G) to you,
they sing the praises of your name.”[a]
5 Come and see what God has done,
his awesome deeds(H) for mankind!
6 He turned the sea into dry land,(I)
they passed through(J) the waters on foot—
come, let us rejoice(K) in him.
7 He rules forever(L) by his power,
his eyes watch(M) the nations—
let not the rebellious(N) rise up against him.
8 Praise(O) our God, all peoples,
let the sound of his praise be heard;
9 he has preserved our lives(P)
and kept our feet from slipping.(Q)
10 For you, God, tested(R) us;
you refined us like silver.(S)
11 You brought us into prison(T)
and laid burdens(U) on our backs.
12 You let people ride over our heads;(V)
we went through fire and water,
but you brought us to a place of abundance.(W)
13 I will come to your temple with burnt offerings(X)
and fulfill my vows(Y) to you—
14 vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke
when I was in trouble.
15 I will sacrifice fat animals to you
and an offering of rams;
I will offer bulls and goats.(Z)
16 Come and hear,(AA) all you who fear God;
let me tell(AB) you what he has done for me.
17 I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue.
18 If I had cherished sin in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened;(AC)
19 but God has surely listened
and has heard(AD) my prayer.
20 Praise be to God,
who has not rejected(AE) my prayer
or withheld his love from me!

66 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.
6 He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
8 O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
