صور سمندر پر تجارت کا عظیم مر کز
27 خدا وند کا کلام مجھے دوبارہ ملا۔ اس نے کہا، 2 “اے ابن آدم! صور کے بارے میں یہ غمزدہ گیت گاؤ، 3 صور کے بارے میں یہ کہو: “تم سمندر کے بندر گاہ پر رہتے ہو۔ تم کئی قوموں کے لئے تاجر ہو۔ خدا وند میرا مالک یہ کہتا ہے:
“صور تم سوچتے ہو کہ تم کامل حسن ہو۔
4 تمہاری سر حدیں سمندر کے درمیان ہیں۔
تمہارے معماروں نے تمہاری خوشنمائی کو کامل کیا ہے۔
5 تمہارے معماروں نے کوہِ سنير سے سرو کے پیڑوں کا استعمال،
تمہارے تختوں کو بنا نے کے لئے کیا۔
انہوں نے لبنان سے دیودار درخت کا استعمال
تمہارے مستول (ڈنڈا ) کو بنانے کے لئے کیا۔
6 انہوں نے بسن کے بلوط کا استعمال،
تمہارے پتواروں کو بنا نے کے لئے کیا۔
اور تمہارے تختے جزائر کتّیم کے صنوبر سے
ہاتھی دانت جڑ کر تیار کئے گئے۔
7 تمہارے باد بان کے لئے انہوں نے مصر میں بنے زر دار کتان کا استعمال کیا۔
بادبان تمہارا پر چم تھا۔
شامیانہ تمہارے کمرے کے لئے نیلا اور ارغوانی تھے۔
وہ سرو کے سمندری ساحل سے آئے۔
8 صور اور ارود کے لوگوں نے تیرے لئے تیری کشتیوں کی قطاریں لگا ئیں۔
صور تیرے دانشمند لو گ تیرے کھینے والے ملاح تھے۔
9 جبل کے بزرگ اور دانشمند لوگ
جہاز کي دیواروں کے شگاف کو بھر نے کے لئے جہاز پر تھے۔
سمندر کے سارے جہاز اور انکے ملاح
تمہارے ساتھ تجارت اور صنعت و حر فت کے لئے آئے۔ ”
10 فارس، لود اور فوط کے لوگ تمہاری فوج میں تھے۔ وہ تمہارے جنگ کے سپا ہی تھے۔ انہوں نے اپنی ڈھا لیں اور ہلمیٹ تمہاری دیواروں پر لٹکائے۔ انہوں نے تمہارے شہر کے لئے اعزاز اور جلال بخشا۔ 11 ارود کے لوگ تمہارے شہر کے چاروں جانب کی دیوار پر محافظ کی شکل میں کھڑے تھے اور بہادر تمہاری برجوں پر حاضر تھے۔ انہوں نے اپنی ڈھا لوں کو چاروں طرف تمہاری دیواروں پر لٹکائیں۔ اور تمہارے جمال کو کامل کیا۔
12 “تر سیس تمہارے گاہکوں میں سے ایک تھا۔ وہ تمہاری سبھی تعجب خیز چیزوں کے بدلے، چاندی، لوہا، رانگا اور سیسہ دیتے تھے۔ 13 یاوان، توبل، مسک، اور سیاہ سمندر کے چاروں جانب کے علاقوں کے لوگ تمہارے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے۔ وہ تمہاری چیزوں کے بدلے غلام اور پیتل دیتے تھے۔ 14 اہل تجر مہ گھوڑے، جنگلی گھوڑے اور خچر ان چیزوں کے بدلے میں دیتے تھے۔ جنہیں تم بیچتے تھے۔ 15 اہل ددان تمہارے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے۔ تم اپنی چیزوں کو کئی مقاموں پر بیچتے تھے۔ لوگ تم کو مبادلہ کے لئے ہاتھی دانت آبنوس کی لکڑی لاتے تھے۔ 16 ارامی تمہارے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے کیوں کہ تمہارے پاس بہت سی اچھی چیزیں تھیں۔ ارام کے لوگ قیمتی پتھر، ارغوانی رنگ کے کپڑے، زر دار کپڑے، عمدہ کتان مونگا اور لعل لا کر تم سے خرید و فروخت کرتے تھے۔
17 “یہوداہ اور اسرائیل کے ملک تمہارے تاجر تھے۔ وہ منیت اور نیگ کا گیہوں اور شہد اور روغن اور بلستان لاکر تمہارے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے۔ 18 دمشق ایک اچھا تاجر تھا۔ وہ تمہارے پاس قیمتی سامان خریدا کرتے تھے۔ وہ حلبون سے مئے کی تجارت کرتے تھے اور ان چیزوں کے لئے سفید اون دیتے تھے۔ 19 جو چیزیں تم بیچتے تھے اسے اوزال سے دانی اور یونانی لوگ خرید تے تھے۔ وہ ان چیزوں کے مبادلہ میں پیٹا ہوا فولاد، دار چینی اور گنّا دیتے تھے۔ 20 ددان اچھی تجارت حاصل کرتا تھا۔ وہ تمہارے ساتھ گھوڑ سوار کے لئے زین کے کپڑوں کی تجارت کرتے تھے۔ 21 عرب اور قیدار کے سبھی قائدین بھیڑ، مینڈھے اور بکرے تمہاری چیزوں کے مبادلے میں دیتے تھے۔ 22 سبا اور رعماہ کے تاجر تمہارے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے۔ وہ ہر قسم کے نفیس مصالحہ اور ہر طرح کے قیمتی پتھر اور سونا تمہارے بازاروں میں لاکر خرید و فروخت کرتے تھے۔ 23 حرّان، کنّہ، عدن، سبا، اسور، کلمد کے تاجر تمہارے ساتھ تجارت کرتے تھے۔ 24 انہوں نے لاجور دی کپڑوں، کمخواب اور نفیس پوشاک، رنگ برنگ قالین، نفیس رسیاں اور دیو دار کی لکڑی سے بنے سامان مبادلہ میں دیئے یہ وہ چیزیں تھیں جنہوں نے تمہارے ساتھ تجارت کی۔ 25 ترسیس کے جہاز ان چیزوں کو لے جاتے تھے۔ جنہیں تم بیچتے تھے۔”
اے صور! تم ان تجارتی گروہ میں سے ایک طرح کی ہو۔
تم سمندر پر قیمتی چیزوں سے لدے ہوئے ہو۔
26 وہ ملاّح جو تمہا ری کشتیوں کو آگے بڑھا تے ہیں تمہيں سمندروں کے پار عظیم ملکو ں میں لے گئے۔
لیکن طاقتور مشرقی ہوا تمہا رے جہازو ں کو بیچ سمندر میں فنا کر دیگی۔
27 اور تمہا ری ساری دو لت سمندر میں ڈو ب جا ئے گی۔
تمہا ری دولت، تمہا ری تجارت اور چیزیں، تمہا رے ملاح اور تمہا رے ناخدا،
تمہا رے سارے لوگ،تمہارے جہاز پر تختوں کے شگافوں کو بھر نے وا لے لوگ اور شہر کے سبھی سپا ہی سمندروں میں غرق ہو جا ئیں گے۔
یہ اسی دن ہو گا جس دن تم برباد ہو گے۔
28 “تم نے اپنے تاجرو ں کو بہت دور مقاموں میں بھیجا،
وہ مقام خوف سے کانپ اٹھیں گے۔ جب وہ تمہا رے ناخدا ؤں کا چلانا سنیں گے۔
29 اور تمام ملاح اور اہل جہاز اپنے جہازوں پر سے اتر آئیں گے
اور ساحل پر جا کھڑے ہونگے۔
30 وہ تمہا رے حالات کو دیکھ کر آواز بلند کریں گے اور پھوٹ پھوٹ کر رو ئینگے
وہ اپنے سرو ں پر خاک ڈا لیں گے وہ را کھ میں لوٹ پوٹ ہونگے۔
31 وہ تمہا لئے سر پر استرا پھرا ئیں گے۔
وہ ٹاٹ اوڑھیں گے۔
وہ تمہا رے لئے رو ئیں گے اور چلائیں گے۔
وہ کسی ایسے رو تے ہو ئے کی مانند ہونگے جو کسی کے مرنے پر رو تا ہے۔
32 “وہ نو حہ کر تے وقت تمہا رے با رے میں مر ثیہ خوانی کریں گے۔”
کو ئی صور کی طرح نہیں ہے!
صور فنا کر دیا گیا، سمندر کے بیچ میں!
33 تمہا رے تاجر سمندر کے پار گئے،
تم نے ان کے لوگو ں کو اپنی عظیم دو لت اور چیزوں سے مسرور کیا،
تم نے رو ئے زمین کے بادشا ہوں کو دولتمند بنا دیا۔
34 پر اب تم سمندر کی گہرا ئی میں
پانی کے زور سے ٹوٹ گئے ہو۔
سبھی چیزیں جنہیں تم بیچتے ہو،
اور تمہا رے سبھی لوگ نیست ونابود ہو چکے ہیں۔
35 بحری ممالک کے باشندے
تمہا رے لئے حیرت زدہ ہیں۔
ان کے بادشا ہ نہایت دہشت زدہ ہیں۔
انکے چہروں سے حیرت ٹپکتی ہے۔
36 قوموں کے سوداگر تمہا را ذکر سن کر سسکا ریں گے۔
جو کچھ تمہا رے ساتھ ہوا، لوگوں کو خوفزدہ کریگا۔
کیوں؟ کیونکہ تم ختم ہو گئے ہو۔
تم اب باقی نہیں رہے۔”

A Lament Over Tyre
27 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, take up a lament(A) concerning Tyre. 3 Say to Tyre,(B) situated at the gateway to the sea,(C) merchant of peoples on many coasts, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘You say, Tyre,
“I am perfect in beauty.(D)”
4 Your domain was on the high seas;
your builders brought your beauty to perfection.(E)
5 They made all your timbers
of juniper from Senir[a];(F)
they took a cedar from Lebanon(G)
to make a mast for you.
6 Of oaks(H) from Bashan
they made your oars;
of cypress wood[b] from the coasts of Cyprus(I)
they made your deck, adorned with ivory.
7 Fine embroidered linen(J) from Egypt was your sail
and served as your banner;
your awnings were of blue and purple(K)
from the coasts of Elishah.(L)
8 Men of Sidon and Arvad(M) were your oarsmen;
your skilled men, Tyre, were aboard as your sailors.(N)
9 Veteran craftsmen of Byblos(O) were on board
as shipwrights to caulk your seams.
All the ships of the sea(P) and their sailors
came alongside to trade for your wares.
10 “‘Men of Persia,(Q) Lydia(R) and Put(S)
served as soldiers in your army.
They hung their shields(T) and helmets on your walls,
bringing you splendor.
11 Men of Arvad and Helek
guarded your walls on every side;
men of Gammad
were in your towers.
They hung their shields around your walls;
they brought your beauty to perfection.(U)
12 “‘Tarshish(V) did business with you because of your great wealth of goods;(W) they exchanged silver, iron, tin and lead for your merchandise.
13 “‘Greece,(X) Tubal and Meshek(Y) did business with you; they traded human beings(Z) and articles of bronze for your wares.
14 “‘Men of Beth Togarmah(AA) exchanged chariot horses, cavalry horses and mules for your merchandise.
15 “‘The men of Rhodes[c](AB) traded with you, and many coastlands(AC) were your customers; they paid you with ivory(AD) tusks and ebony.
16 “‘Aram[d](AE) did business with you because of your many products; they exchanged turquoise,(AF) purple fabric, embroidered work, fine linen,(AG) coral(AH) and rubies for your merchandise.
17 “‘Judah and Israel traded with you; they exchanged wheat(AI) from Minnith(AJ) and confections,[e] honey, olive oil and balm(AK) for your wares.(AL)
18 “‘Damascus(AM) did business with you because of your many products and great wealth of goods.(AN) They offered wine from Helbon, wool from Zahar 19 and casks of wine from Izal(AO) in exchange for your wares: wrought iron, cassia(AP) and calamus.
20 “‘Dedan(AQ) traded in saddle blankets with you.
21 “‘Arabia(AR) and all the princes of Kedar(AS) were your customers; they did business with you in lambs, rams and goats.
22 “‘The merchants of Sheba(AT) and Raamah traded with you; for your merchandise they exchanged the finest of all kinds of spices(AU) and precious stones, and gold.(AV)
23 “‘Harran,(AW) Kanneh and Eden(AX) and merchants of Sheba, Ashur(AY) and Kilmad traded with you. 24 In your marketplace they traded with you beautiful garments, blue fabric, embroidered work and multicolored rugs with cords twisted and tightly knotted.
25 “‘The ships of Tarshish(AZ) serve
as carriers for your wares.
You are filled with heavy cargo
as you sail the sea.(BA)
26 Your oarsmen take you
out to the high seas.
But the east wind(BB) will break you to pieces
far out at sea.
27 Your wealth,(BC) merchandise and wares,
your mariners, sailors and shipwrights,
your merchants and all your soldiers,
and everyone else on board
will sink into the heart of the sea(BD)
on the day of your shipwreck.
28 The shorelands will quake(BE)
when your sailors cry out.
29 All who handle the oars
will abandon their ships;
the mariners and all the sailors
will stand on the shore.
30 They will raise their voice
and cry bitterly over you;
they will sprinkle dust(BF) on their heads
and roll(BG) in ashes.(BH)
31 They will shave their heads(BI) because of you
and will put on sackcloth.
They will weep(BJ) over you with anguish of soul
and with bitter mourning.(BK)
32 As they wail and mourn over you,
they will take up a lament(BL) concerning you:
“Who was ever silenced like Tyre,
surrounded by the sea?(BM)”
33 When your merchandise went out on the seas,(BN)
you satisfied many nations;
with your great wealth(BO) and your wares
you enriched the kings of the earth.
34 Now you are shattered by the sea
in the depths of the waters;
your wares and all your company
have gone down with you.(BP)
35 All who live in the coastlands(BQ)
are appalled(BR) at you;
their kings shudder with horror
and their faces are distorted with fear.(BS)
36 The merchants among the nations scoff at you;(BT)
you have come to a horrible end
and will be no more.(BU)’”

27 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord God; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.
4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.
8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.
9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.
10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.
11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.
12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.
14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.
18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.
20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.
21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.
22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.
24 These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
26 Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.
27 Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.
29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
33 When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
34 In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.
35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.
36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.
