⁴ So the people sent men to Shiloh, and they brought back the ark of the covenant of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim.^(A) And Eli’s two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

² He and all his men went to Baalah^[a](A) in Judah to bring up from there the ark^(B) of God, which is called by the Name,^[b](C) the name of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned^(D) between the cherubim^(E) on the ark.

¹⁵ And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord: “Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim,^(A) you alone^(B) are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
