71 О Аллах, справедливостью Твоей надели царя
и праведностью Твоей – сына царского,
2 чтобы он судил народ Твой праведно
и страдальцев Твоих – справедливо.
3 Горы принесут процветание народу,
и холмы – плоды праведности.
4 Он защитит страдальцев из народа,
спасёт сыновей нищих и сокрушит притеснителя.
5 Будут бояться Тебя, пока существуют солнце и луна,
из поколения в поколение.
6 Он будет как дождь, идущий над скошенным полем,
словно ливень, орошающий землю.
7 В дни его будет процветать праведник,
и благоденствие не прекратится,
пока не исчезнет луна.
8 Он будет владычествовать от моря и до моря
и от реки Евфрата до края земли.
9 Жители пустынь преклонятся перед ним,
и враги его будут лизать пыль.
10 Цари Фарсиса и отдалённых побережий принесут ему дань,
цари Шевы и Севы принесут дары.[a]
11 Поклонятся ему все цари;
все народы будут ему служить.
12 Он спасёт нищего, когда тот взывает,
и угнетённого, у которого нет помощника.
13 Он будет милосерден к бедному и нищему;
жизнь нищих он спасёт.
14 Он избавит их от угнетения и насилия,
ведь драгоценна их кровь в глазах его.
15 Пусть будет долог его век;
пусть будет дано ему золото Шевы!
И пусть непрестанно возносят молитвы за него,
весь день прославляя его.
16 Пусть будет обилие хлеба на всей земле
и ветер колышет колосья на вершинах холмов.
Пусть фруктовые деревья изобилуют, как деревья на Ливане,
и размножатся люди в городах, как трава на земле.
17 Пусть имя его пребудет вовек,
пока светит солнце.
В нём благословятся все народы земли,
и они назовут его благословенным.

18 Хвала Вечному Богу, Богу Исраила,
Который один творит чудеса!
19 Хвала славному имени Его вовеки,
и да наполнится вся земля Его славою!

1 Господи, помоги царю быть справедливым,
а его сыну мудрые решения принимать.
2 Справедливо пусть судит Он
людей всех неимущих.
3 Пусть будут мир и справедливость на всей земле:
на каждом холме и на всякой горе.
4 Пусть будет царь к бедным справедлив,
беспомощным защиту он окажет
и притеснителей всех их усмирит.
5 Боже, пусть люди благоговеют перед Тобой,
пока будут солнце и луна,
из поколения в поколение.
6 Пусть он будет как дождь для полей,
как для пашни дождь оживляющий.
7 В дни его пусть процветает праведность,
пусть будет мир, пока не перестанет светить луна.
8 И от моря до моря пусть правит он,
от Евфрата до края земного[b].
9 Пусть жители пустыни склонятся пред ним,
а враги покорно на колени упадут.
10 Пусть цари Фарсиса
и всех прибрежных царств дань ему приносят.
Пусть цари Шевы и Севы[c] дары ему несут.
11 Пусть все цари земные склонятся пред ним,
и все народы во власти его будут.
12 Он спасёт убогих, взывающих к нему,
потому что больше никто им не поможет.
13 К слабым будет добр он, отведёт нужду
и не даст бедному умереть.
14 Он избавит их от злых людей,
старающихся боль им причинить.
Царь дорожит жизнью бедняка.
15 Пусть живёт он долго,
да будет ему дано золото всей Шевы,
и пусть люди молятся о нём,
ежедневно благословляя.
16 Изобильны пусть будут хлеба на земле,
на холмах плоды словно ливанские леса,
и умножатся люди как в поле трава.
17 Пусть вечно славится имя царя,
и в памяти людской он пребудет
до тех пор, пока не погаснет солнце.
И народы пусть благословенным его назовут,
и обретут в нём благословение.
18 Пусть Господь, Бог Израиля,
будет восхвалён, так как только Он
такие великие чудеса сотворить способен.
19 Да восславится имя Его вовек.
Да наполнится славой Его земля.

1 In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;(B)
let me never be put to shame.(C)
2 In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me;
turn your ear(D) to me and save me.
3 Be my rock of refuge,
to which I can always go;
give the command to save me,
for you are my rock and my fortress.(E)
4 Deliver(F) me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,(G)
from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.(H)
5 For you have been my hope,(I) Sovereign Lord,
my confidence(J) since my youth.
6 From birth(K) I have relied on you;
you brought me forth from my mother’s womb.(L)
I will ever praise(M) you.
7 I have become a sign(N) to many;
you are my strong refuge.(O)
8 My mouth(P) is filled with your praise,
declaring your splendor(Q) all day long.
9 Do not cast(R) me away when I am old;(S)
do not forsake(T) me when my strength is gone.
10 For my enemies(U) speak against me;

do not forsake me, my God,

71 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.
6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.
9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10 For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
11 Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
24 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
