20 Дирижеру хора. Псалом Давида.
2 Господи, царь радуется силе Твоей,
о победах[a] Твоих радуется безмерно.
3 Ты исполнил то, чего он желал,
и мольбы его не отверг. Пауза
4 Ты встретил его с обильными благословениями,
возложил на голову его венец из чистого золота.
5 Он просил жизни, и Ты дал ему
долгоденствие навеки.
6 Велика его слава из-за побед, что Ты даровал;
Ты возложил на него честь и величие.
7 Ты одарил его вечными благословениями
и исполнил радости от Твоего присутствия.
8 Ведь царь надеется на Господа,
и по милости Всевышнего не поколеблется.
9 Твоя рука схватит врагов Твоих,
правая рука Твоя – ненавистников Твоих.
10 Во время явления Твоего
Ты сделаешь их подобными горящей печи.
В гневе Своем Господь их погубит,
и огонь Его их сожжет.
11 Ты истребишь с земли их детей,
из людской среды их потомство.
12 Они против Тебя замышляют зло
и строят козни, но безуспешно.
13 Ты в бегство их обратишь,
нацелив в них натянутый лук.
14 В силе Твоей вознесись, Господи!
Мы Твою мощь воспоем и прославим.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high [and defend you];
2 Send you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you from Zion;
3 Remember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah [pause, and think of that]!
4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans.
5 We will [shout in] triumph at your salvation and victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are bowed down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.
9 O Lord, give victory; let the King answer us when we call.

20 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
