(A)13 Дирижеру хора. Псалом Давида.

Сказал безумец в сердце своем:
    «Нет Бога».
Они развратились, гнусны их дела;
    нет делающего добро.

2 Господь взирает с небес на людей,
    чтобы увидеть, есть ли понимающий,
    ищущий Бога.
3 Все сбились с пути,
    все, как один, развратились;
нет делающего добро,
    нет ни одного.

4 Неужели не вразумятся делающие зло –
    те, кто поедает мой народ, как хлеб,
    и Господа не призывает?
5 Там их охватит страх,
    потому что Бог на стороне праведных.
6 Вы осмеяли надежды нищих,
    но прибежище их – Господь.

7 О, кто дал бы с Сиона спасение Израилю!
    Когда Господь восстановит Свой народ,
пусть ликует Иаков и радуется Израиль!

13 How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3 Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

1 How long,(A) Lord? Will you forget me(B) forever?
    How long will you hide your face(C) from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts(D)
    and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
    How long will my enemy triumph over me?(E)

3 Look on me(F) and answer,(G) Lord my God.
    Give light to my eyes,(H) or I will sleep in death,(I)
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,(J)”
    and my foes will rejoice when I fall.(K)

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;(L)
    my heart rejoices in your salvation.(M)
6 I will sing(N) the Lord’s praise,
    for he has been good to me.
