Много раз притесняли[a] меня с юности, –
    пусть скажет Израиль, –
много раз притесняли меня с юности,
    но не одолели.
На спине моей пахали пахари,
    проводили свои длинные борозды.
Господь праведен:
    Он разрубил узы нечестивых.

Пусть постыдятся и повернут назад
    все ненавидящие Сион.
Пусть будут они как трава на крыше дома,
    которая высыхает прежде чем будет вырвана.
Жнец не наполнит ею руки своей,
    и вяжущий снопы не соберет ее в пригоршни.
Проходящие мимо не скажут:
    «Благословение Господне на вас!
Благословляем вас именем Господним».

May the Lord bless you from Zion;(J)
    may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem(K)
    all the days of your life.
