1 На светим горама основао је град.
2 ГОСПОД више воли капије сионске
од свих боравишта Јаковљевих.
3 Дивоте о теби говоре, граде Божији. Села
4 »Рахав и Вавилон
прибројаћу к онима који ме знају,
а тако и Филистеју, Тир и Куш,
па ће се говорити: ‚Овај је грађанин Сиона[a].‘«
5 Да, за Сион ће говорити:
»Овај и онај његови су грађани[b]
и сâм Свевишњи ће га учврстити.«
6 ГОСПОД ће уписати у књигу народâ:
»Овај је грађанин Сиона.« Села
7 И они ће играти и певати:
»У теби су сви моји извори.«

2 Господ воли врата Сиона
више од свих Јаковљевих пребивалишта.
3 Славне се ствари говоре о теби,
о, граде Божији! Села
4 „Спомињаћу и Вавилон и Раву
са онима који ме познају;
ено, онде су Филистеја и Тир са Кушом,
’А овај је овде рођен.’“
5 А Сиону ће рећи:
„Тај и тај се у њему родио;
Свевишњи је њега основао.“
6 Уписаће Господ у књигу пописа народа:
„Овај се родио овде!“ Села
7 А певачи и играчи кажу:
„У теби су сви извори моји!“

87 His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
6 The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
7 As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song.
1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain.(A)
2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion(B)
more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are said of you,
city of God:[a](C)
4 “I will record Rahab[b](D) and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia(E) too, and Tyre(F), along with Cush[c]—
and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”[d](G)
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
“This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her.”
6 The Lord will write in the register(H) of the peoples:
“This one was born in Zion.”
