Справедлива присъда за нечестивите
73 (A)Псалом на Асаф.
Наистина добър е Бог към Израил
и към чистите по сърце.
2 Колкото до мене – краката ми почти се разклатиха,
едва не се подхлъзнах,
3 защото завиждах на надменните,
като виждах благоденствието на нечестивите.
4 Няма мъки при тяхната смърт,
пълни и здрави са телата им.
5 Те нямат грижи като другите хора
и не са измъчвани като тях.
6 Затова и гордостта ги е обвила като огърлица;
покрили са се с насилие като с дреха.
7 (B)Очите им са изпъкнали от тлъстина;
мечтанията на сърцето ги заливат.
8 Присмиват се и говорят за насилие;
надменни са, когато говорят.
9 Гласът им се издига към небето
и думите им обикалят земята.
10 Затова и народът Му се обръща към тях,
защото при тях се пие вода в изобилие.
11 И казват: „Как ще узнае Бог?
Знае ли Всевишният?“
12 Ето това са нечестивите. Те са винаги здрави
и увеличават богатството си.
13 (C)Наистина напразно ли пазех сърцето си чисто
и миех ръцете си в невинност;
14 бях изтезаван всеки ден
и наказван всяка сутрин.
15 Ако бях си казал: „Тъкмо така искам да разсъждавам“ –
щях да изневеря на рода на синовете Ти.
16 Размишлявах, за да разбера това,
но то бе трудно за очите ми,
17 докато не отидох в Божието светилище
и не помислих за края.
18 Наистина си ги поставил на хлъзгаво място
и ги оставяш да паднат в заблуда.
19 Как внезапно опустяха и изчезнаха,
загинаха от ужас.
20 Както сън изчезва след събуждане,
така и Ти, Господи, ще забравиш образа им.
21 Когато сърцето ми се огорчаваше
и вътрешностите ми се разкъсваха,
22 бях обезумял и не разбирах.
Бях като животно.
23 Но въпреки това бях винаги до Тебе
и Ти държеше десницата ми.
24 Ти ме ръководиш чрез съвета Си
и след това ще ме приемеш в слава.
25 Кого имам на небесата?
Ако съм с Тебе, нищо не желая на земята.
26 Плътта и сърцето ми изнемогват,
но Бог е моя закрила и съм завинаги с Него.
27 Защото тези, които са далече от Тебе, ще загинат.
Ти погубваш всички, които не са Ти верни.
28 На мене ми е добре близо до Бога.
Уповавам се на Господа Бога
и ще разгласявам всичките Му дела.

2 А колкото за мене, нозете ми почти се отклониха, Без малко бяха се подхлъзнали стъпките ми.
3 Защото завидях на надменните, Като гледах благоденствието на нечестивите.
4 Понеже не се притесняват при умирането си, Но тялото им е тлъсто.
5 Не са в <общите> човешки трудове Нито са измъчвани, като <другите> човеци.
6 Затова гордостта като верижка окръжава шията им, Насилието ги облича <като> дреха.
7 Очите им изпъкват от тлъстина; Мечтанията на сърцето им се превишават.
8 Присмиват се и говорят нечестиво за насилие; Говорят горделиво,
9 Издигат устата си до небето, И езикът им обхожда земята.
10 Затова отбиват се при тях {Еврейски: Там.} людете му; И вода с пълна <чаша> се изпива от тях.
11 И казват: От где знае Бог? И: Има ли знание у Всевишния?
12 Ето, такива са нечестивите! винаги са благополучни! Умножават богатство!
13 Наистина аз съм напразно очистил сърцето си, И съм измил в невинност ръцете си,
14 Тъй като съм измъчван цял ден, И наказван всяка заран.
15 Ако речех да говоря така, Ето, изневерил бих на поколението на чадата Ти;
16 И мислех как да разбера това, Но ми се виждаше много мъчно,
17 До като влязох в Божието светилище И размишлявах върху сетнината им.
18 Ти наистина си ги турил на плъзгави <места>, Тръшнал си ги на разорение.
19 Как изведнъж стигат в запустение! Съвършено се довършват от ужаси.
20 Както <се презира> съновидение, когато се събуди <някой, >Така и Ти, Господи, когато се събудиш, ще презреш образа им,
21 Но <тогава> моето сърце кипеше. И чреслата ми се измъчваха.
22 До толкова бях избезумял и не разбирах! Бях като скот пред Тебе.
23 Обаче аз винаги съм с Тебе, Ти ме хвана за дясната ми ръка.
24 Чрез съвета Си ще ме водиш, И подир това ще ме приемеш <в> слава.
25 Кого имам на небето <освен Тебе?> И на земята не желая <другиго> освен Тебе.
26 Чезне плътта ми и сърцето ми; <Но> Бог е сила на сърцето ми и вечния ми дял.
27 Защото, ето, тия, които се отдалечават от Тебе ще погинат; Ти изтребваш всички, които като блудници Те оставят.
28 Но за мене е добре да се приближа при Бога; <Тебе>, Господи Иеова, направих прибежището си, За да възгласявам всичките Твои дела.

Un psalm al lui Asaf
1 Da, bun este Dumnezeu cu Israel,
cu cei cu inima curată!
2 Totuşi era să mi se îndoaie piciorul
şi era să-mi alunece paşii!
3 Căci(A) mă uitam cu jind la cei nesocotiţi
când vedeam fericirea celor răi.
4 Într-adevăr, nimic nu-i tulbură până la moarte
şi trupul le este încărcat de grăsime.
5 N-au(B) parte de suferinţele omeneşti
şi nu sunt loviţi ca ceilalţi oameni.
6 De aceea, mândria le slujeşte ca salbă
şi asuprirea este haina care-i(C) înveleşte.
7 Li se bulbucă ochii(D) de grăsime
şi au mai mult decât le-ar dori inima.
8 Râd(E) şi vorbesc(F) cu răutate de asuprire:
vorbesc(G) de sus,
9 îşi înalţă gura(H) până la ceruri
şi limba le cutreieră pământul.
10 De aceea, aleargă lumea la ei,
înghite(I) apă din plin,
11 şi zice: „Ce(J) ar putea să ştie Dumnezeu
şi ce ar putea să cunoască Cel Preaînalt?”
12 Aşa sunt cei răi:
totdeauna fericiţi(K) şi îşi măresc bogăţiile.
13 Degeaba(L) dar mi-am curăţit eu inima
şi mi-am(M) spălat mâinile în nevinovăţie,
14 căci în fiecare zi sunt lovit
şi în toate dimineţile sunt pedepsit.
15 Dacă aş zice: „Vreau să vorbesc ca ei”,
iată că n-aş fi credincios neamului copiilor Tăi.
16 M-am(N) gândit la aceste lucruri ca să le pricep,
dar zadarnică mi-a fost truda,
17 până ce am(O) intrat în Sfântul Locaş al lui Dumnezeu
şi am luat seama la soarta(P) de la urmă a celor răi.
18 Da, Tu-i pui(Q) în locuri alunecoase
şi-i arunci în prăpăd.
19 Cum sunt nimiciţi într-o clipă!
Sunt pierduţi, prăpădiţi printr-un sfârşit năpraznic.
20 Ca(R) un vis la deşteptare,
aşa le lepezi chipul, Doamne, la(S) deşteptarea Ta!
21 Când mi se(T) amăra inima
şi mă simţeam străpuns în măruntaie,
22 eram prost(U) şi fără judecată,
eram ca un dobitoc înaintea Ta.
23 Însă eu sunt totdeauna cu Tine,
Tu m-ai apucat de mâna dreaptă;
24 mă vei călăuzi(V) cu sfatul Tău,
apoi mă vei primi în slavă.
25 Pe(W) cine altul am eu în cer afară de Tine?
Şi pe pământ nu-mi găsesc plăcerea în nimeni decât în Tine.
26 Carnea(X) şi inima pot să mi se prăpădească,
fiindcă Dumnezeu va fi pururea stânca inimii mele şi partea(Y) mea de moştenire.
27 Căci iată că cei ce(Z) se depărtează de Tine pier;
Tu nimiceşti pe toţi cei ce-Ţi sunt necredincioşi(AA).
28 Cât pentru mine, fericirea mea este să mă apropii(AB) de Dumnezeu:
pe Domnul, Dumnezeu, Îl fac locul meu de adăpost,
ca să povestesc toate lucrările Tale.

Psalm 73
A psalm of Asaph.
1 Surely God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.(A)
2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;(B)
I had nearly lost my foothold.(C)
3 For I envied(D) the arrogant
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.(E)
4 They have no struggles;
their bodies are healthy and strong.[a]
5 They are free(F) from common human burdens;
they are not plagued by human ills.
6 Therefore pride(G) is their necklace;(H)
they clothe themselves with violence.(I)
7 From their callous hearts(J) comes iniquity[b];
their evil imaginations have no limits.
8 They scoff, and speak with malice;(K)
with arrogance(L) they threaten oppression.(M)
9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven,
and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Therefore their people turn to them
and drink up waters in abundance.[c]
11 They say, “How would God know?
Does the Most High know anything?”
13 Surely in vain(P) I have kept my heart pure
and have washed my hands in innocence.(Q)
14 All day long I have been afflicted,(R)
and every morning brings new punishments.
15 If I had spoken out like that,
I would have betrayed your children.
16 When I tried to understand(S) all this,
it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the sanctuary(T) of God;
then I understood their final destiny.(U)
18 Surely you place them on slippery ground;(V)
you cast them down to ruin.(W)
19 How suddenly(X) are they destroyed,
completely swept away(Y) by terrors!
20 They are like a dream(Z) when one awakes;(AA)
when you arise, Lord,
you will despise them as fantasies.(AB)
21 When my heart was grieved
and my spirit embittered,
22 I was senseless(AC) and ignorant;
I was a brute beast(AD) before you.
23 Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.(AE)
24 You guide(AF) me with your counsel,(AG)
and afterward you will take me into glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?(AH)
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.(AI)
26 My flesh and my heart(AJ) may fail,(AK)
but God is the strength(AL) of my heart
and my portion(AM) forever.

2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.
