69 За първия певец. По мелодията на Шошаним. [a] Псалом на Давид.
2 (A)[b] Боже, спаси ме!
Водите стигнаха до шията ми.
3 Затънах в дълбоко тресавище и няма твърда почва.
Навлязох в дълбочините на водата и вълните ме покриват.
4 Изнемощях от викане, гласът ми пресипна;
очите ми се помрачиха от чакане на Бога.
5 (B)Онези, които ме мразят без причина, са повече от космите на моята глава.
Укрепнаха моите врагове, които искат да ме унищожат несправедливо.
Трябва да върна онова, което не съм отнемал.
6 Боже, Ти познаваш безумието ми
и моите грехове не са скрити от Тебе.
7 Господи, Боже Вседържителю, нека не се посрамят заради мене онези, които се надяват на Тебе!
Да не се посрамят заради мене онези, които търсят Тебе, Боже Израилев.
8 (C)Защото заради Тебе понасям хули.
Безчестие покрива лицето ми.
9 (D)Станах чужд за братята си
и чужденец за децата на своята майка,
10 (E)защото ревността за Твоя дом ме изяде
и хулите на онези, които Те хулят, паднаха върху мене.
11 Когато душата ми плаче в пост,
хулите на онези, които Те хулят, падат върху мене.
12 Когато навличах вретище като дреха,
им станах за присмех.
13 Онези, които седят при портите, говорят за мене,
пеят за мене в пиянски сбирки.
14 (F)Но аз се обръщам към Тебе в молитвата си, Господи.
Боже, отговори ми в благоприятно време заради голямата Си милост,
според истината за Твоето спасение.
15 Избави ме от тресавището, за да не потъна,
но да се избавя от своите врагове и от дълбоките води.
16 Нека водите да не ме залеят
и бездната да не ме погълне,
и пропастта да не затвори устата си над мене.
17 Чуй ме, Господи, защото Твоята милост е блага.
Обърни се към мене заради голямата Си милост.
18 (G)Не скривай лицето Си от Своя служител,
защото съм в беда, послушай ме!
19 Приближи се към душата ми! Избави я!
Освободи ме от моите врагове.
20 Ти знаеш упрека към мене,
моя срам и моето безчестие;
всичките ми врагове са пред Тебе.
21 Присмех съкруши сърцето ми и съм отчаян;
очаквах състрадание, но няма;
и утешители, но не намерих.
22 А ми дадоха жлъчка за храна
и в моята жажда ме напоиха с оцет.
23 (H)Нека тяхната трапеза бъде примка пред лицето им
и мирните трапези – за примамка.
24 Нека да се помрачат очите им, за да не виждат.
И нека слабините им да треперят постоянно!
25 Излей негодуванието Си върху тях
и пламъкът на гнева Ти нека ги постигне!
26 (I)Жилището им да запустее
и в шатрите им да няма кой да живее,
27 защото те преследват онзи, когото Ти си поразил,
и умножават болката на онези, които Ти си наранил.
28 Прибави беззаконие към тяхното беззаконие
и нека те да не влязат в Твоята правда.
29 (J)Да бъдат заличени от книгата на живите
и да не бъдат записани с праведните.
30 Но аз съм беден и отчаян, Боже,
въздигни ме и ме спаси!
31 (K)Ще прославям името на своя Бог в песен,
ще го превъзнасям с благодарност.
32 (L)И това ще допадне повече на Господа,
отколкото жертвен вол или телец с рога и копита.
33 (M)Потиснатите ще видят това и ще се зарадват;
и на вас, които търсите Бога, сърцето ви ще се съживи,
34 защото Господ слуша бедните
и не пренебрегва Своите затворници.
35 Нека Го прославят небесата и земята,
моретата и всичко, което се движи в тях.
36 (N)Защото Бог ще спаси Сион и ще изгради градовете на Юдея,
и ще се заселят там и ще го притежават.
37 (O)Потомството на служителите Му ще го наследи.

2 Потъвам в дълбока тиня, гдето няма твърдо място да застана; Стигнах в дълбоки води, гдето потопът ме покрива.
3 Изнемогвам от викане; гърлото ми е изсъхнало; Очите ми чезнат, докато чакам моя Бог.
4 Тия, които ме мразят без причина, се умножиха повече от космите на главата ми; Укрепиха се моите погубители, които неправедно са мои неприятели; Тогава ме <заставиха> да върна онова, което не бях грабнал.
5 Боже, Ти знаеш безумието ми; И прегрешенията ми не са скрити от Тебе.
6 Господи Иеова на Силите, да се не посрамят покрай мене ония, които Те чакат; Боже Израилев, да се не опозорят покрай мене ония, които Те търсят.
7 Защото заради Тебе претърпях поругание. Срам покри лицето ми.
8 Чужд станах на братята си, И странен на чадата на майка ми.
9 Защото ревността за Твоя дом ме изяде, И укорите на ония, които укоряват Тебе, паднаха върху мене.
10 Когато плачех в душата си с пост, Това ми стана за укор;
11 Когато облякох вретище за дреха, Станах им за поговорка.
12 За мене приказват седящите в портата; И <аз станах> песен на пияниците.
13 Но аз към Тебе <отправям> молитвата си, Господи, в благоприятно време; Боже, послушай ме според голямата Твоя милост, Според верността на Твоето спасение.
14 Избави ме от тинята, за да не потъна; Нека бъда избавен от ония, които ме мразят, и от дълбоките води.
15 Не дай да ме завлече устрема на водите, Нито да ме погълне дълбочината; И не дай да затвори ямата устието си над мене.
16 Послушай ме, Господи, защото е благо Твоето милосърдие; Според много Твои благи милости погледни на мене;
17 И не скривай лицето Си от слугата Си, Понеже съм в утеснение; бърже ме послушай.
18 Приближи се при душата ми и я изкупи; Изкупи ме поради неприятелите ми.
19 Ти знаеш как ме укоряват, Как ме посрамват и ме опозоряват; Пред Тебе са всичките мои противници.
20 Укор съкруши сърцето ми, и съм много отпаднал; И чаках да ме пожали някой, но нямаше никой, - И утешители, но не намерих.
21 И дадоха ми жлъчка за ядене, И в жаждата ми ме напоиха с оцет.
22 Трапезата им пред тях нека <им> стане примка, И когато са на мир <нека стане> клопка.
23 Да се помрачат очите им та да не видят; И чреслата им направи непрестанно да се тресат.
24 Излей на тях негодуванието Си; И пламъкът на гнева Ти нека ги постигне.
25 Жилището им да запустее, И в шатрите им да няма кой да живее.
26 Защото те гонят онзи, когото Ти си поразил, И говорят за болката на ония, които Ти си наранил.
27 Приложи беззаконие на беззаконието им; И да не участвуват {Еврейски: Влязат.} в Твоята правда.
28 Да се изличат от книгата на живота, И с праведните да се не запишат.
29 А мене, <който> съм сиромах и оскърбен, Да ме възвиши, Боже, Твоето спасение.
30 Ще хваля името на Бога с песен, И ще Го възвелича с хваления;
31 И това ще угоди Господу Повече от вол, - от юнец имащ рога <и> копита.
32 Смирените ще видят и ще се зарадват; И вие, които търсите Бога, вашето сърце ще се съживи.
33 Защото Господ слуша немощните, И запрените Си не презира.
34 Нека Го хвалят небето и земята, Моретата, и всичко, което се движи в тях.
35 Защото Бог ще избави Сиона, и ще съгради Юдовите градове; И <людете Му> ще се заселят там, и ще го владеят.
36 Още и потомството на слугите Му ще го наследи, И ония, които обичат името Му, ще живеят в него.

69 Sálvame, oh Dios,
Porque las aguas han entrado hasta el alma.
2 Estoy hundido en cieno profundo, donde no puedo hacer pie;
He venido a abismos de aguas, y la corriente me ha anegado.
3 Cansado estoy de llamar; mi garganta se ha enronquecido;
Han desfallecido mis ojos esperando a mi Dios.
4 Se han aumentado más que los cabellos de mi cabeza los que me aborrecen sin causa;(A)
Se han hecho poderosos mis enemigos, los que me destruyen sin tener por qué.
¿Y he de pagar lo que no robé?
5 Dios, tú conoces mi insensatez,
Y mis pecados no te son ocultos.
6 No sean avergonzados por causa mía los que en ti confían, oh Señor Jehová de los ejércitos;
No sean confundidos por mí los que te buscan, oh Dios de Israel.
7 Porque por amor de ti he sufrido afrenta;
Confusión ha cubierto mi rostro.
8 Extraño he sido para mis hermanos,
Y desconocido para los hijos de mi madre.
9 Porque me consumió el celo de tu casa;(B)
Y los denuestos de los que te vituperaban cayeron sobre mí.(C)
10 Lloré afligiendo con ayuno mi alma,
Y esto me ha sido por afrenta.
11 Puse además cilicio por mi vestido,
Y vine a serles por proverbio.
12 Hablaban contra mí los que se sentaban a la puerta,
Y me zaherían en sus canciones los bebedores.
13 Pero yo a ti oraba, oh Jehová, al tiempo de tu buena voluntad;
Oh Dios, por la abundancia de tu misericordia,
Por la verdad de tu salvación, escúchame.
14 Sácame del lodo, y no sea yo sumergido;
Sea yo libertado de los que me aborrecen, y de lo profundo de las aguas.
15 No me anegue la corriente de las aguas,
Ni me trague el abismo,
Ni el pozo cierre sobre mí su boca.
16 Respóndeme, Jehová, porque benigna es tu misericordia;
Mírame conforme a la multitud de tus piedades.
17 No escondas de tu siervo tu rostro,
Porque estoy angustiado; apresúrate, óyeme.
18 Acércate a mi alma, redímela;
Líbrame a causa de mis enemigos.
19 Tú sabes mi afrenta, mi confusión y mi oprobio;
Delante de ti están todos mis adversarios.
20 El escarnio ha quebrantado mi corazón, y estoy acongojado.
Esperé quien se compadeciese de mí, y no lo hubo;
Y consoladores, y ninguno hallé.
21 Me pusieron además hiel por comida,
Y en mi sed me dieron a beber vinagre.(D)
22 Sea su convite delante de ellos por lazo,
Y lo que es para bien, por tropiezo.
23 Sean oscurecidos sus ojos para que no vean,
Y haz temblar continuamente sus lomos.(E)
24 Derrama sobre ellos tu ira,
Y el furor de tu enojo los alcance.
25 Sea su palacio asolado;
En sus tiendas no haya morador.(F)
26 Porque persiguieron al que tú heriste,
Y cuentan del dolor de los que tú llagaste.
27 Pon maldad sobre su maldad,
Y no entren en tu justicia.
28 Sean raídos del libro de los vivientes,(G)
Y no sean escritos entre los justos.
29 Mas a mí, afligido y miserable,
Tu salvación, oh Dios, me ponga en alto.
30 Alabaré yo el nombre de Dios con cántico,
Lo exaltaré con alabanza.
31 Y agradará a Jehová más que sacrificio de buey,
O becerro que tiene cuernos y pezuñas;
32 Lo verán los oprimidos, y se gozarán.
Buscad a Dios, y vivirá vuestro corazón,
33 Porque Jehová oye a los menesterosos,
Y no menosprecia a sus prisioneros.
34 Alábenle los cielos y la tierra,
Los mares, y todo lo que se mueve en ellos.
35 Porque Dios salvará a Sion, y reedificará las ciudades de Judá;
Y habitarán allí, y la poseerán.
36 La descendencia de sus siervos la heredará,
Y los que aman su nombre habitarán en ella.

69 Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
6 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
11 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
12 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
16 Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
17 And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
19 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31 This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
33 For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
34 Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
35 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.
36 The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

1 Save me, O God,
for the waters(A) have come up to my neck.(B)
2 I sink in the miry depths,(C)
where there is no foothold.
I have come into the deep waters;
the floods engulf me.
3 I am worn out calling for help;(D)
my throat is parched.
My eyes fail,(E)
looking for my God.
4 Those who hate me(F) without reason(G)
outnumber the hairs of my head;
many are my enemies without cause,(H)
those who seek to destroy me.(I)
I am forced to restore
what I did not steal.
6 Lord, the Lord Almighty,
may those who hope in you
not be disgraced because of me;
God of Israel,
may those who seek you
not be put to shame because of me.
7 For I endure scorn(L) for your sake,(M)
and shame covers my face.(N)
8 I am a foreigner to my own family,
a stranger to my own mother’s children;(O)
9 for zeal for your house consumes me,(P)
and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.(Q)
10 When I weep and fast,(R)
I must endure scorn;
11 when I put on sackcloth,(S)
people make sport of me.

22 May the table set before them become a snare;

24 Pour out your wrath(AN) on them;
let your fierce anger overtake them.
25 May their place be deserted;(AO)
let there be no one to dwell in their tents.(AP)
26 For they persecute those you wound
and talk about the pain of those you hurt.(AQ)
27 Charge them with crime upon crime;(AR)
do not let them share in your salvation.(AS)
28 May they be blotted out of the book of life(AT)
and not be listed with the righteous.(AU)
29 But as for me, afflicted and in pain—
may your salvation, God, protect me.(AV)
