64 Для дириґетна хору. Псалом Давидів. (64-2) Вислухай, Боже, мій голос, як скаржуся я, від страху ворожого душу мою хорони!
2 (64-3) Заховай мене від потаємного збору злочинців, від крику свавільців,
3 (64-4) які нагострили свого язика, як меча, натягнули стрілу свою словом гірким,
4 (64-5) щоб таємно стріляти в невинного, вони нагло стрілятимуть в нього, і не будуть боятись!...
5 (64-6) У злій справі зміцняють себе, змовляються пастки таємно розставити, кажуть: Хто буде їх бачити?
6 (64-7) Вони кривди ховають... Загинемо, як задум їхній сповниться, бо нутро чоловіка та серце глибоке!
7 (64-8) Але вчинить Бог, що стріла на них стрілить, і нагло поранені будуть,
8 (64-9) і вчинить, що їхній язик допадеться до них, і будуть хитати головою усі, хто спогляне на них!...
9 (64-10) і всі люди боятися будуть, і будуть розказувати про чин Бога, і діло Його зрозуміють!
10 (64-11) і праведний Господом буде радіти, і буде вдаватись до Нього, і будуть похвалені всі простосерді!

لِقَائِدِ المُرَنِّمِينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ.
64 اسْمَعنِي يَا اللهُ عِنْدَمَا أتَكَلَّمُ!
احمِنِي مِنْ تَهْدِيدَاتِ عَدُوِّي.
2 خَبِّئنِي مِنْ مُؤَامَرَاتِ الأشْرَارِ.
وَمِنْ مَكَائِدِهِمِ احفَظنِي.
3 ألسِنَتُهُمْ مَاضِيَةٌ كَالسُّيُوفِ.
وَكَلِمَاتُهُمُ الحَاقِدَةُ كَالقَوسِ المُعَدَّةِ لِلإطلَاقِ.
4 وَفَجْأةً وَدُونَ خِشيَةٍ،
يُطلِقُونَ السَّهمَ مِنْ مَخبَإهِمْ.
وَيُصِيبُونَ الإنْسَانَ المُسْتَقِيمَ.
5 بِكَلِمَاتٍ شِرِّيرَةٍ يُشَجِّعُونَ أحَدُهُمُ الآخَرَ.
يَتَحَدَّثُونَ عَنْ نَصبِ المَصَائِدِ.
وَيَقُولُونَ:
«لَنْ يَرَاهَا أحَدٌ!»
6 أخْفَوْا مَصَائِدَهُمُ المُحكَمَةَ.
وَهُمْ يَبْحَثُونَ عَنْ ضَحَايَا.
دَوَاخِلُ الإنْسَانِ عَمِيقَةٌ،
وَكَذَلِكَ قَلْبُهُ.
7 غَيْرَ أنَّ اللهَ أيْضًا يَرْمِي سِهَامَهُ!
فَيَضْرِبُ الأعْدَاءَ فَجْأةً.
8 يَقْدِرُ أنْ يُوقِعَهُمْ فِي مَصَائِدِهِمْ وَخُطَطِهِمْ.
كُلُّ مَنْ يَرَاهُمْ يَهُزُّ رَأسَهُ مُتَعَجِّبًا.
9 ثُمَّ يَرَى الجَمِيعُ مَا حَدَثَ،
وَيُخبِرُونَ بِمَا صَنَعَ اللهُ.
وَيُعَلِّمُونَ الآخَرِينَ عَنْ أعْمَالِهِ العَظِيمَةِ.
10 لِيَبْتَهِجِ البَارُّ بِاللهِ،
وَلْيَحْتَمِ بِهِ.
لِيَتَهَلَّلْ ذُو القَلْبِ المُسْتَقِيمِ.

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
2 Hide me from the conspiracy(C) of the wicked,(D)
from the plots of evildoers.
3 They sharpen their tongues like swords(E)
and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.(F)
4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent;(G)
they shoot suddenly, without fear.(H)
5 They encourage each other in evil plans,
they talk about hiding their snares;(I)
they say, “Who will see it[b]?”(J)
6 They plot injustice and say,
“We have devised a perfect plan!”
Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

64 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
