63 Псалом на Давид, когато беше в юдейската пустиня.
2 (A)[a] Боже, Ти си мой Бог! Търся Те от ранни зори.
Душата ми жадува за Тебе, плътта ми чезне за Тебе
като земя пуста, суха и безводна.
3 Затова аз Те съзерцавах в светилището,
за да видя Твоята сила и слава,
4 защото Твоята милост е по-добра от живота.
Затова моите устни ще Те прославят.
5 Така ще Ти благодаря, докато съм жив.
В Твое име ще вдигам ръцете си с упование.
6 Както добра храна ме насища, така
и моята уста с радостни устни ще Те прославя.
7 Мисля за Тебе през нощните часове,
когато си спомням за Тебе в леглото си.
8 Защото Ти си моят помощник
и под сянката на Твоите криле ще се радвам.
9 Моята душа се привърза към Тебе;
Твоята десница ме поддържа.
10 А които искат да погубят живота ми,
ще слязат в дълбините на земята.
11 Ще бъдат съсипани със силата на меча,
ще станат плячка на чакали.
12 (B)А царят ще се зарадва заради Божието дело;
ще бъде възхвален всеки, който се кълне в Него,
защото ще се затворят устата на лъжците.

Psalm 63
1 A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
2 O God, You are my God,
earnestly I seek You.
My soul thirsts for You.
My flesh longs for You
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
3 So, I looked for You in the Sanctuary,
to see Your power and Your glory.
4 Since Your lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips will praise You.
5 So I will bless You as long as I live.
In Your name I lift up my hands.[a]
6 My soul is satisfied as with fat and oil,
so my mouth praises You with joyful lips.
7 When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You through the night watches.
8 For You have been my help,
and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
9 My soul clings to You—
Your right hand upholds me.
10 But those who seek my soul to destroy it
will go down to the depths of the earth.
11 They will be gutted by the sword,
and become a prey for jackals.
12 But the king will rejoice in God.
All who swear by Him will boast,
when the mouth speaking lies is shut.

63 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

1 You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,(A)
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.(B)
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary(C)
and beheld your power and your glory.(D)
3 Because your love is better than life,(E)
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,(F)
and in your name I will lift up my hands.(G)
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;(H)
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.(I)
7 Because you are my help,(J)
I sing in the shadow of your wings.(K)
8 I cling to you;(L)
