58 (По слав. 57). За първия певец, по не разорявай. Давидова песен. Наистина с мълчание ли изказвате правда? Праведно ли съдите, човешки синове?
2 Не! в сърцето си вие вършите неправди. Размервате насилието на ръцете си по земята.
3 Още от раждането си нечестивите се отстраняват; Заблуждават, говорейки лъжи, щом се родят
4 Ядът им е като змийска отрова; Прилича на глухия аспид, който затиква ушите си,
5 И не ще да чуе гласа на омайвачите, Колкото изкусно и да омайват.
6 Боже, счупи зъбите им в устата им; Господи, строши челюстите на младите лъвове.
7 Нека се излеят като води що оттичат; Когато прицелва стрелите си, нека бъдат като разсечени.
8 Нека изчезнат като охлюв, който се разтопява; Като пометниче на жена, нека не видят слънцето.
9 Преди да усетят котлите ви огъня от тръните, Сурови или обгорели, Той ще ги помете с вихрушка.
10 Праведният ще се зарадва когато види възмездието; Ще измие нозете си в кръвта на нечестивия;
11 Тъй щото всеки ще казва: Наистина има награда за праведния; Наистина има Бог, Който съди земята.

The Just Judgment of the Wicked
To the Chief Musician. Set to [a]“Do Not Destroy.” A Michtam of David.
58 Do you indeed speak righteousness, you silent ones?
Do you judge uprightly, you sons of men?
2 No, in heart you work wickedness;
You weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.
3 (A)The wicked are estranged from the womb;
They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
4 (B)Their poison is like the poison of a serpent;
They are like the deaf cobra that stops its ear,
5 Which will not (C)heed the voice of charmers,
Charming ever so skillfully.
6 (D)Break[b] their teeth in their mouth, O God!
Break out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord!
7 (E)Let them flow away as waters which run continually;
When he bends his bow,
Let his arrows be as if cut in pieces.
8 Let them be like a snail which melts away as it goes,
(F)Like a stillborn child of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
9 Before your (G)pots can feel the burning thorns,
He shall take them away (H)as with a whirlwind,
As in His living and burning wrath.
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the (I)vengeance;
(J)He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,
11 (K)So that men will say,
“Surely there is a reward for the righteous;
Surely He is God who (L)judges in the earth.”

ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଲ୍-ତଶ୍ହେତ୍ ସ୍ୱରରେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ; ମିକ୍ତାମ୍।
58 ବିଗ୍ଭରକଗଣ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଭାବରେ କୁହ କି?
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଧର୍ମ ବିଗ୍ଭର କର କି?
2 ନା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେବଳ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଛ।
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିଜେ ଏହି ଦେଶରେ ଅପରାଧ କରୁଛି।
3 ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଜନ୍ମ ହେବା ମାତ୍ରେ ବିପଥଗାମୀ।
ସେମାନେ ଜନ୍ମଠାରୁ ମିଥ୍ୟାବାଦୀ।
4 ସେମାନଙ୍କର କ୍ରୋଧ ସର୍ପର ବିଷତୁଲ୍ୟ ବିପଦପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ।
ଆଉ ନାଗସାପ ପରି ଯିଏ ଶୁଣିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନେ ସତ କଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ବାରଣ କରନ୍ତି।
5 ସାପୁଆକେଳାମାନଙ୍କର ବାଦ୍ୟ କିଅବା ଗୀତକୁ ନାଗସାପ ଶୁଣି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
ଆଉ ସେହି ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକମାନେ ସେହିପରି, ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ମନ୍ଦ ଯୋଜନା କରନ୍ତି।
6 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ସେହି ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଂହ ପରି।
ତେଣୁ ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଦାନ୍ତସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦିଅ।
7 ସେମାନେ ବହନ୍ତା ଜଳପରି ଅନ୍ତର୍ଦ୍ଧାନ ହୋଇ ଯାଆନ୍ତୁ।
ରାସ୍ତାର ଘାସ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ପଦଦଳିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।
8 ଶାମୁକା ଗତି କଲାବେଳେ ତରଳି ଯିବା ପରି ସେମାନେ ତରଳି ଯାଆନ୍ତୁ।
ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟାଲୋକ ଦେଖି ନ ଥିବା ମୃତବସ୍ଥାରେ ଜନ୍ମଲାଭ କରିଥିବା ସନ୍ତାନ ପରି ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।
9 ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତା କଣ୍ଟା ହାଣ୍ଡିକୁ ଗଲାପରି
ସେମାନେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଧ୍ୱଂସ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
10 ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଯେତେବେଳେ
ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହେବାର ଦେଖେ, ସେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେବ।
11 ଯେତେବେଳେ ଏପରି ଘଟେ, ଲୋକମାନେ କହିବେ, “ଏଣୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯାହା ଧାର୍ମିକ ତାହା କରନ୍ତି, ସତରେ ପୁରସ୍କୃତ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
ସତରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯିଏ ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରନ୍ତି।”

For the director of music. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” Of David. A miktam.[b]
1 Do you rulers indeed speak justly?(A)
Do you judge people with equity?
2 No, in your heart you devise injustice,(B)
and your hands mete out violence on the earth.(C)
3 Even from birth the wicked go astray;
from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.
4 Their venom is like the venom of a snake,(D)
like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,
5 that will not heed(E) the tune of the charmer,(F)
however skillful the enchanter may be.
6 Break the teeth in their mouths, O God;(G)
Lord, tear out the fangs of those lions!(H)
7 Let them vanish like water that flows away;(I)
when they draw the bow, let their arrows fall short.(J)
8 May they be like a slug that melts away as it moves along,(K)
like a stillborn child(L) that never sees the sun.
9 Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns(M)—
whether they be green or dry—the wicked will be swept away.[c](N)
10 The righteous will be glad(O) when they are avenged,(P)
when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.(Q)
11 Then people will say,
“Surely the righteous still are rewarded;(R)
surely there is a God who judges the earth.”(S)
