53 Для диригента. Для магалату[a]. Маскіль Давида.
2 Пустоголові думають, що немає Бога!
Вони—руйнівники,
які чинять зло і не творять добра.
3 Господь людей спостерігає із Небес
й шукає мудрих Він,
тих хто за порадою звертається до Бога.
4 Але ж вони всі відвернулися від Бога,
усі зіпсовані, жоден не творить добра!
5 Зловмисники народ мій нищать,
так наче просто трапезують.
Вони й не намагалися збагнути, чого бажає Бог.
6 Та тих зловмисників чатує переляк,
якого вони досі і не знали.
Відкинув Бог поган лихих від Себе,
Він їхні кістяки порозкидає,
на їхні голови впаде ганьба.
7 Хто дасть Ізраїлю спасіння?
Воно прийде з гори Сіон,
коли народ Свій полонений Бог поверне.
Тоді Яків радітиме й щасливий Ізраїль буде.

Psalm 53
King James Version
53 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

International Children’s Bible
The Unbelieving Fool
For the director of music. By mahalath. A maskil of David.
53 A wicked fool says to himself,
“There is no God.”
Fools are evil. They do terrible things.
None of them does anything good.
2 God looked down from heaven at all the people.
He looked to see if anyone was wise,
if anyone was looking to God for help.
3 But everyone has turned away.
Together, everyone has become evil.
None of them does anything good.
4 Don’t the wicked understand?
They destroy my people as if they were eating bread.
They have not asked God for help.
5 The wicked became filled with terror
where there had been nothing to be terrified of.
God will scatter the bones of your enemies.
You will defeat them,
because God has rejected them.
6 I pray that victory will come to Israel from Mount Zion!
May God give them back their riches.
Then the people of Jacob will rejoice.
And the people of Israel will be glad.

Necedad y maldad de los hombres
Para el director del coro; según Mahalat[a]. Masquil[b] de David.
53 (A)El necio ha dicho en su corazón: No hay Dios.
Se han corrompido, han cometido injusticias abominables;
no hay quien haga el bien(B).
2 Dios ha mirado desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres
para ver si hay alguno que entienda[c],
alguno que busque a Dios(C).
3 Todos se han desviado, a una se han corrompido;
no hay quien haga el bien, no hay ni siquiera uno(D).
4 ¿No tienen conocimiento los que hacen iniquidad(E),
que devoran a mi pueblo como si comieran pan,
y no invocan a Dios?
5 Donde antes no había terror, allí tiemblan de espanto(F),
porque Dios esparció los huesos del que acampaba[d] contra ti(G);
tú los avergonzaste(H), porque Dios los había rechazado(I).
6 ¡Oh, si de Sión saliera la salvación de Israel!
Cuando Dios restaure a su pueblo cautivo[e],
se regocijará Jacob y se alegrará Israel(J).
