Давидов Псалам.
101 О милости и о правди певам!
Ја теби, Господе, певам похвале.
2 Предаћу се путу беспрекорном!
Када ћеш ми доћи?
У честитости срца свога
живећу у свом дому.
3 Ствари гнусне
не стављам пред очи своје;
отпадничке ствари мрзим,
на њих не пристајем!
4 Ништа немам с подлацима
и за зло нећу да знам.
5 Ко свог ближњег иза леђа оцрњује,
ја тога сатирем;
ко је пркосног погледа и надменог срца,
ја тога не трпим.
6 Моје су очи на вернима у земљи
да би са мном боравили;
нек ми служи онај
који иде путем беспрекорним.
7 У мом дому места
нема за препредењака,
пред очима мојим лажов
потрајати неће.
8 Из јутра у јутро сатирем
све неверне из земље,
све злотворе истребљујем
из Господњег града.

Promised Faithfulness to the Lord
A Psalm of David.
101 I will sing of mercy and justice;
To You, O Lord, I will sing praises.
2 I will behave wisely in a [a]perfect way.
Oh, when will You come to me?
I will (A)walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3 I will set nothing [b]wicked before my eyes;
(B)I hate the work of those (C)who fall away;
It shall not cling to me.
4 A perverse heart shall depart from me;
I will not (D)know wickedness.
5 Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor,
Him I will destroy;
(E)The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart,
Him I will not endure.
6 My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land,
That they may dwell with me;
He who walks in a [c]perfect way,
He shall serve me.
7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house;
He who tells lies shall not [d]continue in my presence.
8 (F)Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land,
That I may cut off all the evildoers (G)from the city of the Lord.

1 I will sing of your love(A) and justice;
to you, Lord, I will sing praise.
2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life(B)—
when will you come to me?
I will conduct the affairs(C) of my house
with a blameless heart.
3 I will not look with approval
on anything that is vile.(D)
I hate what faithless people do;(E)
I will have no part in it.
4 The perverse of heart(F) shall be far from me;
I will have nothing to do with what is evil.
5 Whoever slanders their neighbor(G) in secret,
I will put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes(H) and a proud heart,
I will not tolerate.
6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
the one whose walk is blameless(I)
will minister to me.
7 No one who practices deceit
will dwell in my house;
no one who speaks falsely
will stand in my presence.
