1 (A)(B)Блажен е човек, който не отива на сбирки на нечестивите,
не ходи по пътя на грешници
и не седи в събранието на беззаконници,
2 (C)но му е приятно да се подчинява на закона на Господа
и размишлява върху него ден и нощ.
3 (D)И той ще бъде като дърво, посадено край водни пътища,
което дава своя плод навреме
и чийто лист не вехне.
И той ще успее във всичко, което върши.
4 (E)Не е така с нечестивите.
Защото те са като плявата, отвявана от вятъра.
5 Затова нечестивите няма да устоят пред съд,
нито грешните – в събрание на праведните.
6 Да, Господ одобрява пътя на праведните,
а пътят на нечестивите ще ги провали.

Dalawang Uri ng Pamumuhay
1 Mapalad ang taong
hindi lumalakad sa payo ng masama,
ni tumatayo man sa daan ng mga makasalanan,
ni umuupo man sa upuan ng mga manunuya;
2 kundi nasa kautusan ng Panginoon ang kanyang kagalakan,
at nagbubulay-bulay araw at gabi sa kanyang kautusan.
3 Siya ay(A) gaya ng isang punungkahoy
na itinanim sa tabi ng agos ng tubig,
na nagbubunga sa kanyang kapanahunan,
ang kanyang dahon nama'y hindi nalalanta,
sa lahat ng kanyang ginagawa ay nagtatagumpay siya.
4 Ang masama ay hindi gayon;
kundi parang ipang itinataboy ng hangin.
5 Kaya't ang masama ay hindi tatayo sa hukuman,
ni sa kapulungan ng matuwid ang makasalanan;
6 sapagkat ang lakad ng matuwid ang Panginoon ang nakakaalam,
ngunit mapapahamak ang lakad ng makasalanan.

1 Blessed is the one(A)
who does not walk(B) in step with the wicked(C)
or stand in the way(D) that sinners take(E)
or sit(F) in the company of mockers,(G)
2 but whose delight(H) is in the law of the Lord,(I)
and who meditates(J) on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree(K) planted by streams(L) of water,(M)
which yields its fruit(N) in season
and whose leaf(O) does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.(P)

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
