14 Всяка мъдра жена съгражда дома си, А безумната го събаря със собствените си ръце.
2 Който ходи в правотата си, бои се от Господа: Но опакият в пътищата си Го презира.
3 В устата на безумния има пръчка за гордостта му , А устните на мъдрите ще ги пазят.
4 Дето няма волове, яслите са чисти, Но в силата на воловете е голямото изобилие.
5 Верният свидетел няма да лъже, А лъжливият свидетел издиша лъжи.
6 Присмивателят търси мъдрост и нея намира, А за разумният учението е лесно.
7 Отмини безумния човек Щом си узнал, че той няма разумни устни.
8 Мъдростта на благоразумния е да обмисля пътя си, А глупостта на безумните е да заблуждават.
9 Приносът за грях се присмива на безумните, А между праведните има Божие благоволение.
10 Сърцето познава своята си горест И чужд не участвува в неговата радост.
11 Къщата на нечестивите ще се събори, Но шатърът на праведните ще благоденствува.
12 Има път, който се вижда прав на човека, Но краят му е пътища към смърт.
13 Даже и всред смеха сърцето си има болката, И краят на веселието е тегота.
14 Развратният по сърце ще се насити от своите пътища, А добрият човек ще се насити от себе си.
15 Простият вярва всяка дума, А благоразумният внимава добре в стъпките си.
16 Мъдрият се бои и се отклонява от злото, А безумният самонадеяно се хвърля напред.
17 Ядовитият човек постъпва несмислено, И зломисленикът е мразен.
18 Безумниите наследяват глупост, А благоразумните се увенчават със знание.
19 Злите се кланят пред добрите, И нечестивите при портите на праведния,
20 Сиромахът е мразен даже от ближния си, А на богатия приятелите са много.
21 Който презира ближния си, съгрешава, А който показва милост към сиромасите е блажен.
22 Не заблуждават ли се ония, които измислят зло? Но милост и верност ще се покажат към тия, които измислят добро
23 От всеки труд има полза, А от бъбренето с устните само оскъдност.
24 Богатството на мъдрите е венец за тях, А глупостта на безумните е всякога глупост.
25 Верният свидетел избавя души, А който издиша лъжи е цял измама.
26 В страха от Господа има силна увереност, И Неговите чада ще имат прибежище.
27 Страхът от Господа е извор на живот, За да се отдалечава човек от примките на смъртта,
28 Когато людете са многочислени, слава е за царя, А когато людете са малочислени, съсипване е за княза.
29 Който не се гневи скоро, показва голямо благоразумие, А който лесно се гневи проявява безумие.
30 Тихо сърце е живот на тялото, А разяреността е гнилост на костите.
31 Който угнетява бедния нанася укор на Създателя му, А който е милостив към сиромаха показва почит Нему.
32 Нечестивият е смазан във време на бедствитето си, А праведният и в смъртта си име упование.
33 В сърцето на разумния мъдростта почива, А между безумните тя се явява.
34 Правдата възвишава народ, А грехът е позор за племената.
35 Благоволението на царя е към разумния слуга, А яростта му против онзи, който докарва срам.

Полза от справедливостта за народа
14 (A)Мъдрата жена съгражда дома си, а глупавата го съсипва с ръцете си.
2 Който се бои от Господа, ходи в правия път, а който е извратен в своя път, нехае за Него.
3 В устата на глупеца е пръчката на гордостта му, а устата на мъдрите ще ги пазят.
4 Където няма волове, яслите са празни, а чрез силата на вола идват големите добиви.
5 Истинният свидетел не лъже, а лъжливият свидетел пръска лъжа.
6 Необузданият търси мъдрост и не я намира, а за разумния знанието е лесно.
7 (B)Отмини от глупавия човек, у когото не забелязваш разумна уста.
8 Мъдростта на умния е да знае пътя си, а глупостта на неразумните е заблуда.
9 Глупците се присмиват над вината, а сред праведните има Божие благоволение.
10 Сърцето познава горчивината на живота си и чуждият човек не споделя радостта му.
11 (C)Къщата на нечестивите ще се съсипе, а шатрата на праведните ще преуспее.
12 (D)Има път, който изглежда прав на човека, а краят му е по пътищата на смъртта.
13 И при смях понякога сърцето боли; и краят на радостта може да бъде тъга.
14 Развратеният ще се насити на своите пътища, а добрият – на своите.
15 Глупавият вярва на всяка дума, а благоразумният внимава в своите стъпки.
16 Мъдрият се бои и се отклонява от злото, а глупавият е надменен и самонадеян.
17 (E)Сприхавият върши глупости, а който замисля зло, е омразен.
18 (F)Неразумният получава за свой дял глупост, а благоразумните се увенчават със знание.
19 Злите ще се преклонят пред добрите и нечестивите – при портите на праведника.
20 (G)Сиромахът е мразен дори от своите ближни, а мнозина обичат богатия.
21 (H)Който презира ближния си, съгрешава, а който проявява милост към бедните, е благословен.
22 Не се ли заблуждават онези, които замислят зло? Но към онези, които мислят добро, ще има милост и вярност.
23 От всеки труд има полза, а от празнословие има само вреда.
24 (I)Венец на мъдрите е богатството им, а глупостта на глупците си остава глупост.
25 (J)Истинният свидетел спасява живот, а който разпространява лъжи, носи измама.
26 В страха пред Господа има твърда увереност и Той ще бъде прибежище за Своите синове.
27 (K)Страхопочитанието пред Господа е извор на живот, отдалечава от мрежите на смъртта.
28 Многоброният народ е слава за царя, а малобройният народ е съсипия за княза.

14 En klok kvinna håller ordning i sitt hus och tänker på familjen, medan en oförnuftig kvinna förstör allting.
2 Den som gör det rätta ärar Herren. Den som syndar föraktar honom.
3 En dåres högfärd får honom att tala för mycket, men en förståndig människa tänker över vad hon ska säga.
4 Ett tomt stall förblir rent, men det ger heller ingen inkomst.
5 Ett sant vittne säger alltid sanningen. Ett falskt vittne har bara lögner att komma med.
6 En gycklare hittar aldrig den vishet han säger att han söker, men den förnuftige har ingen svårighet att finna den.
7 Om du vill ha råd ska du hålla dig borta från dårarna.
8 Den kloke kan urskilja den rätta vägen, men en dåre bedrar sig själv.
9 Dårarna har det gemensamt att de är likgiltiga inför synden. Över de gudfruktiga däremot vilar Guds välbehag.
10 Du kan inte dela dina innersta känslor med någon, både i den största glädje och i djupaste förtvivlan är du totalt ensam.
11 Den ogudaktiges hus kommer att rivas ner, men den gudfruktiges kommer att blomstra.
12 Fler än en tror sig ha funnit den rätta vägen, men är ändå på väg mot döden.
13 Skrattet kan inte dölja ett sorgset hjärta. När skrattet tar slut finns sorgen kvar.
14 Den som inte vill veta av Gud tycker allt är tråkigt. Den gudfruktiges liv däremot är spännande och rikt.
15 Bara den tanklöse tror allt han får höra! Den förståndige undersöker allt för att se vart det leder.
16 En vis man är försiktig och undviker faror. En dåre går rakt fram med stor självsäkerhet.
17 Den som har ett häftigt temperament gör många dumheter, och den som är listig blir hatad.
18 En oförståndig människa kan bara visa upp sin okunnighet, men en klok människa vinner anseende genom sitt kunnande.
19 Ogudaktiga människor ska få buga sig för de gudfruktiga och tjäna dem.
20 Till och med de fattigas egna grannar föraktar dem, medan de rika har många vänner.
21 Den som föraktar sina medmänniskor syndar. Lyckliga är de som känner medlidande med dem.
22 De som planerar ondska far vilse och går förlorade, men de som planerar det som är gott blir ansedda och respekterade.
23 Arbete ger välstånd, men tomt och meningslöst prat ger fattigdom!
24 Visa män lovordas för sin vishet, medan dårar blir föraktade för sin tanklöshet.
25 Ett vittne som berättar sanningen räddar oskyldiga människor från att dömas till döden, men ett falskt vittne är en förrädare.
26 Gudsfruktan gör att en människa kan känna sig trygg. Också hennes barn får växa upp i trygghet.
27 Den som fruktar Herren har funnit livets källa, och undviker många dödliga faror.
28 Ett stort och mäktigt folk är en kungs ära, men utan det är han ingenting.
29 En förståndig man kan behärska sitt temperament. Han vet att vrede bara orsakar misstag.
30 Den som är lugn och sansad, lever ett sunt liv. Avundsjuka däremot är som cancer.
31 De som förtrycker de fattiga förolämpar Gud, som skapade dem. Att hjälpa de fattiga är att ära Gud.
32 De gudfruktiga är trygga in i döden, men de ogudaktiga går under på grund av sin ondska.
33 Förnuftiga människor kännetecknas av vishet, till och med dårarna måste erkänna det.
34 Ett folk blir starkt av att följa Guds lagar, men synd är en skamfläck för vilket folk som helst.
35 En kung gläder sig över tjänare som vet vad de gör. Däremot straffar han dem som ställer till svårigheter.

14 The wise woman builds her house,(A)
but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
2 Whoever fears the Lord walks uprightly,
but those who despise him are devious in their ways.
4 Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty,
but from the strength of an ox(D) come abundant harvests.
5 An honest witness does not deceive,
but a false witness pours out lies.(E)
6 The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none,
but knowledge comes easily to the discerning.(F)
7 Stay away from a fool,
for you will not find knowledge on their lips.
8 The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways,(G)
but the folly of fools is deception.(H)
9 Fools mock at making amends for sin,
but goodwill is found among the upright.
10 Each heart knows its own bitterness,
and no one else can share its joy.
13 Even in laughter(M) the heart may ache,
and rejoicing may end in grief.
15 The simple believe anything,
but the prudent give thought to their steps.(P)
17 A quick-tempered person(S) does foolish things,(T)
and the one who devises evil schemes is hated.(U)

6 A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.

9 Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.
