20 Wine^(A) is a mocker^(B) and beer a brawler;
    whoever is led astray^(C) by them is not wise.^(D)

     ¹¹ to prostitution;^(A)
old wine^(B) and new wine
    take away their understanding.^(C)

⁷ The days of punishment^(A) are coming,
    the days of reckoning^(B) are at hand.
    Let Israel know this.
Because your sins^(C) are so many
    and your hostility so great,
the prophet is considered a fool,^(D)
    the inspired person a maniac.^(E)
