3 И Господ ми рече: Иди пак, залюби жена си, която, ако и да е залюбена от мъжа си, е прелюбодейца, също както Господ люби Израиляните, при все че гледат към чужди богове, и обичат млинове с грозде.
2 И тъй, аз си я наех за петнадесет сребърника, и за кор ечемик, и половин кор ечемик.
3 И рекох й: Остани за мене за дълго време; да не блудстваш, нито да бъдеш жена на другиго, така и аз ще бъда за тебе.
4 Защото Израиляните ще останат за дълго време без цар и без началник, без идолски стълп, без ефод и без домашни богове.
5 После Израиляните наново ще потърсят Господа своя Бог и царя си Давида; и в послешните дни ще дойдат със страхопочитание при Господа и при неговата благост.

3 Och HERREN sade till mig: »Gå ännu en gång åstad och giv din kärlek åt en kvinna som har en älskare och är en äktenskapsbryterska; likasom HERREN älskar Israels barn, fastän de vända sig till andra gudar och älska druvkakor.»
2 Och jag köpte henne åt mig och gav för henne femton siklar silver och en homer korn, och därutöver en letek korn.
3 Sedan sade jag till henne: »I lång tid skall du bliva sittande för min räkning, utan att få bedriva någon otukt, och utan att hava att skaffa med någon man; och jag skall bete mig sammalunda mot dig.
4 Ja, i lång tid skola Israels barn få sitta utan konung och furste, utan offer och stoder och utan efod och husgudar.
5 Sedan skola Israels barn omvända sig och söka HERREN, sin Gud, och David, sin konung; med fruktan skola de söka HERREN och hans goda, i kommande dagar.

Israel Will Return to the Lord Their God
3 Then the Lord said to me, “Go again and love your wife, even when she is loved by another and is not faithful. Love her as the Lord loves the people of Israel, even when they turn to other gods and love cakes of dried grapes.” 2 So I bought her for fifteen pieces of silver money and ten baskets of barley. 3 Then I said to her, “You must stay with me for many days, and be faithful to me. Do not have another man, and I will also be faithful to you.” 4 For the sons of Israel will live many days without a king or leader, without holy gifts or holy stone pillars, and without linen vests or false gods. 5 After this the sons of Israel will return and look for the Lord their God and for David their king. And they will come shaking before the Lord and receive His goodness in the last days.

Hosea’s Reconciliation With His Wife
3 The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress.(A) Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.(B)”
2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels[a] of silver and about a homer and a lethek[b] of barley. 3 Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute or be intimate with any man, and I will behave the same way toward you.”
4 For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince,(C) without sacrifice(D) or sacred stones,(E) without ephod(F) or household gods.(G) 5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek(H) the Lord their God and David their king.(I) They will come trembling(J) to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.(K)
