5 Вот родословие потомков Адама. Когда Всевышний сотворил человека, Он создал его по Своему подобию[a]. 2 Он сотворил мужчину и женщину и благословил их. Когда они были сотворены, Он назвал их «человек»[b].
3 Когда Адам прожил сто тридцать лет, у него родился сын по его образу и подобию, и он назвал его Сиф. 4 После рождения Сифа Адам жил ещё восемьсот лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 5 Всего Адам жил девятьсот тридцать лет и умер.
6 Когда Сиф прожил сто пять лет, у него родился Енос. 7 После рождения Еноса, Сиф жил восемьсот семь лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 8 Всего Сиф жил девятьсот двенадцать лет и умер.
9 Когда Енос прожил девяносто лет, у него родился Каинан. 10 После рождения Каинана, Енос жил восемьсот пятнадцать лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 11 Всего Енос жил девятьсот пять лет и умер.
12 Когда Каинан прожил семьдесят лет, у него родился Малелеил. 13 После рождения Малелеила, Каинан жил восемьсот сорок лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 14 Всего Каинан жил девятьсот десять лет и умер.
15 Когда Малелеил прожил шестьдесят пять лет, у него родился Иаред. 16 После рождения Иареда, Малелеил жил восемьсот тридцать лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 17 Всего Малелеил жил восемьсот девяносто пять лет и умер.
18 Когда Иаред прожил сто шестьдесят два года, у него родился Енох[c]. 19 После рождения Еноха, Иаред жил восемьсот лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 20 Всего Иаред жил девятьсот шестьдесят два года и умер.
21 Когда Енох прожил шестьдесят пять лет, у него родился Мафусал. 22 После рождения Мафусала, Енох пребывал в близком общении со Всевышним триста лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 23 Енох дожил до трёхсот шестидесяти пяти лет. 24 Енох пребывал в общении со Всевышним, и потом его не стало, потому что Всевышний взял его.
25 Когда Мафусал прожил сто восемьдесят семь лет, у него родился Ламех. 26 После рождения Ламеха, Мафусал жил семьсот восемьдесят два года, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 27 Всего Мафусал жил девятьсот шестьдесят девять лет и умер.
28 Когда Ламех прожил сто восемьдесят два года, у него родился сын. 29 Он назвал его Нух[d] («утешение») и сказал: «Он утешит нас в работе, в тяжком труде рук наших, на земле, проклятой Вечным». 30 После рождения Нуха Ламех жил пятьсот девяносто пять лет, и у него были ещё сыновья и дочери. 31 Всего Ламех жил семьсот семьдесят семь лет и умер.
32 Когда Нуху исполнилось пятьсот лет, у него родились сыновья: Сим, Хам и Иафет.

5 This is the book of the (B)genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in (C)the likeness of God. 2 He created them (D)male and female, and (E)blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. 3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son (F)in his own likeness, after his image, and (G)named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, (H)the days of Adam were eight hundred years; (I)and he had sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; (J)and he died.
6 Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot (K)Enosh. 7 After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9 Enosh lived ninety years, and begot [a]Cainan. 10 After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12 Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. 13 After he begot Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15 Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared. 16 After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.
18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot (L)Enoch. 19 After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.
21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch (M)walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And (N)Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God (O)took him.
25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.
28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. 29 And he called his name (P)Noah,[b] saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground (Q)which the Lord has cursed.” 30 After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot (R)Shem, Ham, (S)and Japheth.

The Descendants of Adam(A)
5 (B)This is the list of the descendants of Adam. (When God created human beings, he made them like himself. 2 (C)He created them male and female, blessed them, and named them “Human Beings.”) 3 When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son who was like him, and he named him Seth. 4 After that, Adam lived another 800 years. He had other children 5 and died at the age of 930.
6 When Seth was 105, he had a son, Enosh, 7 and then lived another 807 years. He had other children 8 and died at the age of 912.
9 When Enosh was 90, he had a son, Kenan, 10 and then lived another 815 years. He had other children 11 and died at the age of 905.
12 When Kenan was 70, he had a son, Mahalalel, 13 and then lived another 840 years. He had other children 14 and died at the age of 910.
15 When Mahalalel was 65, he had a son, Jared, 16 and then lived another 830 years. He had other children 17 and died at the age of 895.
18 When Jared was 162, he had a son, Enoch, 19 and then lived another 800 years. He had other children 20 and died at the age of 962.
21 When Enoch was 65, he had a son, Methuselah. 22 After that, Enoch lived in fellowship with God for 300 years and had other children. 23 He lived to be 365 years old. 24 (D)He spent his life in fellowship with God, and then he disappeared, because God took him away.
25 When Methuselah was 187, he had a son, Lamech, 26 and then lived another 782 years. He had other children 27 and died at the age of 969.
28 When Lamech was 182, he had a son 29 and said, “From the very ground on which the Lord put a curse, this child will bring us relief from all our hard work”; so he named him Noah.[a] 30 Lamech lived another 595 years. He had other children 31 and died at the age of 777.
32 After Noah was 500 years old, he had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
