5 Просто Всевышний знает, что, когда вы съедите их, ваши глаза откроются, и вы станете такими же, как Он, познав добро и зло.
6 Тогда женщина увидела, что плод дерева был хорош в пищу и приятен на вид, и что дерево было желанно, как источник мудрости; и она взяла один из плодов и съела. Она дала плод и мужу, который был с ней, и он ел его. 7 Их глаза открылись, и они поняли, что наги; тогда они сшили себе повязки из листьев инжира.

5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God,(A) knowing good and evil.”
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable(B) for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband,(C) who was with her, and he ate it.(D) 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked;(E) so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.(F)
