Micah 7:4-6

4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

English Standard Version
4 The best of them is (A)like a brier,
the most upright of them a thorn hedge.
The day of (B)your watchmen, of your punishment, has come;
(C)now their confusion is at hand.
5 (D)Put no trust in a neighbor;
have no confidence in a friend;
guard (E)the doors of your mouth
from her who lies in your arms;[a]
6 for (F)the son treats the father with contempt,
the daughter rises up against her mother,
the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
(G)a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
