Исус поучава о унутрашњој чистоћи
15 Тада неки фарисеји и зналци Светог писма из Јерусалима приступе Исусу, па га упитају: 2 „Зашто твоји ученици крше предање наших старих? Они, наиме, не перу руке пре јела!“ 3 Исус им узврати: „А зашто ви кршите Божију заповест због својих уредаба? 4 Јер Бог је рекао: ’Поштуј свога оца и своју мајку’ и: ’Ко наружи оца или мајку, нека се погуби.’ 5 А ви кажете: ’Ако неко каже своме оцу или мајци: „Све што ја могу да ти учиним је жртвени принос Богу“’ – 6 тај онда не треба да се стара о своме оцу. Тако сте укинули Божију реч ради вашег предања. 7 Лицемери! Добро је пророковао Исаија о вама, рекавши:
8 ’Овај народ ме поштује уснама,
али му је срце далеко од мене.
9 Узалуд је њихова побожност;
њихово учење научене су заповести људске.’“
10 Затим је позвао народ и рекао: „Слушајте и разумите! 11 Човека не чини нечистим оно што улази у уста, већ оно што излази из уста. То га чини нечистим!“ 12 Тада су му приступили његови ученици и рекли му: „Знаш ли да су се фарисеји увредили када су чули оно што си рекао?“ 13 А Исус им одговори: „Свака садница коју није посадио Отац мој небески биће искорењена. 14 Пустите их. Они су слепци који воде слепе. А ако слепац води слепога, обојица ће пасти у јаму.“ 15 Петар му рече „Објасни нам ову причу.“ 16 А Исус рече: „Зар и ви још увек не разумете? 17 Не схватате ли да све што улази у човекова уста одлази у стомак и потом се избацује напоље? 18 А оно што излази из уста, то извире из срца. То чини човека нечистим. 19 Јер из срца излазе зле помисли, убиства, прељубе, блуд, крађе, лажна сведочења, погрдне речи. 20 То чини човека нечистим, а јести неопраним рукама – то човека не чини нечистим.“
Вера једне Хананејке
21 Исус је затим отишао оданде и повукао се у тирске и сидонске области. 22 Кад, гле, нека жена Хананејка из тих крајева дође и завапи: „Господе, Сине Давидов, смилуј ми се! Моја ћерка се страшно мучи, јер је опседнута злим духом.“
23 Исус јој није одговорио ни речи. Тада му приступише његови ученици молећи га: „Реци јој да оде, јер иде за нама и виче.“
24 Исус јој одговори: „Ја сам послан само изгубљеним овцама дома Израиљева.“
25 Жена дође, паде ничице пред њим те рече: „Господе, помози ми!“
26 Он јој одговори: „Није добро узети хлеб деци и бацити га кучићима.“
27 А жена рече: „Да, Господе, али и кучићи једу од мрвица које падају са стола њихових господара.“
28 Тада јој Исус одговори: „О, жено, велика је твоја вера! Нека ти буде по твојој жељи.“ Тог истог часа је оздравила њена ћерка.
Исус исцељује многе
29 Исус је отишао оданде и дошао до Галилејског језера. Попео се на једно брдо и тамо сео. 30 Тада је много народа дошло к њему, а међу њима много хромих, слепих, богаља, немих и много других. Положили су их до његових ногу, а он их је излечио. 31 Народ се дивио, па је, гледајући да неми говоре, да су богаљи исцељени, да хроми ходају и да слепи гледају, дао хвалу Богу Израиљеву.
Исус храни четири хиљаде људи
32 Исус позва к себи своје ученике, и рече им: „Жао ми је овог народа, јер, ево, има већ три дана од како су са мном, а немају шта да једу. (Мк 7,1-23)
15 Тада из Јерусалима к Исусу дођоше неки фарисеји и учитељи закона и упиташе: 2 »Зашто твоји ученици крше предање старешина? Не перу руке пре јела!«
3 »А зашто ви кршите Божију заповест због свог предања?« упита Исус њих. 4 »Јер, Бог је рекао: ‚Поштуј свога оца и мајку‘(A), и: ‚Ко прокуне оца или мајку, нека се погуби.‘(B) 5 А ви говорите: ‚Ко каже оцу или мајци: »Све чиме бих ти могао помоћи, дар је Богу[a]« 6 – тај не треба да поштује свога оца.‘ Тако сте, због свог предања, обеснажили Божију реч. 7 Лицемери! Исаија је добро о вама пророковао кад је рекао:
8 ‚Овај народ ме уснама поштује,
а срце му је далеко од мене.
9 Узалуд ме славе,
јер људске заповести као учење шире.‘«(C)

13 »Биће из корена ишчупана свака биљка коју није посадио мој небески Отац«, одговори им он. 14 »Пустите их. Они су слепи и вође слепима. А ако слеп води слепога, обојица ће упасти у јаму.«
15 Петар му рече: »Објасни нам ту причу.«
16 »Зар ни ви још не разумете?« упита Исус. 17 »Зар не схватате да све што улази у уста, иде у трбух и избацује се из тела? 18 Али, оно што излази из уста, извире из срца, и то човека чини нечистим. 19 Јер, из срца извиру зле мисли, убиства, прељубе, блуд, крађе, кривоклетства и увреде. 20 То човека чини нечистим, а не чини га нечистим то што једе неопраних руку.«

25 Тада жена приђе Исусу и поклони му се, говорећи: »Господе, помози ми!«
26 »Није право«, рече јој он, »да се од деце узме хлеб и баци псима.«
27 »Да, Господе«, рече она, »али и пси једу мрвице које падну са стола њихових господара.«
28 »Велика је твоја вера, жено«, рече јој тада Исус. »Нека буде како желиш.«

Излечење многих
29 Исус оде оданде и дође на Галилејско море, а онда се попе на гору и седе. 30 Дође му силан народ, доносећи са собом хроме, слепе, кљасте, неме и многе друге, па му их положише пред ноге, а он их излечи. 31 Народ се задиви видевши да су неми проговорили, кљасти оздравили, хроми проходали и слепи прогледали, па почеше да славе Израеловог Бога.

35 Тада Исус рече народу да поседа по земљи, 36 узе оних седам хлебова и рибе, па кад је захвалио Богу, изломи их и даде ученицима, а ученици народу. 37 И сви су јели и најели се. Преосталих комадића накупише седам пуних кошара. 38 А оних који су јели било је четири хиљаде, не рачунајући жене и децу.

The Tradition of the Elders
15 Then(A) Jesus was approached by Pharisees and scribes from Jerusalem, who asked,(B) 2 ‘Why do your disciples(C) break the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat.’[a](D)
3 He answered them, ‘Why do you break God’s commandment because of your tradition? 4 For God said:[b] Honour your father and your mother;[c](E) and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.[d](F) 5 But you say, “Whoever tells his father or mother, ‘Whatever benefit you might have received from me is a gift committed to the temple,’ 6 he does not have to honour his father.”[e] In this way, you have nullified the word of God[f] because of your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you when he said:
8 This people[g] honours me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me.
9 They worship me in vain,
eaching as doctrines human commands.’(G)[h]
Defilement Is from Within
10 Summoning the crowd, he told them, ‘Listen and understand: 11 It’s not what goes into the mouth that defiles(H) a person, but what comes out of the mouth – this defiles a person.’(I)
12 Then the disciples came up and told him, ‘Do you know that the Pharisees took offence when they heard what you said? ’
13 He replied, ‘Every plant that my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.(J) 14 Leave them alone! They are blind guides.[i] And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.’(K)
15 Then Peter said, ‘Explain this parable to us.’(L)
16 ‘Do you still lack understanding? ’ he[j] asked. 17 ‘Don’t you realise[k] that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is eliminated?[l] 18 But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this defiles a person.(M) 19 For from the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false testimonies,(N) slander.(O) 20 These are the things that defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile a person.’(P)
A Gentile Mother’s Faith
21 When Jesus left there,(Q) he withdrew to the area of Tyre and Sidon.(R) 22 Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came and kept crying out,[m] ‘Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely tormented by a demon.’(S)
23 Jesus did not say a word to her. His disciples(T) approached him and urged him, ‘Send her away because she’s crying out after us.’
24 He replied, ‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’(U)
25 But she came, knelt before him, and said, ‘Lord, help me! ’
26 He answered, ‘It isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.’(V)
27 ‘Yes, Lord,’ she said, ‘yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.’
28 Then Jesus replied to her, ‘Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.’ And from that moment[n] her daughter was healed.(W)
Healing Many People
29 Moving on from there,(X) Jesus passed along the Sea of Galilee.(Y) He went up on a mountain and sat there, 30 and large crowds came to him, including the lame, the blind, the crippled, those unable to speak, and many others. They put them at his feet, and he healed them. 31 So the crowd was amazed when they saw those unable to speak talking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing,(Z) and they gave glory to the God of Israel.
Feeding of the Four Thousand
32 Jesus called his disciples and said,(AA) ‘I have compassion on the crowd, because they’ve already stayed with me for three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry, otherwise they might collapse on the way.’
33 The disciples said to him, ‘Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place(AB) to feed such a crowd? ’
34 ‘How many loaves do you have? ’ Jesus asked them.
‘Seven,’ they said, ‘and a few small fish.’
35 After commanding the crowd to sit down on the ground, 36 he took the seven loaves and the fish, gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.(AC) 37 They all ate and were satisfied. They collected the leftover pieces – seven large baskets full. 38 Now there were four thousand men who had eaten, besides women and children. 39 After dismissing the crowds, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.[o](AD)

That Which Defiles(A)
15 Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, 2 “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!”(B)
3 Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’[a](C) and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’[b](D) 5 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ 6 they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 “‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
9 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.(E)’[c](F)”
10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them,(G) but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”(H)
12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted(I) will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides.[d](J) If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”(K)
15 Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.”(L)
16 “Are you still so dull?”(M) Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart,(N) and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.(O) 20 These are what defile a person;(P) but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”
The Faith of a Canaanite Woman(Q)
21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.(R) 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David,(S) have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”(T)
23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”
24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”(U)
25 The woman came and knelt before him.(V) “Lord, help me!” she said.
26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith!(W) Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.
Jesus Feeds the Four Thousand(X)(Y)(Z)
29 Jesus left there and went along the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up on a mountainside and sat down. 30 Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.(AA) 31 The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.(AB)
32 Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people;(AC) they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.”
33 His disciples answered, “Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?”
34 “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked.
“Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”
35 He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. 36 Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them(AD) and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. 37 They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.(AE) 38 The number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children. 39 After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadan.

8 ‘這人民用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；
9 他們把人的規條當作道理去教導人，
所以拜我也是徒然。’”
10 耶穌叫群眾前來，對他們說：“你們要聽，也要明白。 11 進到口裡的不能使人污穢，只有從口裡出來的，才能使人污穢。” 12 門徒前來告訴他：“法利賽人聽了這話很生氣，你知道嗎？” 13 耶穌說：“所有不是我天父栽種的植物，都要連根拔起來。 14 由得他們吧！他們是瞎眼的，卻作了嚮導；如果瞎子領瞎子，二人都會跌進坑裡。” 15 彼得說：“請你給我們解釋這個比喻吧。” 16 耶穌說：“你們還是不明白嗎？ 17 難道不知道一切進到口裡的，是進到肚腹，然後排泄到外面（“外面”或譯：“廁所”）去嗎？ 18 但從口裡出來的，是發自內心，才會使人污穢。 19 因為從心裡出來的，有惡念、兇殺、姦淫、淫亂、偷盜、假見證和毀謗。 20 這些才會使人污穢，不洗手吃飯卻不會這樣。”
迦南婦人的信心(B)
21 耶穌離開那裡，退到推羅、西頓境內。 22 有一個迦南的婦人從那地區出來，喊著說：“主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！我的女兒被鬼附得很苦。” 23 耶穌一句話也不回答她。門徒上前求他說：“請叫她走吧，她一直跟在我們後面喊叫。” 24 耶穌回答：“我被差遣，只是到以色列家的迷羊那裡去。” 25 她來跪在耶穌面前說：“主啊，求你幫助我！” 26 耶穌回答：“拿兒女的餅丟給小狗吃是不好的。” 27 她說：“主啊，是的，不過小狗也吃主人桌子上掉下來的碎渣。” 28 於是耶穌對她說：“婦人，你的信心真大，照你所想的給你成就吧！”從那時起，她的女兒就好了。

給四千人吃飽的神蹟(D)
32 耶穌叫門徒前來，說：“我憐憫這一群人，因為他們跟我在一起已經有三天，也沒有甚麼吃的；我不想叫他們餓著肚子回去，恐怕他們在路上暈倒。” 33 門徒對他說：“我們在這曠野地方，哪裡有足夠的食物給這許多的人吃飽呢？” 34 耶穌問他們：“你們有多少餅？”他們說：“七個餅和幾條小魚。” 35 他就吩咐群眾坐在地上， 36 拿起那七個餅和那些魚，祝謝了，擘開遞給門徒，門徒又分給眾人。 37 大家都吃了，並且吃飽了。他們把剩下的零碎拾起來，裝滿了七個大籃子。 38 吃的人，除了婦女和孩子，共有四千。 39 耶穌解散了群眾，就上了船，來到馬加丹地區。
