Торжественный въезд в Иерусалим(A)
11 Когда они приблизились к Виффагии и Вифании, что расположены у Оливковой горы неподалёку от Иерусалима, Иса послал вперёд двух учеников.
2 – Идите в селение, которое перед вами, – сказал Он им, – и сразу же как войдёте, вы найдёте привязанного ослёнка, на которого никто не садился. Отвяжите его и приведите сюда. 3 Если кто-нибудь вам скажет: «Зачем вы это делаете?» – отвечайте, что ослёнок нужен Повелителю и что Он сразу же вернёт его.
4 Ученики пошли и нашли ослёнка, привязанного на улице к наружной стороне двери. Они стали его отвязывать, 5 и стоявшие там люди спросили:
– Что вы делаете? Зачем отвязываете ослёнка?
6 Ученики ответили, как велел Иса, и люди их отпустили. 7 Они привели ослёнка к Исе, набросили на него свои плащи, и Иса сел на него.[a] 8 Многие начали расстилать свои плащи на дороге, другие расстилали зелёные ветви, срезанные ими в поле. 9 И те, кто шёл впереди, и те, кто шёл позади, громко кричали:
– Хвала Царю![b]
Благословен Тот, Кто приходит во имя Вечного![c]
10 Благословенно наступающее Царство предка нашего Давуда![d]
Хвала Царю до небес!
11 Войдя в Иерусалим, Иса прошёл в храм. Он осмотрел всё, но так как было уже поздно, Он вместе с двенадцатью учениками отправился в Вифанию.
Иса Масих проклинает бесплодный инжир(B)
12 На следующий день, когда они вышли из Вифании, Иса почувствовал голод. 13 Увидев вдали покрытый листьями инжир, Он подошёл посмотреть, нет ли на нём плодов, но не нашёл ничего, кроме листьев. Время же для сбора инжира ещё не пришло.[e] 14 Тогда Иса сказал дереву:
– Пусть же никто никогда больше не ест твоих плодов![f]
И ученики слышали Его слова.
Изгнание торговцев из храма(C)
15 Когда они пришли в Иерусалим, Иса вошёл во двор храма и стал выгонять оттуда тех, кто там продавал и покупал. Он опрокинул столы менял и прилавки торговцев голубями 16 и не позволял ничего проносить через дворы храма.
17 – Разве не написано: «Дом Мой будет назван домом молитвы для всех народов»[g]? – учил Он их. – А вы превратили его в разбойничье логово.[h]
18 Услышав это, главные священнослужители и учители Таурата стали искать способ, как им убить Ису. Они боялись Его, потому что весь народ изумлялся Его учению. 19 Когда наступил вечер, Иса с учениками снова покинул город.
О вере(D)
20 На следующее утро, проходя мимо, они увидели, что инжир засох до корней. 21 Петир вспомнил, что произошло накануне, и сказал:
– Учитель! Смотри! Инжир, который Ты проклял, засох!
22 Иса ответил им:
– Имейте веру во Всевышнего! 23 Говорю вам истину: если кто-то скажет этой горе: «Поднимись и бросься в море!» – и при этом не будет сомневаться в душе, а будет верить, что произойдёт то, что он сказал, то так ему и будет. 24 Поэтому говорю вам: о чём бы вы ни попросили в молитве, верьте, что вы уже получили это, – и будет вам. 25-26 И когда вы молитесь, то прощайте всем, на кого вы обижены, чтобы и ваш Небесный Отец простил вам ваши грехи.[i]
Вопрос о власти Исы Масиха(E)
27 Они снова пришли в Иерусалим, и когда Иса ходил в храме, к Нему подошли главные священнослужители, учители Таурата и старейшины.
28 – Чьей властью Ты всё это делаешь? – спросили они. – Кто дал Тебе власть делать всё это?
29 Иса ответил:
– Я задам вам вопрос. Ответьте Мне, и тогда Я вам скажу, чьей властью Я это делаю. 30 Яхия получил своё право совершать обряд погружения в воду[j] от Всевышнего[k] или от людей? Ответьте Мне!
31 Они стали рассуждать между собой:
– Если мы скажем: «От Всевышнего», то Он спросит: «Так почему же вы ему не поверили?» 32 Сказать: «От людей…» – боялись народа, ведь все считали, что Яхия был настоящим пророком.
33 И они ответили:
– Мы не знаем.
– Тогда и Я вам не скажу, чьей властью Я всё это делаю, – сказал им Иса.

- 11:14 Этим примером Иса хотел показать ученикам, насколько важна вера (см. 11:20-25). Кроме того, это могло быть пророчеством о будущем народа Исраила. Но также это и предостережение всем тем, кто ведёт внешне благопристойную и религиозную жизнь, но по сути не приносит никакого духовного плода.

11 Cuando se acercaban a Jerusalén y llegaron a Betfagué y a Betania, junto al monte de los Olivos, Jesús envió a dos de sus discípulos 2 con este encargo: «Id a la aldea que tenéis enfrente. Tan pronto como entréis en ella, encontraréis atado un burrito, en el que nunca se ha montado nadie. Desatadlo y traedlo acá. 3 Y, si alguien os dice: “¿Por qué hacéis eso?”, decidle: “El Señor lo necesita, y en seguida lo devolverá”».
4 Fueron, encontraron un burrito afuera en la calle, atado a un portón, y lo desataron. 5 Entonces algunos de los que estaban allí les preguntaron: «¿Qué hacéis desatando el burrito?» 6 Ellos contestaron como Jesús les había dicho, y les dejaron desatarlo. 7 Llevaron, pues, el burrito a Jesús. Luego pusieron encima sus mantos, y él se montó. 8 Muchos tendieron sus mantos sobre el camino; otros usaron ramas que habían cortado en los campos. 9 Tanto los que iban delante como los que iban detrás gritaban:

11 Jesús entró en Jerusalén y fue al templo. Después de observarlo todo, como ya era tarde, salió para Betania con los doce.

12 Al día siguiente, cuando salían de Betania, Jesús tuvo hambre. 13 Viendo a lo lejos una higuera que tenía hojas, fue a ver si hallaba algún fruto. Cuando llegó a ella solo encontró hojas, porque no era tiempo de higos. 14 «¡Nadie vuelva jamás a comer fruto de ti!», le dijo a la higuera. Y lo oyeron sus discípulos.
15 Llegaron, pues, a Jerusalén. Jesús entró en el templo[c] y comenzó a echar de allí a los que compraban y vendían. Volcó las mesas de los que cambiaban dinero y los puestos de los que vendían palomas, 16 y no permitía que nadie atravesara el templo llevando mercancías. 17 También les enseñaba con estas palabras: «¿No está escrito:
»“Mi casa será llamada
casa de oración para todas las naciones”?[d]
Pero vosotros la habéis convertido en “cueva de ladrones”».[e]
18 Los jefes de los sacerdotes y los maestros de la ley lo oyeron y comenzaron a buscar la manera de matarlo, pues le temían, ya que toda la gente se maravillaba de sus enseñanzas.
19 Cuando cayó la tarde, salieron[f] de la ciudad.
La higuera seca(E)
20 Por la mañana, al pasar junto a la higuera, vieron que se había secado de raíz. 21 Pedro, acordándose, le dijo a Jesús:
―¡Rabí, mira, se ha secado la higuera que maldijiste!
22 ―Tened fe en Dios —respondió Jesús—. 23 Os aseguro[g] que, si alguno le dice a este monte: “Quítate de ahí y tírate al mar”, creyendo, sin albergar la menor duda de que lo que dice sucederá, lo obtendrá. 24 Por eso os digo: Creed que ya habéis recibido todo lo que estéis pidiendo en oración, y lo obtendréis. 25 Y cuando estéis orando, si tenéis algo contra alguien, perdonadlo, para que también vuestro Padre que está en el cielo os perdone a vosotros vuestros pecados.[h]
La autoridad de Jesús puesta en duda(F)
27 Llegaron de nuevo a Jerusalén, y mientras Jesús andaba por el templo, se le acercaron los jefes de los sacerdotes, los maestros de la ley y los ancianos.
28 ―¿Con qué autoridad haces esto? —lo interrogaron—. ¿Quién te dio autoridad para actuar así?
29 ―Yo voy a haceros una pregunta a vosotros —replicó él—. Contestádmela, y os diré con qué autoridad hago esto: 30 El bautismo de Juan, ¿procedía del cielo o de la tierra?[i] Respondedme.
31 Ellos se pusieron a discutir entre sí: «Si respondemos: “Del cielo”, nos dirá: “Entonces, ¿por qué no le creísteis?” 32 Pero, si decimos: “De la tierra”…» Es que temían al pueblo, porque todos consideraban que Juan era realmente un profeta. 33 Así que respondieron a Jesús:
―No lo sabemos.
―Pues yo tampoco os voy a decir con qué autoridad hago esto.

The Triumphal Entry(A)
11 Now (B)when they drew near Jerusalem, to [a]Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples; 2 and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. 3 And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.”
4 So they went their way, and found [b]the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it. 5 But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?”
6 And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go. 7 Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it. 8 (C)And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“Hosanna!
(D)‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
10 Blessed is the kingdom of our father David
That comes [c]in the name of the Lord!
(E)Hosanna in the highest!”
11 (F)And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
The Fig Tree Withered(G)
12 (H)Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 (I)And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.”
And His disciples heard it.
Jesus Cleanses the Temple(J)
15 (K)So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold (L)doves. 16 And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. 17 Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, (M)‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a (N)‘den of thieves.’ ”
18 And (O)the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because (P)all the people were astonished at His teaching. 19 When evening had come, He went out of the city.
The Lesson of the Withered Fig Tree(Q)
20 (R)Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For (S)assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, (T)whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Forgiveness and Prayer(U)
25 “And whenever you stand praying, (V)if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 [d]But (W)if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Jesus’ Authority Questioned(X)
27 Then they came again to Jerusalem. (Y)And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Him. 28 And they said to Him, “By what (Z)authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority to do these things?”
29 But Jesus answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one question; then answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things: 30 The (AA)baptism of John—was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me.”
31 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ 32 But if we say, ‘From men’ ”—they feared the people, for (AB)all counted John to have been a prophet indeed. 33 So they answered and said to Jesus, “We do not know.”
And Jesus answered and said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
