17 И рече на учениците Си: Не е възможно да не дойдат съблазните; но горко на онзи, чрез който дохождат!
2 По-добре би било за него да се окачи един голям воденичен камък на врата му и да бъде хвърлен в морето, а не да съблазни един от тия малките.
3 Внимавайте на себе си. Ако прегреши брат ти, смъмри го; и ако се покае прости му.
4 И седем пъти на ден ако ти сгреши, и седем пъти се обърне към тебе и каже: Покайвам се, прощавай му.
5 И апостолите рекоха на Господа: Придай ни вяра.
6 А Господ рече: Ако имате вяра колкото синапово зърно, казали бихте на тая черница: Изкорени се и насади се в морето, и тя би ви послушала.
7 А кой от вас, ако има слуга да му оре или да му пасе, ще му рече веднага, щом си дойде от нивата: Влез да ядеш?
8 Напротив не ще ли му рече: Приготви нещо да вечерям, стегни се та ми пошетай, докато ям и пия, и подир това ти ще ядеш и пиеш?
9 Нима ще благодари на слугата за дето е извършил каквото е било заповядано? [Не вярвам].
10 Също така и вие, когато извършите все що ви е заповядано, казвайте: Ние сме безполезни слуги; извършихме <само> това, което бяхме длъжни да извършим.
11 И в пътуването Си към Ерусалим Той минаваше <границата> между Самария и Галилея.
12 И като влизаше в едно село, срещнаха Го десетина прокажени, които, като се спряха отдалеч,
13 извикаха със силен глас, казвайки: Исусе наставниче, смили се за нас!
14 И като ги видя, рече им: Идете, покажете се на свещениците. И като отиваха, очистиха се.
15 И един от тях, като видя, че изцеля, върна се и със силен глас славеше Бога,
16 и падна на лице при нозете на <Исуса> и Му благодареше. И той бе самарянин.
17 А Исус в отговор му рече: Нали се очистиха десетимата? а где са деветимата?
18 Не намериха ли се <други> да се върнат и въздадат слава на Бога, освен тоя иноплеменник?
19 И рече му: Стани и си иди; твоята вяра те изцели.
20 А <Исус> попитан от фарисеите, кога ще дойде Божието царство, в отговор им каза: Божието царство не иде така щото да се забелязва;
21 нито ще рекат: Ето тук е! или Там е! защото, ето Божието царство е всред вас.
22 И рече на учениците: Ще дойдат дни, когато ще пожелаете да видите< поне> един от дните на Човешкия Син, и няма да видите.
23 И като ви рекат: Ето, тук е! да не отидете, нито да тичате подире< им>.
24 Защото, както светкавицата, когато блесне от единия край на хоризонта, свети до другия край на хоризонта, така ще бъде и Човешкият Син в Своя ден.
25 Но първо Той трябва да пострада много и да бъде отхвърлен от това поколение.
26 И както стана в Ноевите дни, така ще бъде и в дните на Човешкия Син;
27 ядяха, пиеха, женеха се и се омъжваха до деня, когато Ное влезе в ковчега, и дойде потопът и ги погуби всички.
28 Така също, както стана в Лотовите дни; ядяха, пиеха, купуваха, продаваха, садяха и градяха,
29 а в деня, когато Лот излезе от Содом, огън и сяра наваляха от небето и ги погубиха всички, -
30 подобно на това ще бъде и в деня, когато Човешкият Син ще се яви.
31 В оня ден, който се намери на къщния покрив, ако вещите му са в къщи, да не слиза да ги вземе; също и който е на нива да не се връща назад.
32 Помнете Лотовата жена.
33 Който иска да спечели живота {Или: Душата} си, ще го изгуби; а който го изгуби, ще го опази.
34 Казвам ви, в онази нощ двама ще бъдат на едно легло; единият ще се вземе, а другият ще се остави.

17 (A)Иисус рече на учениците Си: „Не е възможно да не дойдат изкушения, но горко на онзи, чрез когото идват. 2 За него е по-добре да му окачат воденичен камък на шията и да го хвърлят в морето, отколкото да съблазни един от тези, малките. 3 (B)Бъдете внимателни към себе си!
Ако съгреши брат ти, укори го, и ако се покае, прости му. 4 И ако седем пъти на ден съгреши против тебе и седем пъти се обърне към тебе и каже: ‘Разкайвам се’ – прости му!“
5 Тогава апостолите рекоха на Господ: „Укрепи у нас вярата!“ 6 (C)А Господ отвърна: „Ако имахте вяра колкото синапово зърно, щяхте да кажете на тази черница: ‘Изтръгни се и се посади в морето’, и тя би ви послушала.
7 Кой от вас, когато се завърне от полето негов слуга – орач или овчар, ще му рече веднага: ‘Върви, седни на трапезата’? 8 Няма ли да му рече: ‘Приготви да вечерям, препаши се и ми шетай, докато ям и пия, а после ти ще ядеш и пиеш’? 9 Нима ще благодари на слугата си, че е изпълнил заповедта? Излекуване на десет прокажени
11 (D)На път за Йерусалим Иисус минаваше между Самария и Галилея.
12 Когато влизаше в едно село, срещнаха Го десет прокажени. Те се спряха отдалеч 13 и с висок глас извикаха: „Иисусе, Учителю, смили се над нас!“ 14 (E)Той ги видя и им рече: „Идете, покажете се на свещениците!“ И докато отиваха, те се очистиха от проказата. 15 Един от тях, като видя, че е изцелен, върна се, прославяйки Бога с висок глас, 16 и падна по лице пред нозете Му, като Му благодареше. За идването на Божието царство
20 (G)Попитан от фарисеите кога ще дойде Божието царство, Иисус им отговори: „Божието царство няма да дойде така, че да бъде забелязано по външни знаци, 21 нито ще рекат: ‘Ето тук е, или пък там.’ Защото, ето Божието царство е вътре у вас[a].“ 22 Тогава каза на учениците Си: „Ще дойде време, когато ще пожелаете да видите поне един от дните на Сина човешки, но няма да видите. 23 (H)И ще ви кажат: ‘Ето тук е или там е!’ Но вие не ходете след тях и не Го търсете! 24 (I)Защото, както светкавицата блясва от единия до другия край на небето, тъй ще бъде и Синът човешки в Своя ден. 25 (J)Но преди това Той трябва да понесе много страдания и да бъде отхвърлен от това поколение. 26 (K)(L)И както беше в дните на Ной, така ще бъде и в дните на Сина човешки: 27 (M)ядяха и пиеха, женеха се и се омъжваха до онзи ден, в който Ной влезе в ковчега. Sin, Faith, Duty
17 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble(A) are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.(B) 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones(C) to stumble.(D) 3 So watch yourselves.
“If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them;(E) and if they repent, forgive them.(F) 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”(G)
5 The apostles(H) said to the Lord,(I) “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,(J) you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.(K)
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me(L) while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”(M)
Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem,(N) Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.(O) 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[b](P) met him. They stood at a distance(Q) 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master,(R) have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”(S) And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God(T) in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.(U)
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”(V)
The Coming of the Kingdom of God(W)
20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,(X) Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’(Y) because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”[c]
22 Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man,(Z) but you will not see it.(AA) 23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.(AB) 24 For the Son of Man in his day[d] will be like the lightning,(AC) which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. 25 But first he must suffer many things(AD) and be rejected(AE) by this generation.(AF)
26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah,(AG) so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot.(AH) People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.(AI) 31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.(AJ) 32 Remember Lot’s wife!(AK) 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.(AL) 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”(AM) [36] [e]
37 “Where, Lord?” they asked.
He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”(AN)

3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

Jesus Warns of Offenses(A)

Faith and Duty(F)

Ten Lepers Cleansed
11 Now it happened (J)as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, (K)who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, (L)“Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice (M)glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a (N)Samaritan.
