6 Дети, повинуйтесь своим родителям в Господе, ибо сего [требует] справедливость.
2 Почитай отца твоего и мать, это первая заповедь с обетованием:
3 да будет тебе благо, и будешь долголетен на земле.
4 И вы, отцы, не раздражайте детей ваших, но воспитывайте их в учении и наставлении Господнем.
5 Рабы, повинуйтесь господам своим по плоти со страхом и трепетом, в простоте сердца вашего, как Христу,
6 не с видимою только услужливостью, как человекоугодники, но как рабы Христовы, исполняя волю Божию от души,
7 служа с усердием, как Господу, а не как человекам,
8 зная, что каждый получит от Господа по мере добра, которое он сделал, раб ли, или свободный.
9 И вы, господа, поступайте с ними так же, умеряя строгость, зная, что и над вами самими и над ними есть на небесах Господь, у Которого нет лицеприятия.
10 Наконец, братия мои, укрепляйтесь Господом и могуществом силы Его.
11 Облекитесь во всеоружие Божие, чтобы вам можно было стать против козней диавольских,
12 потому что наша брань не против крови и плоти, но против начальств, против властей, против мироправителей тьмы века сего, против духов злобы поднебесной.
13 Для сего приимите всеоружие Божие, дабы вы могли противостать в день злый и, все преодолев, устоять.
14 Итак станьте, препоясав чресла ваши истиною и облекшись в броню праведности,
15 и обув ноги в готовность благовествовать мир;
16 а паче всего возьмите щит веры, которым возможете угасить все раскаленные стрелы лукавого;
17 и шлем спасения возьмите, и меч духовный, который есть Слово Божие.
18 Всякою молитвою и прошением молитесь во всякое время духом, и старайтесь о сем самом со всяким постоянством и молением о всех святых
19 и о мне, дабы мне дано было слово--устами моими открыто с дерзновением возвещать тайну благовествования,
20 для которого я исполняю посольство в узах, дабы я смело проповедывал, как мне должно.
21 А дабы и вы знали о моих обстоятельствах и делах, обо всем известит вас Тихик, возлюбленный брат и верный в Господе служитель,
22 которого я и послал к вам для того самого, чтобы вы узнали о нас и чтобы он утешил сердца ваши.
23 Мир братиям и любовь с верою от Бога Отца и Господа Иисуса Христа.
24 Благодать со всеми, неизменно любящими Господа нашего Иисуса Христа. Аминь.

6 τα τεκνα υπακουετε τοις γονευσιν υμων [εν κυριω] τουτο γαρ εστιν δικαιον
2 τιμα τον πατερα σου και την μητερα ητις εστιν εντολη πρωτη εν επαγγελια
3 ινα ευ σοι γενηται και εση μακροχρονιος επι της γης
4 και οι πατερες μη παροργιζετε τα τεκνα υμων αλλα εκτρεφετε αυτα εν παιδεια και νουθεσια κυριου
5 οι δουλοι υπακουετε τοις κατα σαρκα κυριοις μετα φοβου και τρομου εν απλοτητι της καρδιας υμων ως τω χριστω
6 μη κατ οφθαλμοδουλιαν ως ανθρωπαρεσκοι αλλ ως δουλοι χριστου ποιουντες το θελημα του θεου εκ ψυχης
7 μετ ευνοιας δουλευοντες ως τω κυριω και ουκ ανθρωποις
8 ειδοτες οτι εκαστος εαν τι ποιηση αγαθον τουτο κομισεται παρα κυριου ειτε δουλος ειτε ελευθερος
9 και οι κυριοι τα αυτα ποιειτε προς αυτους ανιεντες την απειλην ειδοτες οτι και αυτων και υμων ο κυριος εστιν εν ουρανοις και προσωπολημψια ουκ εστιν παρ αυτω
10 του λοιπου ενδυναμουσθε εν κυριω και εν τω κρατει της ισχυος αυτου
11 ενδυσασθε την πανοπλιαν του θεου προς το δυνασθαι υμας στηναι προς τας μεθοδειας του διαβολου
12 οτι ουκ εστιν ημιν η παλη προς αιμα και σαρκα αλλα προς τας αρχας προς τας εξουσιας προς τους κοσμοκρατορας του σκοτους τουτου προς τα πνευματικα της πονηριας εν τοις επουρανιοις
13 δια τουτο αναλαβετε την πανοπλιαν του θεου ινα δυνηθητε αντιστηναι εν τη ημερα τη πονηρα και απαντα κατεργασαμενοι στηναι
14 στητε ουν περιζωσαμενοι την οσφυν υμων εν αληθεια και ενδυσαμενοι τον θωρακα της δικαιοσυνης
15 και υποδησαμενοι τους ποδας εν ετοιμασια του ευαγγελιου της ειρηνης
16 εν πασιν αναλαβοντες τον θυρεον της πιστεως εν ω δυνησεσθε παντα τα βελη του πονηρου [τα] πεπυρωμενα σβεσαι
17 και την περικεφαλαιαν του σωτηριου δεξασθε και την μαχαιραν του πνευματος ο εστιν ρημα θεου
18 δια πασης προσευχης και δεησεως προσευχομενοι εν παντι καιρω εν πνευματι και εις αυτο αγρυπνουντες εν παση προσκαρτερησει και δεησει περι παντων των αγιων
19 και υπερ εμου ινα μοι δοθη λογος εν ανοιξει του στοματος μου εν παρρησια γνωρισαι το μυστηριον [του ευαγγελιου]
20 υπερ ου πρεσβευω εν αλυσει ινα εν αυτω παρρησιασωμαι ως δει με λαλησαι
21 ινα δε ειδητε και υμεις τα κατ εμε τι πρασσω παντα γνωρισει υμιν τυχικος ο αγαπητος αδελφος και πιστος διακονος εν κυριω
22 ον επεμψα προς υμας εις αυτο τουτο ινα γνωτε τα περι ημων και παρακαλεση τας καρδιας υμων
23 ειρηνη τοις αδελφοις και αγαπη μετα πιστεως απο θεου πατρος και κυριου ιησου χριστου
24 η χαρις μετα παντων των αγαπωντων τον κυριον ημων ιησουν χριστον εν αφθαρσια

Children and Parents(A)
6 Children, (B)obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 (C)“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”
4 And (D)you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but (E)bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
Bondservants and Masters
5 (F)Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, (G)with fear and trembling, (H)in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; 6 (I)not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, 8 (J)knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that [a]your own (K)Master also is in heaven, and (L)there is no partiality with Him.
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 (M)Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [b]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against (N)principalities, against powers, against (O)the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 (P)Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand (Q)in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, (R)having girded your waist with truth, (S)having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 (T)and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking (U)the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And (V)take the helmet of salvation, and (W)the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 (X)praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, (Y)being watchful to this end with all perseverance and (Z)supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, (AA)that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which (AB)I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
A Gracious Greeting
21 But that you also may know my affairs and how I am doing, (AC)Tychicus, a beloved brother and (AD)faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you; 22 (AE)whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our affairs, and that he may (AF)comfort your hearts.
23 Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
