Пророштво против Амонаца
25 И дође ми реч Господња: 2 „Сине човечији, окрени се лицем према Амонцима и пророкуј против њих. 3 Реци Амонцима: ’Чујте реч Господа Бога! Говори Господ Бог: зато што си рекао: „Аха!“ – за моје Светилиште када је било оскрнављено, и за земљу Израиљеву када је била опустошена, и за дом Јудин када је отишао у изгнанство, 4 зато ћу те, ево, предати у посед синовима истока. Они ће у теби поставити своје таборе и направити своја насеља у теби; они ће јести твој урод и пити твоје млеко. 5 Од Раве ћу учинити пашњаке за камиле, а од Амонаца обор за овце. Тада ће знати да сам ја Господ. 6 Јер говори Господ Бог: зато што си пљескао рукама, и ударао ногом о тло и с крајњим се презиром радовао у срцу над земљом Израиљевом, 7 зато ћу, ево, испружити своју руку на тебе и дати те за плен народима. И истребићу те из народа, искоренићу те из земаља; затрћу те. Тада ћеш знати да сам ја Господ.’“

8 Говори Господ: „Зато што су Моав и Сир рекли: ’Гле, дом је Јудин постао као сви други народи’, 9 зато ћу отворити границу Моавову, да уклоним његове градове, пограничне градове, понос земље: Вет-Јесимот, Вал-Меон и Киријатајим. 10 Даћу Амонце у посед синовима истока, да се Амонци не спомињу међу народима. 11 И над Моавцима ћу извршити суд. Тада ће знати да сам ја Господ.“

12 Говори Господ Бог: „Зато што је Едом извршио освету над домом Јудиним, па је, светећи им се, навукао на себе кривицу, 13 зато, говори Господ Бог: подигнућу руку на Едом и истребићу из њега и људе и стоку, и претворићу га у рушевине; и изгинуће од мача од Темана до Дедана. 14 Осветићу се Едому руком мога народа Израиља. Они ће поступити с Едомом по моме гневу и јарости. Тако ће упознати моју освету – говори Господ Бог.“
Пророштво против Филистејаца
15 Говори Господ Бог: „Зато што су Филистејци извршили освету, светећи се с презиром у срцу, и затирали с вековним непријатељством, 16 зато, говори Господ Бог: ево, подићу руку на Филистејце: истребићу Херећане и уништити остатак што живи уз море. 17 Извршићу над њима велику освету и гневно их казнити. И знаће да сам ја Господ, када извршим своју освету над њима.“

25 Дође ми реч ГОСПОДЊА: 2 »Сине човечији, окрени лице према Амонцима и пророкуј против њих. 3 Реци им: ‚Чујте реч Господа ГОСПОДА. Овако каже Господ ГОСПОД: Зато што сте ликовали што је моје светилиште оскврнављено и што је Израелова земља опустошена и што је народ Јуде отишао у изгнанство, 4 ево даћу вас у посед народу са истока. Они ће подићи своје таборе и разапети шаторе међу вама и јести ваше плодове и пити ваше млеко. 5 Претворићу Рабу у пашњак за камиле и Амон у пландиште за овце. Тада ћете знати да сам ја ГОСПОД. 6 Јер, овако каже Господ ГОСПОД: Зато што сте пљескали рукама и трупкали ногама, злобно се радујући због пропасти земље Израелове, 7 испружићу своју руку против вас и предати вас као плен народима. Искоренићу вас између народâ и истребити из земаља. Затрћу вас, и тада ћете знати да сам ја ГОСПОД.‘«

8 »Овако каже Господ ГОСПОД: ‚Зато што су Моав и Сеир говорили: »Ено, народ Јуде постаде као и сви други народи«, 9 учинићу да Моавов бок буде нападнут, почев од градова на граници – Бет-Јешимота, Ваал-Меона и Кирјатајима – украсâ земље. 10 Даћу Моав заједно с Амонцима у посед народу са истока, па се Моав[a] више неће помињати међу народима. 11 Тако ћу извршити казну над Моавом. Тада ће знати да сам ја ГОСПОД.‘«

12 »Овако каже Господ ГОСПОД: ‚Зато што се Едом осветио народу Јуде, и том осветом навукао на себе велику кривицу, 13 овако каже Господ ГОСПОД: Испружићу своју руку против Едома и истребити из њега и човека и животињу. Опустошићу га – од Темана до Дедана сви ће пасти од мача. 14 Осветићу се Едому руком мога народа Израела, и он ће поступити с Едомом према мом гневу и мојој срџби. Тада ће знати каква је моја освета, говори Господ ГОСПОД.‘«

15 »Овако каже Господ ГОСПОД: ‚Зато што су Филистејци поступили осветољубиво и окрутно се осветили, желећи да затру Јуду због дуготрајног непријатељства, 16 овако каже Господ ГОСПОД: Ево, испружићу своју руку против Филистејаца и истребити Керећане и затрти оне који су преостали дуж обале. 17 Тако ћу извршити велику освету над њима и казнити их у својој срџби. И када им се осветим, знаће да сам ја ГОСПОД.‘«

Proclamation Against Ammon
25 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, (A)set your face (B)against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them. 3 Say to the Ammonites, ‘Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God: (C)“Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity, 4 indeed, therefore, I will deliver you as a possession to the [a]men of the East, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5 And I will make (D)Rabbah (E)a stable for camels and Ammon a resting place for flocks. (F)Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”
6 ‘For thus says the Lord God: “Because you (G)clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and (H)rejoiced in heart with all your disdain for the land of Israel, 7 indeed, therefore, I will (I)stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

8 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because (J)Moab and (K)Seir say, ‘Look! The house of Judah is like all the nations,’ 9 therefore, behold, I will clear the territory of Moab of cities, of the cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and (L)Kirjathaim. 10 (M)To the men of the East I will give it as a possession, together with the Ammonites, that the Ammonites (N)may not be remembered among the nations. 11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the Lord.”
Proclamation Against Edom
12 ‘Thus says the Lord God: (O)“Because of what Edom did against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended by avenging itself on them,” 13 therefore thus says the Lord God: “I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off man and beast from it, and make it desolate from Teman; [b]Dedan shall fall by the sword. 14 (P)I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance,” says the Lord God.
Proclamation Against Philistia
15 ‘Thus says the Lord God: (Q)“Because (R)the Philistines dealt vengefully and took vengeance with [c]a spiteful heart, to destroy because of the [d]old hatred,” 16 therefore thus says the Lord God: (S)“I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the (T)Cherethites (U)and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. 17 I will (V)execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; (W)and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them.” ’ ”

A Prophecy Against Ammon
25 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against(A) the Ammonites(B) and prophesy against them.(C) 3 Say to them, ‘Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you said “Aha!(D)” over my sanctuary when it was desecrated(E) and over the land of Israel when it was laid waste and over the people of Judah when they went into exile,(F) 4 therefore I am going to give you to the people of the East(G) as a possession. They will set up their camps(H) and pitch their tents among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your milk.(I) 5 I will turn Rabbah(J) into a pasture for camels and Ammon into a resting place for sheep.(K) Then you will know that I am the Lord. 6 For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you have clapped your hands(L) and stamped your feet, rejoicing with all the malice of your heart against the land of Israel,(M) 7 therefore I will stretch out my hand(N) against you and give you as plunder(O) to the nations. I will wipe you out from among the nations and exterminate you from the countries. I will destroy(P) you, and you will know that I am the Lord.(Q)’”
A Prophecy Against Moab
8 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because Moab(R) and Seir(S) said, “Look, Judah has become like all the other nations,” 9 therefore I will expose the flank of Moab, beginning at its frontier towns—Beth Jeshimoth(T), Baal Meon(U) and Kiriathaim(V)—the glory of that land. 10 I will give Moab along with the Ammonites to the people of the East as a possession, so that the Ammonites will not be remembered(W) among the nations; 11 and I will inflict punishment on Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”(X)
A Prophecy Against Edom
12 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because Edom(Y) took revenge on Judah and became very guilty by doing so, 13 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will stretch out my hand(Z) against Edom and kill both man and beast.(AA) I will lay it waste, and from Teman(AB) to Dedan(AC) they will fall by the sword.(AD) 14 I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger(AE) and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”(AF)
A Prophecy Against Philistia
15 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because the Philistines(AG) acted in vengeance and took revenge with malice(AH) in their hearts, and with ancient hostility sought to destroy Judah, 16 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am about to stretch out my hand against the Philistines,(AI) and I will wipe out the Kerethites(AJ) and destroy those remaining along the coast.(AK) 17 I will carry out great vengeance(AL) on them and punish(AM) them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am the Lord,(AN) when I take vengeance on them.(AO)’”
