1 Павел, с Божията воля апостол Исус Христов, и брат Тимотей,
2 до светите и верни братя в Христа, които са в Колоса: Благодат и мир на вас от Бога, нашия Отец, [и Господа Исуса Христа],
3 Благодарим на Бога, Отец на нашия Господ Исус Христос, (като се молим винаги за вас,
4 понеже чухме за вашата вяра в Христа Исуса и за любовта ви към всички светии),
5 по причина на онова, за което се надяваме, което се пази за вас на небесата, за което сте чули от по-напред в истинското слово на благовестието,
6 което дойде до вас; както се принася плод и расте и в целия свят, тъй и между вас, от деня, когато чухте и наистина познахте Божията благодат,
7 както сте я научили от нашия възлюбен съработник Епафраса, който е за нас верен Христов служител;
8 който ни и извести за вашата любов в Духа.
9 Затуй и ние, от деня, когато чухме за това, не преставаме да се молим за вас и да искаме от Бога да се изпълните с познанието на Неговата воля чрез пълна духовна мъдрост и проумяване,
10 за да се обхождате достойно за Господа, да Му угаждате във всичко, като принасяте плод във всяко добро дело и като растете в познаването на Бога;
11 подкрепяни от пълна сила, според Неговото славно могъщество, за да издържите и дълготърпите всичко с радост;
12 като благодарите на Отца, Който ни удостои да участвуваме в наследството на светиите в светлината;
13 Който ни избави от властта на тъмнината и ни пресели в царството на Своя възлюбен Син.
14 В Него имаме изкуплението си, прощението на греховете;
15 в Него, Който е образ на невидимия Бог, първороден преди всяко създание;
16 понеже чрез Него бе създадено всичко, което е на небесата и на земята, видимото и невидимото, било престоли или господства, било началства или власти, всичко чрез Него бе създадено;
17 и Той е преди всичко, и всичко чрез Него се сплотява.
18 И глава на тялото, то ест, на църквата, е Той, Който е началникът, първороден от мъртвите, за да има първенство във всичко.
19 Защото Отец благоволи да всели в Него съвършенната пълнота,
20 и чрез Него да примири всичко със Себе Си, и земните и небесните, като въдвори мир чрез Него с кръвта, пролята на Неговия кръст.
21 И вас, които бяхте някога отстранени и по разположение врагове в злите си дела,
22 примири сега чрез Неговата смърт в плътското Му тяло, да ви представи пред Себе Си свети, непорочни и безупречни,
23 ако останете основани и твърди във вярата, и без да се помръднете от надеждата, открита вам в благовестието, което сте чули, и което е било проповядвано на всяка твар под небесата, на което аз Павел станах служител.
24 Сега се радвам в страданията си за вас, като от моя страна допълням недостатъка на скърбите на Христа в моето тяло заради Неговото тяло, което е църквата;
25 на която аз станах служител, по Божия наредба, която ми бе възложена заради вас, да проповядвам напълно словото на Бога,
26 сиреч, тайната, която е била скрита за векове и поколения, а сега се откри на неговите Светии;
27 на която Божията воля беше да яви, какво е между езичниците богатството на славата на тая тайна, сиреч, Христос между вас, надеждата на славата.

2 До святите и верни братя и сестри в Христос, които живеят в Колос.
Благодат и мир на вас от Бога, нашия Баща.
3 Когато се молим за вас, винаги благодарим на Бога, Бащата на нашия Господ Исус Христос, 4 защото чухме за вярата ви в Христос Исус и любовта ви към всички Божии хора. 5 Вашата вяра и любов са породени от надеждата ви и всичко, за което се надявате, ви очаква в небесата. Това вие чухте за първи път чрез словото на истината — Благата вест, 6 която стигна до вас. Тя се разнася из целия свят, дава плод и продължава да се разпространява така, както стана и при вас, от деня, в който чухте за Божията благодат и разбрахте истината за нея. 7 Научихте я от Епафрас — нашия скъп брат, който служи заедно с нас и е верен Христов дякон заради нас. 8 Той ни каза за вашата любов, вдъхновена от Духа.
9 Ето защо от деня, в който чухме за това, ние също не спираме да се молим за вас, като искаме:
да познаете напълно Божията воля и заедно с това познание да сте изпълнени с мъдрост и да разбирате духовните неща; 10 да живеете така, както е достойно за хора, които принадлежат на Господа, и да го радвате по всякакъв начин; да вършите всякакво добро и да растете в пълното познаване на Бога; 11 да ви даде Бог своята велика мощ и вие да станете силни, да имате пълна твърдост и търпение
и с радост 12 да благодарите на Отца, който ви направи достойни да получите своя дял от наследството, принадлежащо на Божиите хора, които живеят в светлината. 13 Бог ни избави от властта на тъмнината и ни пренесе в царството на своя възлюбен Син, 14 чрез когото ние сме изкупени и имаме опрощение на греховете си.
Когато гледаме Христос, виждаме Бога
15 Той е видимият образ на невидимия Бог
и стои над всичко сътворено.[a]
16 Всичко в небесата и на земята бе сътворено от него —
и видимото, и невидимото,
било то престоли, власти, господари или управници.
Всичко бе сътворено чрез Христос и за Христос.
17 Той съществуваше преди всичко друго
и всичко се крепи чрез него.
18 И той е главата на тялото —
тялото е църквата.
Той е източникът на всичко
и той е първородният, възкресен от мъртвите,
за да заеме първото място във всичко.
19 Защото в него Бог избра
да живее в цялата си пълнота
20 и чрез него да върне към себе си
всичко — и земните,
и небесните неща,
като чрез кръвта му,
пролята на кръста, донесе помирение.
21 Имаше време, когато заради помислите си и злите си дела вие се бяхте отдалечили от Бога и бяхте негови врагове. 22 Но сега чрез физическата си смърт Христос ви помири с Бога, за да ви представи пред него святи, неопетнени и безупречни. 23 Ще бъде така, ако продължите да стоите във вярата твърди и непоклатими и не се отклоните от надеждата, която ви даде Благата вест, проповядвана на всеки под небето — Благата вест, която чухте и на която аз, Павел, станах служител.

24 Сега се радвам в страданията си заради вас и със собственото си тяло понасям страданията, които Христос все още трябва да изтърпи заради своето тяло — църквата. 25 Бог ми възложи задачата да стана един от служителите й заради вашето благо: да съобщавам Божието послание. 26 Това послание е тайната истина, скрита от векове и поколения, която сега Бог изяви на своите святи хора. 27 Той реши да им извести колко велико е славното богатство на тази тайна истина. 1 Sha’ul a Shliach of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua through the ratzon Hashem [1:9] and Timotiyos the Ach b’Moshiach;
2 To the Kadoshim in Colossae, the Achim b’Moshiach, the Achim HaNe’emanim. Chen v’Chesed Hashem to you and shalom from Elohim Avinu.
3 Hodinu l’Hashem (we give thanks to Hashem) Elohim HaAv of Adoneinu Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua, davening always concerning you,
4 Having heard of your emunah in Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua and the ahavah which you have for all the Kadoshim
5 On account of the tikvah (hope) being laid up for you in Shomayim, the tikvah which you heard of before in the Dvar HaEmes, the Besuras HaGeulah
6 That has come to you, as also in all the Olam Hazeh it is bearing p’ri and growing, so also in you, from the day you heard it and began to have saving da’as of the Chen v’Chesed Hashem in actuality.
7 This you learned from Epaphras, [4:12] our chaver and fellow eved, who is ne’eman (faithful), who is a trusted keli kodesh (minister) of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach for you.
8 Epaphras also revealed to us your ahavah in the Ruach Hakodesh.
9 Therefore, we also, from the day that we heard, do not cease davening for you and offering tefillos that you be filled with da’as of the ratzon Hashem [1:1] in all chochmah and binah in the Ruach Hakodesh.
10 And this is the purpose: that you walk in hitnahagut (conduct) worthy of Adoneinu in every way pleasing to him in every mitzvoh bearing p’ri in the da’as of Hashem,
11 With all ko’ach being empowered according to the gevurah (power) of his kavod for all zitzfleisch (patience) and savlanut (longsuffering) with lev same’ach (glad heart),
12 Giving todot to Elohim HaAv. Elohim HaAv is the One who has qualified you for the share of the allotted nachalah (inheritance, TEHILLIM 16:5-6) of the Kadoshim in Ohr (Light);
13 Elohim HaAv is the One who rescued nafsheinu (our souls) from the memshalet (dominion) of Choshech and transferred us into the Malchut of the Ben HaElohim of His ahavah,
14 In whom we have the pedut (redemption, Geulah release on payment of ransom) through the [kapporah] dahm of Moshiach the selicha (forgiveness) of chatoteinu (our sins).
15 Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach is the demut (BERESHIS 1:26-27; Pp 2:6) of the invisible G-d, the Bechor [TEHILLIM 89:27], the Yoresh (Heir) of kol hanivrah (all creation),
16 Because in Him were created all things in Shomayim and on Ha’Aretz, the visible and the nistar (hidden), whether thrones or dominions, whether rulers or authorities, all things through Him and for Him have been created. [TEHILLIM 33:6]
17 And Moshiach is before all things, and all things in Moshiach have been held together; [MISHLE 8:23-27; 30:4]
18 And Moshiach is the Rosh [MISHLE 8:22; 30:4] of the Geviyah (Body) [Gn 47:18; Ps 16:9-10; Isa 53:11; Job 19:25-27], and the Geviyah (nevilah, DEVARIM 21:23) is Moshiach’s Brit Chadasha Kehillah; Moshiach is its Reshit, the Bechor from the Mesim, that Moshiach might be in everything pre-eminent, [TEHILLIM 89:27]
19 Because Hashem was pleased that all His fullness have its mishkan (tabernacle) in Moshiach,
20 And through Moshiach to bring ritztzuy (reconciliation, cessation of enmity, hostility between a wrathful holy G-d and sinful Bnei Adam) between all things and Himself, having made shalom through the dahm of the kapporah of HaEtz HaMoshiach [Dt 21:23; Isa 52:15; Lv 16:15-16], whether the things on HaAretz or the things in HaShomayim.
21 And you, once having been alienated and oyvim (enemies) in the mind by ma’asim hara’im (evil deeds),
22 Yet now Moshiach reconciled in the Guf (body) [1:18] of his basar [TEHILLIM 16:9-10] through Moshiach’s histalkus [Dan 9:26; Isa 53:8-9] to present you, Kadoshim holy and without mum (defect, VAYIKRA 22:20) and without reproach before Him,
23 Provided you remain in the [correct Orthodox Jewish] Emunah [Faith, the Emunah of the true Dat HaYehudit], having been founded in it and securely established and not moving away from the tikvah (hope) of the Besuras HaGeulah which you heard, the Besuras HaGeulah which has been proclaimed in kol hanivrah (all creation) under Shomayim, the Besuras HaGeulah of which I, Rav Sha’ul, became a keli kodesh (minister).
24 Now with lev same’ach (glad heart) and chedvah (rejoicing) I rejoice in my suffering tzoros on behalf of you. And I am mashlim (supply what is deficient) the things lacking of the Chevlei Moshiach in my basar on behalf of the basar of Moshiach [1:18] which is the Brit Chadasha Kehillah,
25 Of which I became a keli kodesh [1:23] according to the pekudat Hashem (stewardship of G-d, His shlichus commission) which was given to me for you, to carry to shleimut (wholeness, completion) the Dvar Hashem
26 The raz (mystery) having been hidden from olamim and from dor v’dor, but now made manifest to the Kadoshim of Moshiach,
27 To whom Hashem wanted to make hisgalus of what is the spiritual osher of the kavod of this raz among the non-Jews: Moshiach in you, the tikvah of kavod.
28 It is Moshiach who is the subject of our hattafah (preaching), warning every man and teaching every man in all chochmah, that we may present every man Bnei Chayil mature in Moshiach.
29 For this also I toil, striving according to the hitlahavut (inspiration, enthusiasm) of Him working in me with gevurah.

1 Paul, an apostle(A) of Christ Jesus by the will of God,(B) and Timothy(C) our brother,
2 To God’s holy people in Colossae, the faithful brothers and sisters[a] in Christ:
Grace(D) and peace to you from God our Father.[b](E)
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 We always thank God,(F) the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love(G) you have for all God’s people(H)— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope(I) stored up for you in heaven(J) and about which you have already heard in the true message(K) of the gospel 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit(L) and growing throughout the whole world(M)—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. 7 You learned it from Epaphras,(N) our dear fellow servant,[c] who is a faithful minister(O) of Christ on our[d] behalf, 8 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.(P)
9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you,(Q) we have not stopped praying for you.(R) We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will(S) through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[e](T) 10 so that you may live a life worthy(U) of the Lord and please him(V) in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,(W) 11 being strengthened with all power(X) according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,(Y) 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father,(Z) who has qualified you[f] to share in the inheritance(AA) of his holy people in the kingdom of light.(AB) 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness(AC) and brought us into the kingdom(AD) of the Son he loves,(AE) 14 in whom we have redemption,(AF) the forgiveness of sins.(AG)
The Supremacy of the Son of God
15 The Son is the image(AH) of the invisible God,(AI) the firstborn(AJ) over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created:(AK) things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;(AL) all things have been created through him and for him.(AM) 17 He is before all things,(AN) and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head(AO) of the body, the church;(AP) he is the beginning and the firstborn(AQ) from among the dead,(AR) so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased(AS) to have all his fullness(AT) dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile(AU) to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven,(AV) by making peace(AW) through his blood,(AX) shed on the cross.
21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies(AY) in your minds(AZ) because of[g] your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled(BA) you by Christ’s physical body(BB) through death to present you(BC) holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation(BD)— 23 if you continue(BE) in your faith, established(BF) and firm, and do not move from the hope(BG) held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven,(BH) and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.(BI)
Paul’s Labor for the Church
24 Now I rejoice(BJ) in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions,(BK) for the sake of his body, which is the church.(BL) 25 I have become its servant(BM) by the commission God gave me(BN) to present to you the word of God(BO) in its fullness— 26 the mystery(BP) that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known(BQ) among the Gentiles the glorious riches(BR) of this mystery, which is Christ in you,(BS) the hope of glory.
28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing(BT) and teaching everyone with all wisdom,(BU) so that we may present everyone fully mature(BV) in Christ. 29 To this end I strenuously(BW) contend(BX) with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.(BY)
