18 Радуйтесь же и ликуйте вовеки о том,
что Я творю!
Я сделаю Иерусалим местом ликования,
а народ его наполню радостью!
19 Сам Я возликую об Иерусалиме
и возрадуюсь о Моем народе.
Звуков плача и вопля
не будет в нем больше слышно.
20 Никогда больше в нем не будет младенца,
что жил бы лишь несколько дней,
или старца, что не проживал бы свой век целиком;
тот, кто умрет столетним,
будет считаться юношей,
а кто не достигнет[a] ста лет,
будет считаться проклятым.

18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;
For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing,
And her people a joy.
19 (A)I will rejoice in Jerusalem,
And joy in My people;
The (B)voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her,
Nor the voice of crying.
20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days,
Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days;
For the child shall die one hundred years old,
(C)But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
