Вечный – Спаситель Исраила
43 Но ныне так говорит Вечный,
сотворивший тебя, Якуб,
создавший тебя, Исраил:
– Не бойся, ведь Я тебя искупил;
Я назвал тебя по имени – ты Мой.
2 Когда ты станешь переправляться через воды,
Я буду с тобой;
когда будешь переправляться через реки,
они тебя не потопят.
Когда ты пойдёшь сквозь огонь,
не обожжёшься,
пламя тебя не опалит.
3 Ведь Я – Вечный, твой Бог,
святой Бог Исраила, твой Спаситель;
в выкуп за тебя Я отдаю Египет,
Эфиопию и Севу вместо тебя.
4 Так как ты драгоценен и славен в Моих глазах,
и Я люблю тебя,
то Я отдам за тебя людей
и народы – за твою жизнь.
5 Не бойся, ведь Я с тобой;
Я приведу с востока твоих детей
и соберу тебя с запада.
6 Северу скажу: «Отдай их!» –
и югу: «Не удерживай!»
Ведите сыновей Моих издалека,
дочерей Моих с краёв земли –
7 всякого, над кем провозглашено Моё имя,
кого сотворил Я для славы Своей,
кого Я создал и устроил.
Народ Исраила – свидетели Всевышнего
8 Выводите тех, кто имеет глаза, но слеп,
кто имеет уши, но глух.
9 Пусть соберутся вместе все народы
и сойдутся племена.
Кто из них предсказал это
и объявил нам о минувших делах?
Пусть представят свидетелей,
чтобы доказать свою правоту,
чтобы другие услышали и сказали: «Это правда».
10 А вы, – возвещает Вечный, – Мои свидетели
и раб Мой, которого Я избрал,
чтобы вы узнали и поверили Мне
и познали, что это Я.
Не было Бога прежде Меня
и после Меня не будет.
11 Я, только Я – Вечный,
и нет Спасителя, кроме Меня.
12 Я предрёк, спас и возвестил,
и не было с вами чужого бога.
Вы – свидетели Мои, – возвещает Вечный, –
в том, что Я – Бог;
13 да, с древних времён Я – Тот же.
От Моей руки не избавит никто.
И кто отменит то, что Я совершу?
Милость Аллаха и неверность Исраила
14 Так говорит Вечный,
ваш Искупитель, святой Бог Исраила:
– Ради вас Я пошлю воинов в Вавилон
и сокрушу его, превратив вавилонян в беглецов,
и в плач обратится их ликующий крик[a].
15 Я – Вечный, Святой ваш,
Творец Исраила,
Царь ваш.
16 Так говорит Вечный,
проложивший путь через море,
стезю – через бурные воды для Исраила,
17 выведший египетские колесницы и коней,
войско и подкрепления;
полегли они вместе, не встанут уже,
погасли, потушены, как фитиль:[b]
18 – Забудьте о прежнем,
о минувшем не размышляйте.
19 Вот, Я делаю новое!
Оно уже происходит – неужели не понимаете?
Я путь пролагаю в пустыне
и реки – в земле безводной.
20 Славят Меня дикие звери,
шакалы и совы,
потому что Я воду даю в пустыне
и реки – в земле безводной,
чтобы пил Мой народ, Мой избранный,
21 народ, который Я создал для Себя,
чтобы он возглашал Мне хвалу.
22 Но ты, Якуб, не призывал Меня;
ты устал от Меня, Исраил.
23 Ты не приносил Мне овец во всесожжение
и не чтил Меня жертвами.
Я не обременял тебя, требуя хлебных приношений,
и Я не утомлял тебя просьбами о благовониях.
24 Не покупал ты Мне благовонный тростник,
не насыщал Меня жиром жертв.
Но ты обременял Меня своими грехами
и утомлял беззакониями.
25 Я, только Я заглаживаю твои преступления
ради Себя Самого;
Я не вспомню больше твои грехи.
26 Напомни Мне, и будем судиться,
изложи своё дело, чтобы оправдаться.
27 Твой праотец[c] согрешил,
твои посредники[d] отступили от Меня.
28 За это Я осквернил служителей святилища
и обрёк потомков Якуба на гибель,
Исраил на поругание.

Restoration and Protection Promised
43 But now thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
3 For I am the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.
I give Egypt as your ransom,
Ethiopia[a] and Seba in exchange for you.
4 Because you are precious in my sight,
and honoured, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life.
5 Do not fear, for I am with you;
I will bring your offspring from the east,
and from the west I will gather you;
6 I will say to the north, ‘Give them up’,
and to the south, ‘Do not withhold;
bring my sons from far away
and my daughters from the end of the earth—
7 everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made.’
8 Bring forth the people who are blind, yet have eyes,
who are deaf, yet have ears!
9 Let all the nations gather together,
and let the peoples assemble.
Who among them declared this,
and foretold to us the former things?
Let them bring their witnesses to justify them,
and let them hear and say, ‘It is true.’
10 You are my witnesses, says the Lord,
and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor shall there be any after me.
11 I, I am the Lord,
and besides me there is no saviour.
12 I declared and saved and proclaimed,
when there was no strange god among you;
and you are my witnesses, says the Lord.
13 I am God, and also henceforth I am He;
there is no one who can deliver from my hand;
I work and who can hinder it?
14 Thus says the Lord,
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
For your sake I will send to Babylon
and break down all the bars,
and the shouting of the Chaldeans will be turned to lamentation.[b]
15 I am the Lord, your Holy One,
the Creator of Israel, your King.
16 Thus says the Lord,
who makes a way in the sea,
a path in the mighty waters,
17 who brings out chariot and horse,
army and warrior;
they lie down, they cannot rise,
they are extinguished, quenched like a wick:
18 Do not remember the former things,
or consider the things of old.
19 I am about to do a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
20 The wild animals will honour me,
the jackals and the ostriches;
for I give water in the wilderness,
rivers in the desert,
to give drink to my chosen people,
21 the people whom I formed for myself
so that they might declare my praise.
22 Yet you did not call upon me, O Jacob;
but you have been weary of me, O Israel!
23 You have not brought me your sheep for burnt-offerings,
or honoured me with your sacrifices.
I have not burdened you with offerings,
or wearied you with frankincense.
24 You have not bought me sweet cane with money,
or satisfied me with the fat of your sacrifices.
But you have burdened me with your sins;
you have wearied me with your iniquities.
25 I, I am He
who blots out your transgressions for my own sake,
and I will not remember your sins.
26 Accuse me, let us go to trial;
set forth your case, so that you may be proved right.
27 Your first ancestor sinned,
and your interpreters transgressed against me.
28 Therefore I profaned the princes of the sanctuary,
I delivered Jacob to utter destruction,
and Israel to reviling.

43 Mas ahora, así dice el Señor tu Creador(A), oh Jacob,
y el que te formó(B), oh Israel:
No temas(C), porque yo te he redimido(D),
te he llamado por tu nombre(E); mío eres tú(F).
2 Cuando pases por las aguas, yo estaré contigo(G),
y si por los ríos, no te anegarán(H);
cuando pases por el fuego, no te quemarás,
ni la llama te abrasará[a](I).
3 Porque yo soy el Señor tu Dios(J),
el Santo de Israel, tu Salvador(K);
he dado a Egipto por tu rescate,
a Cus[b](L) y a Seba en lugar tuyo.
4 Ya que eres precioso a mis ojos(M),
digno de honra(N), y yo te amo(O),
daré a otros hombres en lugar tuyo,
y a otros pueblos por tu vida.
5 No temas, porque yo estoy contigo(P);
del oriente traeré tu descendencia[c](Q),
y del occidente te reuniré(R).
6 Diré al norte: «Entrégalos;»
y al sur(S): «No los retengas».
Trae a mis hijos desde lejos
y a mis hijas(T) desde los confines de la tierra(U),
7 a todo el que es llamado por mi nombre(V)
y a quien he creado para mi gloria(W),
a quien he formado y[d] a quien he hecho(X).
8 Sacad[e] al pueblo ciego, aunque tiene ojos,
y a los sordos, aunque tienen oídos(Y).
9 Todas las naciones a una se han reunido
y se han congregado los pueblos(Z).
¿Quién de ellos declarará esto
y nos proclamará las cosas anteriores(AA)?
Que presenten sus testigos(AB) y que se justifiquen,
que oigan y digan: Es verdad(AC).
10 Vosotros sois mis testigos(AD) —declara el Señor—
y mi siervo a quien he escogido(AE),
para que me conozcáis y creáis en mí,
y entendáis que yo soy(AF).
Antes de mí no fue formado otro dios,
ni después de mí lo habrá(AG).
11 Yo, yo soy el Señor,
y fuera de mí no hay salvador(AH).
12 Yo soy el que lo he anunciado, he salvado y lo he proclamado,
y no hay entre vosotros dios extraño(AI);
vosotros, pues, sois mis testigos —declara el Señor—
y yo soy Dios.
13 Aun desde la eternidad[f](AJ), yo soy(AK),
y no hay quien libre de mi mano(AL);
yo actúo, ¿y quién lo revocará(AM)?
14 Así dice el Señor vuestro Redentor, el Santo de Israel(AN):
Por vuestra causa envié a Babilonia
e hice descender como fugitivos a todos ellos,
[g]es decir, a los caldeos(AO), en las naves de las cuales se gloriaban[h](AP).
15 Yo soy el Señor, vuestro Santo,
el Creador de Israel(AQ), vuestro Rey(AR).
16 Así dice el Señor,
que abre camino en el mar
y sendero en las aguas impetuosas(AS);
17 el que hace salir carro y caballo(AT),
ejército y fuerza
(a una se echarán y no se levantarán,
como pabilo han sido apagados y extinguidos)(AU):
18 No recordéis las cosas anteriores
ni consideréis las cosas del pasado(AV).
19 He aquí, hago algo nuevo(AW),
ahora acontece;
¿no lo percibís?
Aun en los desiertos haré camino
y ríos en el yermo(AX).
20 Me glorificarán las bestias del campo,
los chacales(AY) y los avestruces,
porque he puesto aguas en los desiertos
y ríos en el yermo(AZ),
para dar de beber a mi pueblo escogido.
21 El pueblo que yo he formado para mí(BA)
proclamará mi alabanza(BB).
22 Pero no me has invocado, Jacob,
sino que te has cansado de mí(BC), Israel.
23 No me has traído las ovejas de tus holocaustos(BD),
ni me has honrado con tus sacrificios(BE).
No te he abrumado exigiendo[i] ofrendas[j](BF),
ni te he cansado exigiendo[k] incienso(BG).
24 No me has comprado con dinero caña aromática[l](BH),
ni con la grosura de tus sacrificios me has saciado;
por el contrario me has abrumado con tus pecados,
y me has cansado con tus iniquidades(BI).
25 Yo, yo soy el que borro tus transgresiones(BJ) por amor a mí mismo(BK),
y no recordaré tus pecados(BL).
26 Hazme recordar, discutamos juntos nuestro caso(BM);
habla tú para justificarte(BN).
27 Tu primer padre(BO) pecó,
y tus voceros[m] prevaricaron[n] contra mí(BP).
28 Por tanto, profanaré[o] a los príncipes del santuario[p],
y entregaré a Jacob al anatema(BQ) y a Israel al oprobio(BR).
