66 Така казва Господ: Небето Ми е престол, И земята е Мое подножие; Какъв дом искате да построите за Мене? И какво ще бъде мястото на Моя покой?
2 Защото Моята ръка е направила всичко това, И <по тоя начин> всичко това е станало, казва Господ; Но пак, на този ще погледна, На оня, който е сиромах и съкрушен духом, И който трепери от словото Ми.
3 Който коли вол е както оня, който убива човек, - Който жертвува агне както оня, който пресича врат на куче, - Който принася хлебен принос <както оня, който принася> свинска кръв, - Който кади възпоменателен ливан както оня, който благославя идол. Да! както те са избрали своите пътища, И душата им се наслаждава в гнусотиите им,
4 Така и Аз ще избера мечтанията им, И ще докарам върху тях ония неща, от които те се боят; Защото, когато виках, никой не отговаряше, Когато говорех, те не слушаха; Но вършеха това, което бе зло пред Мене, И избираха онова, което Ми бе неугодно.
5 Вие, които треперите от словото на Господа, Слушайте словото Му, <като казва:> Братята ви, които ви мразят, които ви отхвърлят поради Моето име, Са рекли: Господ нека прослави Себе Си, Та да видим вашата радост! Но те ще се посрамят.
6 Шумен глас <се чува> от града, Глас от храма, Глас на Господа, Който въздава на враговете Си.
7 Преди да се замъчи, тя роди; Преди да дойдат болките й, освободи се и роди мъжко.
8 Кой е чул такова нещо? кой е видял такива? Родила ли би се една земя в един ден? Или родил ли би се един народ отведнъж? Но сионската <дъщеря> щом се замъчи роди чадата си.
9 Аз, Който довеждам до раждане, Не бих ли направил да роди? казва Господ; Аз, Който правя да раждат, Затворил ли бих <утробата>? казва твоят Бог.
10 Развеселете се с ерусалимската <дъщеря>, И радвайте се с нея, всички вие, които я обичате; Развеселете се с нея в радостта й, Всички вие, които скърбите за нея;
11 За да сучите и се наситите От съсците на утешенията й. За да се насучите и се насладите От изобилието на славата й.
12 Защото така казва Господ: Ето, ще простирам към нея мир като река, И славата на народите като прелял поток; Тогава ще се насучите, Ще бъдете носени на обятия, И ще бъдете галени на колена.
13 Както един, когото утешава майка му, Така Аз ще ви утеша; И ще се утешите в Ерусалим.
14 Ще видите това, и сърцето ви ще се зарадва, И костите ви ще виреят като зелена трева; И ще се познае, че ръката на Господа е за слугите Му, А гневът Му против враговете Му.
15 Защото, ето, Господ ще дойде с огън, И колесниците Му ще бъдат като вихрушка, За да излее гнева Си с ярост, И изобличението Си с огнени пламъци,
16 Защото с огън и с ножа Си Ще се съди Господ с всяка твар; И убитите от Господа ще бъдат много.
17 Ония, които се освещават и очистват <за да отиват> в градините След една <ашера> в средата, Като ядат свинско месо и гнусотии и мишки, Те всички ще загинат, казва Господ.
18 Защото Аз <зная> делата им и помислите им, И иде <времето>, когато ще събера всичките народи и езици; И те ще дойдат и ще видят славата Ми.
19 И Аз ще поставя знамение между тях; И ония от тях, които се отърват, ще ги изпратя в народите - В Тарсис, Фул и Луд, които теглят лък, В Тувал и Яван, далечните острови, Които не са чули слуха Ми, Нито са видели славата Ми; И те ще изявяват славата Ми между народите.
20 И ще доведат всичките ви братя От всичките народи за принос Господу, - На коне, на колесници и на носилки, На мъски и на бързи камили, - Към светия Ми хълм, Ерусалим, казва Господ, Както израилтяните донасят принос В чист съд в дома Господен.
21 Па и от тях ще взема За свещеници <и> за левити, казва Господ.
22 Защото, както новото небе И новата земя, които Аз ще направя, Ще пребъдат пред Мене, казва Господ, Така ще пребъде родът ви и името ви.
23 И от новолуние до новолуние, И от събота до събота, Ще дохожда всяка твар да се покланя пред Мене, Казва Господ.
24 И като излязат те ще видят труповете на човеците, Които са престъпили против Мене; Защото техният червей няма да умре, Нито ще угасне огънят им; И те ще бъдат гнусни на всяка твар.

66 JEHOVA dijo así: El cielo es mi solio, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿dónde está la casa que me habréis de edificar, y dónde este lugar de mi reposo?
2 Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, y así todas estas cosas fueron, dice Jehová: mas á aquél miraré que es pobre y humilde de espíritu, y que tiembla á mi palabra.
3 El que sacrifica buey, como si matase un hombre; el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro; el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco; el que ofrece perfume, como si bendijese á un ídolo. Y pues escogieron sus caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones.
4 También yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; hablé, y no oyeron; antes hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que á mí desagrada.
5 Oid palabra de Jehová, vosotros los que tembláis á su palabra: Vuestros hermanos los que os aborrecen, y os niegan por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Glorifíquese Jehová. Mas él se mostrará con alegría vuestra, y ellos serán confundidos.
6 Voz de alboroto de la ciudad, voz del templo, voz de Jehová que da el pago á sus enemigos.
7 Antes que estuviese de parto, parió; antes que le viniesen dolores parió hijo.
8 ¿Quién oyó cosa semejante? ¿quién vió cosa tal? ¿parirá la tierra en un día? ¿nacerá una nación de una vez? Pues en cuanto Sión estuvo de parto, parió sus hijos.
9 ¿Yo que hago parir, no pariré? dijo Jehová. ¿Yo que hago engendrar, seré detenido? dice el Dios tuyo.
10 Alegraos con Jerusalem, y gozaos con ella, todos los que la amáis: llenaos con ella de gozo, todos los que os enlutáis por ella:
11 Para que maméis y os saciéis de los pechos de sus consolaciones; para que ordeñéis, y os deleitéis con el resplandor de su gloria.
12 Porque así dice Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo sobre ella paz como un río, y la gloria de las gentes como un arroyo que sale de madre; y mamaréis, y sobre el lado seréis traídos, y sobre las rodillas seréis regalados.
13 Como aquel á quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré yo á vosotros, y en Jerusalem tomaréis consuelo.
14 Y veréis, y alegraráse vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos reverdecerán como la hierba: y la mano de Jehová para con sus siervos será conocida, y se airará contra sus enemigos.
15 Porque he aquí que Jehová vendrá con fuego, y sus carros como torbellino, para tornar su ira en furor, y su reprensión en llama de fuego.
16 Porque Jehová juzgará con fuego y con su espada á toda carne: y los muertos de Jehová serán multiplicados.
17 Los que se santifican y los que se purifican en los huertos, unos tras otros, los que comen carne de puerco, y abominación, y ratón; juntamente serán talados, dice Jehová.
18 Porque yo entiendo sus obras y sus pensamientos: tiempo vendrá para juntar todas las gentes y lenguas; y vendrán, y verán mi gloria.
19 Y pondré entre ellos señal, y enviaré de los escapados de ellos á las gentes, á Tarsis, á Pul y Lud, que disparan arco, á Tubal y á Javán, á las islas apartadas que no oyeron de mí, ni vieron mi gloria; y publicarán mi gloria entre las gentes.
20 Y traerán á todos vuestros hermanos de entre todas las naciones, por presente á Jehová, en caballos, en carros, en literas, y en mulos, y en camellos, á mi santo monte de Jerusalem, dice Jehová, al modo que los hijos de Israel traen el presente en vasos limpios á la casa de Jehová.
21 Y tomaré también de ellos para sacerdotes y Levitas, dice Jehová.
22 Porque como los cielos nuevos y la nueva tierra, que yo hago, permanecen delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra simiente y vuestro nombre.
23 Y será que de mes en mes, y de sábado en sábado, vendrá toda carne á adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová.
24 Y saldrán, y verán los cadáveres de los hombres que se rebelaron contra mí: porque su gusano nunca morirá, ni su fuego se apagará; y serán abominables á toda carne.

Judgment and Hope
66 This is what the Lord says:
“Heaven is my throne,(A)
and the earth is my footstool.(B)
Where is the house(C) you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
2 Has not my hand made all these things,(D)
and so they came into being?”
declares the Lord.
“These are the ones I look on with favor:
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,(E)
and who tremble at my word.(F)
3 But whoever sacrifices a bull(G)
is like one who kills a person,
and whoever offers a lamb
is like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
whoever makes a grain offering
is like one who presents pig’s(H) blood,
and whoever burns memorial incense(I)
is like one who worships an idol.
They have chosen their own ways,(J)
and they delight in their abominations;(K)
4 so I also will choose harsh treatment for them
and will bring on them what they dread.(L)
For when I called, no one answered,(M)
when I spoke, no one listened.
They did evil(N) in my sight
and chose what displeases me.”(O)
5 Hear the word of the Lord,
you who tremble at his word:(P)
“Your own people who hate(Q) you,
and exclude you because of my name, have said,
‘Let the Lord be glorified,
that we may see your joy!’
Yet they will be put to shame.(R)
6 Hear that uproar from the city,
hear that noise from the temple!
It is the sound(S) of the Lord
repaying(T) his enemies all they deserve.
7 “Before she goes into labor,(U)
she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her,
she delivers a son.(V)
8 Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen(W) things like this?
Can a country be born in a day(X)
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.(Y)
9 Do I bring to the moment of birth(Z)
and not give delivery?” says the Lord.
“Do I close up the womb
when I bring to delivery?” says your God.
10 “Rejoice(AA) with Jerusalem and be glad for her,
all you who love(AB) her;
rejoice greatly with her,
all you who mourn(AC) over her.
11 For you will nurse(AD) and be satisfied
at her comforting breasts;(AE)
you will drink deeply
and delight in her overflowing abundance.”(AF)
12 For this is what the Lord says:
“I will extend peace(AG) to her like a river,(AH)
and the wealth(AI) of nations like a flooding stream;
you will nurse and be carried(AJ) on her arm
and dandled on her knees.
13 As a mother comforts her child,(AK)
so will I comfort(AL) you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”
14 When you see this, your heart will rejoice(AM)
and you will flourish(AN) like grass;
the hand(AO) of the Lord will be made known to his servants,(AP)
but his fury(AQ) will be shown to his foes.
15 See, the Lord is coming with fire,(AR)
and his chariots(AS) are like a whirlwind;(AT)
he will bring down his anger with fury,
and his rebuke(AU) with flames of fire.
16 For with fire(AV) and with his sword(AW)
the Lord will execute judgment(AX) on all people,
and many will be those slain(AY) by the Lord.
17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens,(AZ) following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs,(BA) rats(BB) and other unclean things—they will meet their end(BC) together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.
18 “And I, because of what they have planned and done,(BD) am about to come[a] and gather the people of all nations(BE) and languages, and they will come and see my glory.(BF)
19 “I will set a sign(BG) among them, and I will send some of those who survive(BH) to the nations—to Tarshish,(BI) to the Libyans[b] and Lydians(BJ) (famous as archers), to Tubal(BK) and Greece,(BL) and to the distant islands(BM) that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory.(BN) They will proclaim my glory among the nations. 20 And they will bring(BO) all your people, from all the nations, to my holy mountain(BP) in Jerusalem as an offering to the Lord—on horses, in chariots and wagons, and on mules and camels,”(BQ) says the Lord. “They will bring them, as the Israelites bring their grain offerings, to the temple of the Lord in ceremonially clean vessels.(BR) 21 And I will select some of them also to be priests(BS) and Levites,” says the Lord.
22 “As the new heavens and the new earth(BT) that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure.(BU) 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath(BV) to another, all mankind will come and bow down(BW) before me,” says the Lord. 24 “And they will go out and look on the dead bodies(BX) of those who rebelled(BY) against me; the worms(BZ) that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched,(CA) and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
