Спасение для всех послушных Всевышнему
56 Так говорит Вечный:
– Храните правосудие
и творите правду,
потому что скоро придёт спасение Моё,
и откроется правда Моя.
2 Благословен человек, который так поступает,
крепко этого держится,
хранит неосквернённой субботу[a],
от зла удерживает руку свою.
3 Пусть никто из чужеземцев, присоединившихся к Вечному, не говорит:
«Боюсь, Вечный отделит меня от Своего народа».
Пусть ни один евнух не сетует:
«Я – только засохшее дерево».
4 Ведь так говорит Вечный:
– Евнухам, хранящим Мои субботы,
избирающим то, что Мне угодно,
и крепко держащимся соглашения со Мною,
5 Я дам в Моём храме и его стенах
памятный знак и имя,
и это будет лучше,
чем иметь сыновей и дочерей.
Имя, которое Я им дам, – вечное имя;
оно никогда не исчезнет.
6 А чужеземцев, присоединившихся к Вечному,
чтобы служить Ему,
любить имя Вечного
и поклоняться Ему,
всех, кто хранит неосквернённой субботу,
и крепко держится соглашения со Мною,
7 Я приведу на Мою святую гору
и дарую им радость в Моём доме молитвы.
Их всесожжения и жертвы
будут приняты на Моём жертвеннике.
И дом Мой будет назван
домом молитвы для всех народов.
8 Так возвещает Владыка Вечный,
собирающий изгнанников Исраила:
– Я соберу к ним ещё и других,
кроме тех, кто уже собран.
Всевышний обвиняет нечестивых
9 Идите, все звери полевые,
идите и ешьте, все звери лесные!
10 Стражи[b] Исраила слепы,
все они невежды;
все они – псы немые,
лаять не могут;
они лежат и дремлют,
они любят спать.
11 Псы они ненасытные,
им никогда не наесться вдоволь.
Они пастухи безрассудные;
каждый глядит в свою сторону,
всякий ищет своей наживы.
12 «Приходите, – кричат, – я вина достану!
Напьёмся пива!
А завтра будет всё как сегодня
или даже ещё лучше».

Ermahnung an Israel, die Gebote zu halten. Auch der Fremdling darf Gott nahen
56 So spricht der Herr: Bewahrt das Recht und übt Gerechtigkeit; denn mein Heil ist nahe, um herbeizukommen, und meine Gerechtigkeit, um geoffenbart zu werden.
2 Wohl dem Menschen, der dies tut, und dem Menschenkind, das daran festhält: der den Sabbat hält, um ihn nicht zu entweihen, und seine Hand davor bewahrt, irgendetwas Böses zu tun!
3 Und der Fremdling, der sich dem Herrn angeschlossen hat, soll nicht sagen: Der Herr wird mich gewiss von seinem Volk ausschließen! Und der Verschnittene soll nicht sagen: Siehe, ich bin ein dürrer Baum![a]
4 Denn so spricht der Herr: Den Verschnittenen, die meine Sabbate halten und erwählen, was mir gefällt, und an meinem Bund festhalten,
5 denen will ich in meinem Haus und in meinen Mauern einen Platz und einen Namen geben, der besser ist als Söhne und Töchter; ich will ihnen einen ewigen Namen geben, der nicht ausgerottet werden soll.
6 Und die Fremdlinge, die sich dem Herrn anschließen, um ihm zu dienen und den Namen des Herrn zu lieben [und] um seine Knechte zu sein, und alle, die darauf achten, den Sabbat nicht zu entheiligen, und die an meinem Bund festhalten,
7 die will ich zu meinem heiligen Berg führen und sie in meinem Bethaus erfreuen; ihre Brandopfer und Schlachtopfer sollen wohlgefällig sein auf meinem Altar; denn mein Haus soll ein Bethaus für alle Völker genannt werden.
8 Gott, der Herr, der die Verstoßenen Israels sammelt, spricht: Ich will noch mehr zu ihm sammeln, zu seinen Gesammelten!

9 Kommt alle her, ihr Tiere auf dem Feld, um zu fressen, alle ihr Tiere im Wald!
10 Seine Wächter sind blind; sie wissen alle nichts; stumme Hunde sind sie, die nicht bellen können; sie liegen träumend da, schlafen gern.
11 Doch sie sind auch gierige Hunde, die nicht wissen, wann sie genug haben; und sie, die Hirten, verstehen nicht aufzupassen; sie alle wenden sich auf ihren eigenen Weg, jeder sieht auf seinen Gewinn, ohne Ausnahme.
12 »Kommt her«, sagen sie, »ich will Wein holen, lasst uns Rauschtrank saufen, und morgen soll es gehen wie heute, ja noch viel großartiger!«

56 This is what the Lord says:
“Maintain justice(A)
and do what is right,(B)
for my salvation(C) is close at hand
and my righteousness(D) will soon be revealed.
2 Blessed(E) is the one who does this—
the person who holds it fast,
who keeps the Sabbath(F) without desecrating it,
and keeps their hands from doing any evil.”
3 Let no foreigner(G) who is bound to the Lord say,
“The Lord will surely exclude me from his people.”(H)
And let no eunuch(I) complain,
“I am only a dry tree.”
4 For this is what the Lord says:
“To the eunuchs(J) who keep my Sabbaths,
who choose what pleases me
and hold fast to my covenant(K)—
5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls(L)
a memorial(M) and a name
better than sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting name(N)
that will endure forever.(O)
6 And foreigners(P) who bind themselves to the Lord
to minister(Q) to him,
to love the name(R) of the Lord,
and to be his servants,
all who keep the Sabbath(S) without desecrating it
and who hold fast to my covenant—
7 these I will bring to my holy mountain(T)
and give them joy in my house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and sacrifices(U)
will be accepted on my altar;
for my house will be called
a house of prayer for all nations.(V)”(W)
8 The Sovereign Lord declares—
he who gathers the exiles of Israel:
“I will gather(X) still others to them
besides those already gathered.”

9 Come, all you beasts of the field,(Y)
come and devour, all you beasts of the forest!
10 Israel’s watchmen(Z) are blind,
they all lack knowledge;(AA)
they are all mute dogs,
they cannot bark;
they lie around and dream,
they love to sleep.(AB)
11 They are dogs with mighty appetites;
they never have enough.
They are shepherds(AC) who lack understanding;(AD)
they all turn to their own way,(AE)
they seek their own gain.(AF)
12 “Come,” each one cries, “let me get wine!(AG)
Let us drink our fill of beer!
And tomorrow will be like today,
or even far better.”(AH)

56 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.
10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
