²¹И Господ каза на Моисея: Когато се завърнеш в Египет, внимавай да вършиш пред Фараона всичките чудеса, които дадох в ръката ти; но Аз ще закоравя сърцето му, и той няма да пусне людете.

²²А ти кажи на Фараона: Така говори Иеова: Израил ми е син, първородният ми;

²³и казвам ти: Пусни сина Ми да Ми послужи; но ако откажеш да го пуснеш, ето, Аз ще заколя твоя син, първородния ти.

²¹The Lord said to Moses, “When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders^(A) I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart^(B) so that he will not let the people go.^(C) ²²Then say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: Israel is my firstborn son,^(D) ²³and I told you, “Let my son go,^(E) so he may worship^(F) me.” But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.’”^(G)

But ^(B)I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. ²²Then you shall ^(C)say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord: ^(D)“Israel is My son, ^(E)My firstborn. ²³So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed ^(F)I will kill your son, your firstborn.” ’ ”
