11 (A)Но те не искаха да се вслушат, проявиха упорство и си запушиха ушите, за да не чуват. 12 Дори сърцата им се вкамениха, за да не слушат закона и думите, които Господ Вседържител беше пратил посредством Своя Дух чрез предишните пророци; затова и дойде големият гняв на Господ Вседържител. 13 И стана така: както Той викаше, а те не слушаха, така и те викаха, но Аз не ги слушах, казва Господа Вседържителя.

11 “But they refused to pay attention; stubbornly(A) they turned their backs(B) and covered their ears.(C) 12 They made their hearts as hard as flint(D) and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets.(E) So the Lord Almighty was very angry.(F)
13 “‘When I called, they did not listen;(G) so when they called, I would not listen,’(H) says the Lord Almighty.(I)

12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.
13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

(E)Thus great wrath came from the Lord of hosts. 13 Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so (F)they called out and I would not listen,” says the Lord of hosts.
