54 Al músico principal. Con Neguinot[a]. Masquil[b] de David, cuando fueron los de Zif y dijeron a Saúl: “¿Acaso no está David
escondido entre nosotros?”.
Oh Dios, sálvame por tu nombre
y defiéndeme con tu poder.
2 Oh Dios, escucha mi oración; atiende a las palabras de mi boca.
3 Porque los extraños se han levantado contra mí,
y los violentos buscan mi vida.
No toman en cuenta a Dios. Selah[c]
4 He aquí, Dios es quien me ayuda;
el Señor está con los que sostienen
mi vida.
5 Él hará volver el mal contra mis enemigos.
¡Destrúyelos por tu verdad!
6 Voluntariamente te ofreceré
sacrificios.
Daré gracias a tu nombre, oh SEÑOR, porque es bueno;
7 porque me has librado de toda angustia.
Mis ojos han visto la derrota
de mis enemigos.

54 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
