Царь вскричал:
– Да что же это такое, он ещё вздумал изнасиловать царицу прямо в моём дворце?!
Едва лишь слово слетело с уст царя, Аману накрыли лицо. 9 И Харбона, один из евнухов, прислуживавших царю, сказал:
– Вот и виселица высотой в двадцать два метра[a] стоит у Аманова дома; он приготовил её для Мардохея, чьё слово спасло царя.
Царь сказал:
– Вот и повесьте его на ней!
10 И Амана повесили на виселице, которую он приготовил для Мардохея. И ярость царя улеглась.

8 Just as the king returned from the palace garden to the banquet hall, Haman was falling on the couch(A) where Esther was reclining.(B)
The king exclaimed, “Will he even molest the queen while she is with me in the house?”(C)
As soon as the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.(D) 9 Then Harbona,(E) one of the eunuchs attending the king, said, “A pole reaching to a height of fifty cubits[a](F) stands by Haman’s house. He had it set up for Mordecai, who spoke up to help the king.”
The king said, “Impale him on it!”(G) 10 So they impaled(H) Haman(I) on the pole(J) he had set up for Mordecai.(K) Then the king’s fury subsided.(L)

9 And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.

As the word left the king’s mouth, they (B)covered Haman’s face. 9 Now (C)Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! (D)The [a]gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke (E)good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.”
Then the king said, “Hang him on it!”
10 So (F)they (G)hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.
