Пророчество о Гоге
38 Было ко мне слово Вечного:
2 – Смертный, обрати лицо к Гогу в земле Магог, верховному правителю[a] Мешеха и Тувала. Пророчествуй против него 3 и скажи: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я – твой враг, о Гог, верховный правитель Мешеха и Тувала. 4 Я поверну тебя обратно, продену в твои челюсти крюки, выведу тебя и твою рать: коней, всадников во всеоружии и огромное полчище с большими и малыми щитами – всех, владеющих мечом, 5 а с ними Персию, Эфиопию и Ливию[b], всех со щитами и в шлемах, 6 Гомера с его воинами и Бет-Тогарму с окраин севера с её воинами – многие народы с тобою.
7 Готовься и снаряжайся, ты сам и все полчища, которые собрались к тебе. Встань во главе их. 8 Спустя много дней тебя позовут действовать. В последние годы ты вторгнешься в страну, которая оправилась после войны, чей народ был собран к горам Исраила от многих народов, и которая долго находилась в запустении. Её обитатели были уведены от других народов и теперь живут в безопасности. 9 Ты со своими воинами и многими народами поднимешься и придёшь, словно смерч; ты будешь, как туча, что закрывает землю».
10 Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «В тот день тебя одолеют плохие мысли, и ты задумаешь коварный план. 11 Ты скажешь: „Пойду на край неограждённых селений. Нападу на мирный народ, который живёт безопасно: они живут без стен, нет у них ни засовов, ни ворот. 12 Буду грабить и расхищать; обращу руку против вновь заселённых развалин и против людей, собранных из чужих народов, что богаты скотом и добром и живут посреди земли“. 13 Шева и Дедан, купцы и все молодые воины[c] Фарсиса спросят тебя: „Ты пришёл грабить? Ты собрал полчища, чтобы расхищать, уносить золото и серебро, отнимать скот и добро, и брать богатую добычу?“»
14 Поэтому, смертный, пророчествуй и скажи Гогу: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «В день, когда Мой народ Исраил будет жить в безопасности, разве ты не узнаешь об этом? 15 Ты выйдешь из своих мест, что на окраине севера, ты сам и многие народы с тобой, что ездят на конях и составляют огромное полчище, могучую рать. 16 Ты двинешься на Мой народ Исраил подобно туче, что закрывает землю. В будущие дни, Гог, Я пошлю тебя на Мою землю, чтобы народы познали Меня, когда Я явлю через тебя Мою святость у них на глазах».
17 Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Разве не о тебе Я издревле говорил через Моих рабов, пророков Исраила? Они годами пророчествовали в те времена о том, что Я нашлю тебя на них. 18 Вот что случится в этот день: когда Гог нападёт на Исраил, Мой пылающий гнев вспыхнет, – возвещает Владыка Вечный. – 19 В ревности и пылающем гневе Своём Я возвещаю: в это время в земле Исраила произойдёт страшное землетрясение. 20 Рыбы в морях, птицы в небе, звери в лесу, всякое пресмыкающееся, что ползает по земле, и все люди на земле затрепещут предо Мной. Горы рухнут, скалы низвергнутся, и всякая стена повалится на землю. 21 Я призову меч сражаться против Гога на всех Моих горах, – возвещает Владыка Вечный. – Каждый его воин обнажит меч на соратника. 22 Я покараю его мором и кровопролитием. Я обрушу на него, на его воинства и многие народы неистовый ливень, град и горящую серу. 23 Я явлю Своё величие и святость и откроюсь многим народам. Тогда они узнают, что Я – Вечный».

38 Vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: 2 Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro contra Gog en tierra de Magog,(A) príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal, y profetiza contra él, 3 y di: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: He aquí, yo estoy contra ti, oh Gog, príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal. 4 Y te quebrantaré, y pondré garfios en tus quijadas, y te sacaré a ti y a todo tu ejército, caballos y jinetes, de todo en todo equipados, gran multitud con paveses y escudos, teniendo todos ellos espadas; 5 Persia, Cus y Fut con ellos; todos ellos con escudo y yelmo; 6 Gomer, y todas sus tropas; la casa de Togarma, de los confines del norte, y todas sus tropas; muchos pueblos contigo.
7 Prepárate y apercíbete, tú y toda tu multitud que se ha reunido a ti, y sé tú su guarda. 8 De aquí a muchos días serás visitado; al cabo de años vendrás a la tierra salvada de la espada, recogida de muchos pueblos, a los montes de Israel, que siempre fueron una desolación; mas fue sacada de las naciones, y todos ellos morarán confiadamente. 9 Subirás tú, y vendrás como tempestad; como nublado para cubrir la tierra serás tú y todas tus tropas, y muchos pueblos contigo.
10 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: En aquel día subirán palabras en tu corazón, y concebirás mal pensamiento, 11 y dirás: Subiré contra una tierra indefensa, iré contra gentes tranquilas que habitan confiadamente; todas ellas habitan sin muros, y no tienen cerrojos ni puertas; 12 para arrebatar despojos y para tomar botín, para poner tus manos sobre las tierras desiertas ya pobladas, y sobre el pueblo recogido de entre las naciones, que se hace de ganado y posesiones, que mora en la parte central de la tierra. 13 Sabá y Dedán, y los mercaderes de Tarsis y todos sus príncipes, te dirán: ¿Has venido a arrebatar despojos? ¿Has reunido tu multitud para tomar botín, para quitar plata y oro, para tomar ganados y posesiones, para tomar grandes despojos?
14 Por tanto, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di a Gog: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: En aquel tiempo, cuando mi pueblo Israel habite con seguridad, ¿no lo sabrás tú? 15 Vendrás de tu lugar, de las regiones del norte, tú y muchos pueblos contigo, todos ellos a caballo, gran multitud y poderoso ejército, 16 y subirás contra mi pueblo Israel como nublado para cubrir la tierra; será al cabo de los días; y te traeré sobre mi tierra, para que las naciones me conozcan, cuando sea santificado en ti, oh Gog, delante de sus ojos.
17 Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: ¿No eres tú aquel de quien hablé yo en tiempos pasados por mis siervos los profetas de Israel, los cuales profetizaron en aquellos tiempos que yo te había de traer sobre ellos? 18 En aquel tiempo, cuando venga Gog contra la tierra de Israel, dijo Jehová el Señor, subirá mi ira y mi enojo. 19 Porque he hablado en mi celo, y en el fuego de mi ira: Que en aquel tiempo habrá gran temblor sobre la tierra de Israel; 20 que los peces del mar, las aves del cielo, las bestias del campo y toda serpiente que se arrastra sobre la tierra, y todos los hombres que están sobre la faz de la tierra, temblarán ante mi presencia; y se desmoronarán los montes, y los vallados caerán, y todo muro caerá a tierra. 21 Y en todos mis montes llamaré contra él la espada, dice Jehová el Señor; la espada de cada cual será contra su hermano. 22 Y yo litigaré contra él con pestilencia y con sangre; y haré llover sobre él, sobre sus tropas y sobre los muchos pueblos que están con él, impetuosa lluvia, y piedras de granizo, fuego y azufre. 23 Y seré engrandecido y santificado, y seré conocido ante los ojos de muchas naciones; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

The Lord’s Great Victory Over the Nations
38 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog,(A) of the land of Magog,(B) the chief prince of[a] Meshek and Tubal;(C) prophesy against him 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of[b] Meshek and Tubal.(D) 4 I will turn you around, put hooks(E) in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.(F) 5 Persia, Cush[c](G) and Put(H) will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer(I) with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah(J) from the far north(K) with all its troops—the many nations with you.
7 “‘Get ready; be prepared,(L) you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. 8 After many days(M) you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations(N) to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety.(O) 9 You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm;(P) you will be like a cloud(Q) covering the land.(R)
10 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind(S) and you will devise an evil scheme.(T) 11 You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people(U)—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.(V) 12 I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.[d]” 13 Sheba(W) and Dedan(X) and the merchants of Tarshish(Y) and all her villages[e] will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?(Z)”’
14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety,(AA) will you not take notice of it? 15 You will come from your place in the far north,(AB) you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army.(AC) 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud(AD) that covers the land.(AE) In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy(AF) through you before their eyes.(AG)
17 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You are the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel. At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. 18 This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign Lord. 19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake(AH) in the land of Israel.(AI) 20 The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble(AJ) at my presence. The mountains will be overturned,(AK) the cliffs will crumble(AL) and every wall will fall to the ground.(AM) 21 I will summon a sword(AN) against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother.(AO) 22 I will execute judgment(AP) on him with plague and bloodshed;(AQ) I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones(AR) and burning sulfur(AS) on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.(AT) 23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.(AU)’
