Суд над вождями Исраила
11 Дух поднял меня и перенёс к тем воротам дома Вечного, что смотрят на восток. Там, у входа в ворота, стояло двадцать пять человек, и среди них я увидел Иазанию, сына Аззура, и Пелатию, сына Бенаи, вождей народа.
2 Вечный сказал мне:
– Смертный, вот люди, которые замышляют зло и дают в этом городе злые советы. 3 Они говорят: «Разве не скоро наступит время, благоприятное для строительства домов?[a] Этот город – котёл, а мы – мясо, хранящееся в нём». 4 Поэтому пророчествуй против них; пророчествуй, смертный.
5 Дух Вечного сошёл на меня и сказал мне:
– Скажи: Так говорит Вечный: «Вот о чём вы думаете, народ Исраила. Я знаю то, что приходит вам на ум. 6 Вы многих убили в этом городе и завалили его улицы трупами». 7 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Да, этот город – котёл, но мясо – это ваши убитые, которых вы положили в нём. Вас же Я изгоню из него. 8 Вы страшитесь меча, и Я нашлю на вас меч, – возвещает Владыка Вечный. – 9 Я изгоню вас из города, отдам во власть чужеземцев и исполню над вами приговор. 10 Вы падёте от меча; Я буду судить вас на границе Исраила[b]. Тогда вы узнаете, что Я – Вечный. 11 Этот город не будет для вас котлом, а вы не будете в нём мясом; Я буду судить вас на границе Исраила. 12 Тогда вы узнаете, что Я – Вечный, потому что вы не соблюдали Моих установлений и не исполняли законов, но поступали по обычаям народов, которые вокруг вас».
13 Пока я пророчествовал, Пелатия, сын Бенаи, умер. Тогда я пал лицом на землю и громко закричал:
– О Владыка Вечный! Неужели Ты до конца погубишь всех оставшихся в живых в Исраиле?
Утешение пленникам
14 Было ко мне слово Вечного:
15 – Смертный, твои сородичи, твоя родня, те, кто разделил с тобой плен,[c] и весь народ Исраила – это те, о ком жители Иерусалима говорят: «Они далеко от Вечного; теперь эта земля принадлежит только нам».
16 – Поэтому скажи: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Хотя Я и изгнал их к другим народам и рассеял по странам, Я Сам, на время их изгнания, буду их святилищем в тех странах, куда они ушли».
17 Поэтому скажи: Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я соберу вас из народов и верну из стран, в которых вы были рассеяны, и опять отдам вам землю Исраила. 18 Когда вы вернётесь туда, вы очистите её от гнусных истуканов и омерзительных идолов. 19 Я дам вам единое сердце и вложу в вас новый дух; Я возьму у вас упрямое сердце и дам вам сердце чуткое. 20 Тогда вы будете соблюдать Мои установления, хранить Мои законы и исполнять их. Вы будете Моим народом, а Я буду вашим Богом. 21 Но на головы тех, чьи сердца обращены к их гнусным истуканам и омерзительным идолам, Я обрушу то, что они заслужили», – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
Слава Вечного покидает Иерусалим
22 И херувимы, с колёсами возле них, расправили крылья, и слава Бога Исраила была над ними. 23 Слава Вечного поднялась из города и остановилась над горой к востоку от него. 24 Дух поднял меня и перенёс к пленникам в Вавилон в видении, которое было дано Духом Всевышнего.
Потом видение, которое я видел, покинуло меня, 25 и я рассказал пленникам обо всём, что показал мне Вечный.

11 Y EL espíritu me elevó, y metióme por la puerta oriental de la casa de Jehová, la cual mira hacia el oriente: y he aquí á la entrada de la puerta veinticinco varones, entre los cuales vi á Jaazanías hijo de Azur, y á Pelatías hijo de Benaías, príncipes del pueblo.
2 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, estos son los hombres que maquinan perversidad, y dan en esta ciudad mal consejo;
3 Los cuales dicen: No será tan presto: edifiquemos casas: ésta será la caldera, y nosotros la carne.
4 Por tanto profetiza contra ellos, profetiza, hijo del hombre.
5 Y cayó sobre mí el espíritu de Jehová, y díjome: Di: Así ha dicho Jehová: Así habéis hablado, oh casa de Israel, y las cosas que suben á vuestro espíritu, yo las he entendido.
6 Habéis multiplicado vuestros muertos en esta ciudad, y habéis henchido de muertos sus calles.
7 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Vuestros muertos que habéis puesto en medio de ella, ellos son la carne, y ella es la caldera; mas yo os sacaré á vosotros de en medio de ella.
8 Cuchillo habéis temido, y cuchillo traeré sobre vosotros, dice el Señor Jehová.
9 Y os sacaré de en medio de ella, y os entregaré en manos de extraños, y yo haré juicios en vosotros.
10 A cuchillo caeréis; en el término de Israel os juzgaré, y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
11 Esta no os será por caldera, ni vosotros seréis en medio de ella la carne: en el término de Israel os tengo de juzgar.
12 Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová: porque no habéis andado en mis ordenanzas, ni habéis hecho mis juicios, sino según los juicios de las gentes que están en vuestros alrededores habéis hecho.
13 Y aconteció que, estando yo profetizando, Pelatías hijo de Benaías murió. Entonces caí sobre mi rostro, y clamé con grande voz, y dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿harás tú consumación del resto de Israel?
14 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
15 Hijo del hombre, tus hermanos, tus hermanos, los hombres de tu parentesco y toda la casa de Israel, toda ella son aquellos á quienes dijeron los moradores de Jerusalem: Alejaos de Jehová; á nosotros es dada la tierra en posesión.
16 Por tanto di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Aunque los he echado lejos entre las gentes, y los he esparcido por las tierras, con todo eso les seré por un pequeño santuario en las tierras á donde llegaren.
17 Di por tanto: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo os recogeré de los pueblos, y os allegaré de las tierras en las cuales estáis esparcidos, y os daré la tierra de Israel.
18 Y vendrán allá, y quitarán de ella todas sus torpezas, y todas sus abominaciones.
19 Y darles he un corazón, y espíritu nuevo daré en sus entrañas; y quitaré el corazón de piedra de su carne, y daréles corazón de carne;
20 Para que anden en mis ordenanzas, y guarden mis juicios y los cumplan, y me sean por pueblo, y yo sea á ellos por Dios.
21 Mas á aquellos cuyo corazón anda tras el deseo de sus torpezas y de sus abominaciones, yo tornaré su camino sobre sus cabezas, dice el Señor Jehová.
22 Después alzaron los querubines sus alas, y las ruedas en pos de ellos; y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba sobre ellos encima.
23 Y la gloria de Jehová se fué de en medio de la ciudad, y paró sobre el monte que está al oriente de la ciudad.
24 Luego me levantó el espíritu, y volvióme á llevar en visión del espíritu de Dios á la tierra de los Caldeos, á los trasportados. Y partióse de mí la visión que había visto.
25 Y hablé á los trasportados todas las palabras de Jehová que él me había mostrado.

God’s Sure Judgment on Jerusalem
11 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the Lord that faces east. There at the entrance of the gate were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah(A) son of Benaiah, leaders(B) of the people.(C) 2 The Lord said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who are plotting evil(D) and giving wicked advice in this city.(E) 3 They say, ‘Haven’t our houses been recently rebuilt? This city is a pot,(F) and we are the meat in it.’(G) 4 Therefore prophesy(H) against them; prophesy, son of man.”
5 Then the Spirit of the Lord came on me, and he told me to say: “This is what the Lord says: That is what you are saying, you leaders in Israel, but I know what is going through your mind.(I) 6 You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead.(J)
7 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot,(K) but I will drive you out of it.(L) 8 You fear the sword,(M) and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign Lord.(N) 9 I will drive you out of the city and deliver you into the hands(O) of foreigners and inflict punishment on you.(P) 10 You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.(Q) Then you will know that I am the Lord. 11 This city will not be a pot(R) for you, nor will you be the meat in it; I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. 12 And you will know that I am the Lord,(S) for you have not followed my decrees(T) or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.(U)”
13 Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah(V) son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?(W)”
The Promise of Israel’s Return
14 The word of the Lord came to me: 15 “Son of man, the people of Jerusalem have said of your fellow exiles and all the other Israelites, ‘They are far away from the Lord; this land was given to us as our possession.’(X)
16 “Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary(Y) for them in the countries where they have gone.’
17 “Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.’(Z)
18 “They will return to it and remove all its vile images(AA) and detestable idols.(AB) 19 I will give them an undivided heart(AC) and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone(AD) and give them a heart of flesh.(AE) 20 Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.(AF) They will be my people,(AG) and I will be their God.(AH) 21 But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols,(AI) I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign Lord.(AJ)”
22 Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory(AK) of the God of Israel was above them.(AL) 23 The glory(AM) of the Lord went up from within the city and stopped above the mountain(AN) east of it. 24 The Spirit(AO) lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia[a] in the vision(AP) given by the Spirit of God.
Then the vision I had seen went up from me, 25 and I told the exiles everything the Lord had shown me.(AQ)
