10 После погледнах, и, ето, в простора, който бе върху главите на херувимите, се яви над тях като камък сапфир, наглед като подобие на престол.
2 И той проговори на облечения в ленено мъж, казвайки: Влез между търкалящите колела под херувимите, напълни ръцете си с огнени въглища изсред херувимите, и пръсни ги върху града. И той влезе пред очите ми.
3 А херувимите стоеха отдясно на дома, когато влизаше мъжът: и облакът изпълни вътрешния двор.
4 И Господната слава се издигна от херувимите, та застана над прага на дома; и домът се изпълни от сиянието на Господната слава.
5 И фученето на крилата на херувимите се чуваше дори до външния двор, като глас на Всесилния Бог, когато Той говори.
6 И когато заповяда на облечения в ленено мъж, казвайки: Вземи огън измежду търкалящите колела, изсред херувимите, тогава той влезе та застана при едно колело.
7 И един херувим, като простря ръка изсред херувимите към огъня, който бе всред херувимите, взе от него, и тури в ръцете на облечения в ленено, който като го взе излезе.
8 А подобието на човешка ръка в херувимите се виждаше под крилата им.
9 И като погледнах, ето четири колела при херувимите, едно колело при един херувим, и едно колело при друг херувим; и изгледът на колелата бе като цвят на хрисолит.
10 А колкото за изгледа им, и четирите имаха еднакво подобие, като че ли на колело в колело.
11 Когато вървяха, вървяха към четирите си страни; не се обръщаха като вървяха, но на където се управяше първия, следваха го и другите без да се обръщат като вървяха.
12 А цялото им тяло, гърбовете им, ръцете им, крилата им, и колелата, то ест, колелата на четирите живи същества, бяха пълни с очи от всяка страна.
13 А колкото за колелата, те се наричаха, като слушах аз, търкалящи колела.
14 Всяко от живите същества имаше четири лица; първото лице бе херувимско лице; второто лице, човешко лице; третото, лъвово лице; а четвъртото, орлово лице.
15 И херувимите се издигнаха. Това е живото същество, което видях при реката Ховар.
16 И когато вървяха херувимите, и колелата вървяха край тях; и когато херувимите подигаха крилата си, за да се издигнат от земята, то и колелата не се отклоняваха от тях.
17 Когато стоеха ония, стоеха и тия; а когато се издигаха ония, издигаха се и тия заедно с тях; защото духът на всяко от живите същества беше и в тях.
18 Тогава Господната слава излезе изотгоре на прага на дома и застана над херувимите.
19 Когато излязоха, херувимите подигнаха крилата си, та се издигнах от земята, като гледах аз, и колелата край тях; и застанаха във входа на източната порта на Господния дом; и славата на Израилевия Бог бе отгоре им.
20 Това е живото същество, което видях под Израилевия Бог, при реката Ховар; и познах, че бяха херувими.
21 Всеки имаше четири лица, и всеки четири крила; и подобие на човешки ръце се виждаше под крилата им.
22 А колкото за подобието на лицата им, те бяха същите лица, които видях при реката Ховар, - изгледът им и сами те; вървяха всяко направо пред себе си.

Herrens härlighet lämnar templet
10 Jag fick se att på fästet över kerubernas huvuden fanns något som såg ut att vara av safirsten och till formen liknade en tron. Den syntes över keruberna. 2 Herren sade till mannen som var klädd i linnekläderna: "Gå in mellan hjulen, in under keruben och fyll dina händer med eldsglöd från platsen mellan keruberna och strö ut dem över staden." Och jag såg honom gå.
3 Keruberna stod till höger om huset när mannen gick in, och ett moln uppfyllde den inre förgården. 4 Men Herrens härlighet höjde sig från keruben och flyttade sig till husets tröskel. Huset uppfylldes av molnet och förgården av glansen från Herrens härlighet. 5 Dånet av kerubernas vingar hördes ända till den yttre förgården. Det var som Gud den Allsmäktiges röst då han talar. 6 När han befallde mannen som var klädd i linnekläderna att hämta eld från platsen mellan hjulen, inne mellan keruberna, gick han in och ställde sig bredvid ett av hjulen. 7 Då räckte en av keruberna ut sin hand mellan de andra keruberna till elden, som brann mellan dem, och tog av elden och lade i händerna på honom som var klädd i linnekläderna, och han tog elden och gick ut.
8 Under kerubernas vingar syntes något som hade formen av en människohand. 9 Jag fick då se fyra hjul stå invid dem, ett hjul vid var kerub. Hjulen liknade gnistrande krysolitsten. 10 Alla fyra såg likadana ut, och ett hjul tycktes vara insatt i ett annat. 11 När keruberna skulle gå, kunde de gå åt alla fyra sidorna. De behövde inte vända sig när de gick, för åt det håll huvudet vände sig, gick de andra efter, utan att de behövde vända sig när de gick. 12 Hela deras kropp, deras rygg, deras händer och vingar, ja, till och med deras fyra hjul, var fulla med ögon runt omkring. 13 Jag hörde att hjulen kallades hjulverk. 14 Var och en av keruberna hade fyra ansikten. Det första ansiktet var en kerubs ansikte, det andra en människas, det tredje ett lejons och det fjärde en örns ansikte.
15 Sedan höjde sig keruberna. Det var samma väsen som jag hade sett vid floden Kebar. 16 När keruberna gick, gick också hjulen bredvid dem, och när keruberna lyfte sina vingar för att höja sig över jorden, skilde sig inte hjulen ifrån dem. 17 När de stod stilla, stod också hjulen stilla, och när de höjde sig, höjde sig också hjulen, för väsendenas ande var i hjulen.
18 Och Herrens härlighet flyttade sig bort från husets tröskel och stannade över keruberna. 19 Då såg jag hur keruberna lyfte sina vingar och höjde sig över jorden, och när de begav sig i väg var hjulen med dem. De stannade vid ingången till östra porten av Herrens hus, och härligheten från Israels Gud vilade över dem. 20 Det var samma väsen som jag hade sett under Israels Gud vid floden Kebar, och jag förstod att det var keruber. 21 Var och en hade fyra ansikten och fyra vingar, och under deras vingar var något som liknade människohänder. 22 Deras ansikten var likadana som de ansikten jag hade sett vid floden Kebar. Så såg de ut och sådana var de. De gick alla rakt fram.

10 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
2 And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.
3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
4 Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory.
5 And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
7 And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.
8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.
9 And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.
10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
11 When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.
12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.
13 As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.
14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
16 And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
20 This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.
21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
22 And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.

The Glory Departs from the Temple
10 And I looked, and there in the (A)firmament[a] that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne. 2 (B)Then He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, “Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with (C)coals of fire from among the cherubim, and (D)scatter them over the city.” And he went in as I watched.
3 Now the cherubim were standing on the [b]south side of the [c]temple when the man went in, and the (E)cloud filled the inner court. 4 (F)Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the [d]temple; and (G)the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s (H)glory. 5 And the (I)sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like (J)the voice of Almighty God when He speaks.
6 Then it happened, when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, “Take fire from among the wheels, from among the cherubim,” that he went in and stood beside the wheels. 7 And the cherub stretched out his hand from among the cherubim to the fire that was among the cherubim, and took some of it and put it into the hands of the man clothed with linen, who took it and went out. 8 (K)The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man’s hand under their wings.
9 (L)And when I looked, there were four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub and another wheel by each other cherub; the wheels appeared to have the color of a (M)beryl stone. 10 As for their appearance, all four looked alike—as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 11 (N)When they went, they went toward any of their four directions; they did not turn aside when they went, but followed in the direction the head was facing. They did not turn aside when they went. 12 And their whole body, with their back, their hands, their wings, and the wheels that the four had, were (O)full of eyes all around. 13 As for the wheels, they were called in my [e]hearing, “Wheel.”
14 (P)Each one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, the second face the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. 15 And the cherubim were lifted up. This was (Q)the living creature I saw by the River Chebar. 16 (R)When the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also did not turn from beside them. 17 (S)When [f]the cherubim stood still, the wheels stood still, and when [g]one was lifted up, [h]the other lifted itself up, for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

20 (X)This is the living creature I saw under the God of Israel (Y)by the River Chebar, and I knew they were cherubim. 21 (Z)Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings. 22 And (AA)the likeness of their faces was the same as the faces which I had seen by the River Chebar, their appearance and their persons. (AB)They each went straight forward.
