Трое друзей Данияла в огненной печи
3 Царь Навуходоносор сделал из золота истукан двадцати семи метров в высоту и двух метров семидесяти сантиметров[a] в ширину и поставил его на равнине Дура́, что в провинции Вавилон. 2 Затем он послал собрать сатрапов[b], военачальников, наместников, советников, казначеев, судей, городских старейшин и всех прочих сановников из провинций, чтобы они прибыли на освящение поставленного им истукана. 3 И сатрапы, военачальники, наместники, советники, казначеи, судьи, городские старейшины и все прочие сановники из провинций собрались на освящение истукана, поставленного царём Навуходоносором, и встали перед ним.
4 И глашатай громко воскликнул:
– Вот что приказано вам исполнить, о народы, племена и люди всякого языка: 5 когда вы услышите звуки рога, флейты, цитры, лиры, арфы, свирели и всяких других музыкальных инструментов, падайте на колени и кланяйтесь золотому истукану, которого поставил царь Навуходоносор. 6 Всякий, кто не упадёт на колени и не поклонится, тотчас же будет брошен в огненную печь.
7 И как только все народы, племена и люди всякого языка услышали звуки рога, свирели, цитры, лиры, арфы и других музыкальных инструментов, они упали на колени и поклонились золотому истукану, поставленному царём Навуходоносором.
8 В это время некоторые из астрологов пришли и донесли на иудеев. 9 Они сказали царю Навуходоносору:
– О царь, живи вечно! 10 Ты издал указ, о царь, чтобы всякий, кто услышит звук рога, флейты, цитры, лиры, арфы, свирели и других музыкальных инструментов, упал на колени и поклонился золотому истукану, 11 и чтобы всякого, кто не упадёт на колени и не поклонится, бросили в огненную печь. 12 Но есть иудеи, поставленные тобой над делами провинции Вавилон, – Шадрах, Мисах и Аведнего, – которые не слушают тебя, о царь. Они не служат твоим богам и не поклоняются золотому истукану, которого ты поставил.
13 Страшно разгневавшись, Навуходоносор велел привести Шадраха, Мисаха и Аведнего. Их привели к царю, 14 и Навуходоносор сказал им:
– Шадрах, Мисах и Аведнего, правда ли то, что вы не служите моим богам и не поклоняетесь золотому истукану, которого я поставил? 15 Итак, если вы готовы, услышав звуки рога, флейты, цитры, лиры, арфы, свирели и других музыкальных инструментов, упасть на колени и поклониться истукану, которого я поставил, это хорошо. Но если вы не поклонитесь ему, вас тотчас же бросят в огненную печь. И какой бог сможет тогда избавить вас от моей руки?
16 Шадрах, Мисах и Аведнего ответили царю:
– О Навуходоносор, нам нет нужды защищаться перед тобой в этом деле. 17 Если нас бросят в огненную печь, то Всевышний, Которому мы служим, может спасти нас из неё, и Он избавит нас от твоей руки, о царь. 18 Но даже если и нет, мы хотим, чтобы ты знал, о царь: мы не будем служить твоим богам и поклоняться золотому истукану, которого ты поставил.
19 Тогда Навуходоносор так разозлился на Шадраха, Мисаха и Аведнего, что его лицо исказилось от злости. Он приказал раскалить печь в семь раз жарче, чем обычно, 20 и велел сильнейшим воинам своего войска связать Шадраха, Мисаха и Аведнего и бросить их в огненную печь. 21 Тогда этих мужчин, в их накидках, шароварах и головных повязках – во всей их одежде, связали и бросили в огненную печь. 22 По строгому приказу царя печь была так раскалена, что языки пламени убили воинов, бросавших Шадраха, Мисаха и Аведнего, 23 и те трое – Шадрах, Мисах и Аведнего – упали крепко связанные в огненную печь.
24 Тогда царь Навуходоносор в изумлении вскочил и спросил советников:
– Не троих ли мы связали и бросили в печь?
Они ответили:
– Истинно так, о царь.
25 Он сказал:
– Но я вижу, как в огне ходят четверо, несвязанные и невредимые, и четвёртый похож на божество!
26 Навуходоносор подошёл к отверстию огненной печи и закричал:
– Шадрах, Мисах и Аведнего, рабы Бога Высочайшего, выходите! Идите сюда!
Шадрах, Мисах и Аведнего вышли из огня, 27 а сатрапы, военачальники, наместники и царские советники столпились вокруг них. Они увидели, что огонь не повредил их тела и не опалил ни одного волоса у них на головах; их одежды не обгорели, от них даже не пахло горелым.
28 И Навуходоносор сказал:
– Хвала Богу Шадраха, Мисаха и Аведнего, Который послал Своего ангела и спас Своих рабов! Они верили Ему и нарушили царское повеление, и были готовы скорее проститься с жизнью, чем служить и поклоняться другому богу, кроме своего Бога. 29 Поэтому я повелеваю, чтобы людей всякого народа, племени и языка, которые оскорбят Бога Шадраха, Мисаха и Аведнего, разрубили на куски, а дома их превратили в груды развалин, потому что нет другого Бога, Который мог бы так спасать.
30 И царь дал Шадраху, Мисаху и Аведнего высокие должности в провинции Вавилон.
Второй сон Навуходоносора
31 Царь Навуходоносор всем народам, племенам и людям всякого языка, живущим по всей земле:
Да умножится ваше благополучие!
32 Мне угодно рассказать вам о знамениях и чудесах, которые сотворил со мной Бог Высочайший.
33 Как велики Его знамения,
как сильны Его чудеса!
Царство Его – вечное царство;
владычество Его – из поколения в поколение!

3 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

8 Sin embargo[h] en aquel tiempo algunos caldeos se presentaron(G) y acusaron a[i] los judíos(H). 9 Hablaron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: ¡Oh rey, vive para siempre(I)! 10 Tú, oh rey, has proclamado un decreto de que todo hombre que oiga el sonido del cuerno, la flauta, la lira, el arpa, el salterio, la gaita y toda clase de música, se postre y adore la estatua de oro(J), 11 y el que no se postre y adore, será echado en un horno de fuego ardiente. 12 Pero hay algunos judíos a quienes has puesto sobre la administración de la provincia de Babilonia, es decir, Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego(K), y estos hombres, oh rey, no te hacen caso; no sirven a tus dioses ni adoran la estatua de oro que has levantado.
13 Entonces Nabucodonosor, enojado y furioso, dio orden de traer a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego; estos hombres, pues, fueron conducidos ante el rey(L). 14 Habló Nabucodonosor y les dijo: ¿Es verdad Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego que no servís a mis dioses ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado(M)? 15 ¿Estáis dispuestos ahora, para que cuando oigáis el sonido del cuerno, la flauta, la lira, el arpa, el salterio, la gaita y toda clase de música, os postréis y adoréis la estatua que he hecho(N)? Porque si no la adoráis, inmediatamente[j] seréis echados en un horno de fuego ardiente(O); ¿y qué dios será el que os libre de mis manos(P)? 16 Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego(Q) respondieron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: No necesitamos darte una respuesta acerca de este asunto. 17 Ciertamente nuestro Dios a quien servimos puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiente; y de tu mano, oh rey(R), nos librará(S). 18 Pero si no lo hace, has de saber, oh rey, que no serviremos a tus dioses(T) ni adoraremos la estatua de oro que has levantado(U).

19 Entonces Nabucodonosor se llenó de furor, y demudó su semblante contra Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego(V). Respondió ordenando que se calentara el horno siete veces más de lo que se acostumbraba calentar. 20 Y mandó que algunos valientes guerreros de su ejército ataran a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, y los echaran en el horno de fuego ardiente. 21 Entonces estos hombres fueron atados y arrojados con sus mantos[k], sus túnicas[l], sus gorros y sus otras ropas en el horno de fuego ardiente(W). 22 Como la orden[m] del rey era apremiante[n](X) y el horno había sido calentado excesivamente, la llama del fuego mató a los que habían alzado a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego. 23 Pero estos tres hombres, Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego cayeron, atados, en medio del horno de fuego ardiente(Y).
24 Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se espantó, y levantándose apresuradamente preguntó[o] a sus altos oficiales: ¿No eran tres los hombres que echamos atados en medio del fuego? Ellos respondieron y dijeron al rey: Ciertamente, oh rey. 25 El rey respondió y dijo: ¡Mirad! Veo a cuatro hombres sueltos que se pasean en medio del fuego sin sufrir daño alguno[p](Z), y el aspecto del cuarto es semejante al de un hijo de los dioses. 26 Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó a la puerta del horno de fuego ardiente y[q] dijo: Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, siervos del Dios Altísimo(AA), salid y venid acá. Entonces Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego salieron de en medio del fuego(AB). 27 Y los sátrapas, los prefectos, los gobernadores y los altos oficiales del rey se reunieron(AC) para ver a estos hombres, cómo el fuego no había tenido efecto[r] alguno sobre sus cuerpos, ni el cabello de sus cabezas se había chamuscado, ni sus mantos[s](AD) habían sufrido daño alguno[t], ni aun olor del fuego había quedado en ellos(AE).
28 Habló Nabucodonosor y dijo: Bendito sea el Dios de Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego(AF) que ha enviado a su ángel(AG) y ha librado a sus siervos que, confiando en Él(AH), desobedecieron la orden[u] del rey y entregaron sus cuerpos antes de servir y adorar a ningún otro dios excepto a su Dios(AI). 29 Por tanto, proclamo un decreto de que todo pueblo, nación o lengua que diga blasfemia contra el Dios(AJ) de Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego(AK) sea descuartizado y sus casas reducidas a escombros[v](AL), ya que no hay otro dios que pueda librar de esta manera(AM). 30 Entonces el rey hizo prosperar a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego en la provincia de Babilonia(AN).

2 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 王 差 人 將 總 督 、 欽 差 、 巡 撫 、 臬 司 、 藩 司 、 謀 士 、 法 官 ， 和 各 省 的 官 員 都 召 了 來 ， 為 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 王 所 立 的 像 行 開 光 之 禮 。

10 王 啊 ， 你 曾 降 旨 說 ， 凡 聽 見 角 、 笛 、 琵 琶 、 琴 、 瑟 、 笙 ， 和 各 樣 樂 器 聲 音 的 都 當 俯 伏 敬 拜 金 像 。
11 凡 不 俯 伏 敬 拜 的 ， 必 扔 在 烈 火 的 窯 中 。
12 現 在 有 幾 個 猶 大 人 ， 就 是 王 所 派 管 理 巴 比 倫 省 事 務 的 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 ； 王 啊 ， 這 些 人 不 理 你 ， 不 事 奉 你 的 神 ， 也 不 敬 拜 你 所 立 的 金 像 。

16 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 對 王 說 ： 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 啊 ， 這 件 事 我 們 不 必 回 答 你 ；
17 即 便 如 此 ， 我 們 所 事 奉 的 神 能 將 我 們 從 烈 火 的 窯 中 救 出 來 。 王 啊 ， 他 也 必 救 我 們 脫 離 你 的 手 ；
18 即 或 不 然 ， 王 啊 ， 你 當 知 道 我 們 決 不 事 奉 你 的 神 ， 也 不 敬 拜 你 所 立 的 金 像 。
19 當 時 ， 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 怒 氣 填 胸 ， 向 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 變 了 臉 色 ， 吩 咐 人 把 窯 燒 熱 ， 比 尋 常 更 加 七 倍 ；
20 又 吩 咐 他 軍 中 的 幾 個 壯 士 ， 將 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 捆 起 來 ， 扔 在 烈 火 的 窯 中 。
21 這 三 人 穿 著 褲 子 、 內 袍 、 外 衣 ， 和 別 的 衣 服 ， 被 捆 起 來 扔 在 烈 火 的 窯 中 。
22 因 為 王 命 緊 急 ， 窯 又 甚 熱 ， 那 抬 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 的 人 都 被 火 燄 燒 死 。
23 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 這 三 個 人 都 被 捆 著 落 在 烈 火 的 窯 中 。
24 那 時 ， 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 王 驚 奇 ， 急 忙 起 來 ， 對 謀 士 說 ： 我 捆 起 來 扔 在 火 裡 的 不 是 三 個 人 麼 ？ 他 們 回 答 王 說 ： 王 啊 ， 是 。
25 王 說 ： 看 哪 ， 我 見 有 四 個 人 ， 並 沒 有 捆 綁 ， 在 火 中 遊 行 ， 也 沒 有 受 傷 ； 那 第 四 個 的 相 貌 好 像 神 子 。
26 於 是 ， 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 就 近 烈 火 窯 門 ， 說 ： 至 高 神 的 僕 人 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 出 來 ， 上 這 裡 來 罷 ！ 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 就 從 火 中 出 來 了 。
27 那 些 總 督 、 欽 差 、 巡 撫 ， 和 王 的 謀 士 一 同 聚 集 看 這 三 個 人 ， 見 火 無 力 傷 他 們 的 身 體 ， 頭 髮 也 沒 有 燒 焦 ， 衣 裳 也 沒 有 變 色 ， 並 沒 有 火 燎 的 氣 味 。
28 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 說 ： 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 的 神 是 應 當 稱 頌 的 ！ 他 差 遣 使 者 救 護 倚 靠 他 的 僕 人 ， 他 們 不 遵 王 命 ， 捨 去 己 身 ， 在 他 們 神 以 外 不 肯 事 奉 敬 拜 別 神 。
29 現 在 我 降 旨 ， 無 論 何 方 、 何 國 、 何 族 的 人 ， 謗 讟 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 之 神 的 ， 必 被 凌 遲 ， 他 的 房 屋 必 成 糞 堆 ， 因 為 沒 有 別 神 能 這 樣 施 行 拯 救 。
30 那 時 王 在 巴 比 倫 省 ， 高 升 了 沙 得 拉 、 米 煞 、 亞 伯 尼 歌 。
