10 μετα δε ταυτα ανεδειξεν ο κυριος και ετερους εβδομηκοντα και απεστειλεν αυτους ανα δυο προ προσωπου αυτου εις πασαν πολιν και τοπον ου εμελλεν αυτος ερχεσθαι
2 ελεγεν ουν προς αυτους ο μεν θερισμος πολυς οι δε εργαται ολιγοι δεηθητε ουν του κυριου του θερισμου οπως εκβαλλη εργατας εις τον θερισμον αυτου
3 υπαγετε ιδου εγω αποστελλω υμας ως αρνας εν μεσω λυκων
4 μη βασταζετε βαλαντιον μη πηραν μηδε υποδηματα και μηδενα κατα την οδον ασπασησθε
5 εις ην δ αν οικιαν εισερχησθε πρωτον λεγετε ειρηνη τω οικω τουτω
6 και εαν μεν η εκει υιος ειρηνης επαναπαυσεται επ αυτον η ειρηνη υμων ει δε μηγε εφ υμας ανακαμψει
7 εν αυτη δε τη οικια μενετε εσθιοντες και πινοντες τα παρ αυτων αξιος γαρ ο εργατης του μισθου αυτου εστιν μη μεταβαινετε εξ οικιας εις οικιαν
8 και εις ην δ αν πολιν εισερχησθε και δεχωνται υμας εσθιετε τα παρατιθεμενα υμιν
9 και θεραπευετε τους εν αυτη ασθενεις και λεγετε αυτοις ηγγικεν εφ υμας η βασιλεια του θεου
10 εις ην δ αν πολιν εισερχησθε και μη δεχωνται υμας εξελθοντες εις τας πλατειας αυτης ειπατε
11 και τον κονιορτον τον κολληθεντα ημιν εκ της πολεως υμων απομασσομεθα υμιν πλην τουτο γινωσκετε οτι ηγγικεν εφ υμας η βασιλεια του θεου
12 λεγω δε υμιν οτι σοδομοις εν τη ημερα εκεινη ανεκτοτερον εσται η τη πολει εκεινη
13 ουαι σοι χωραζιν ουαι σοι βηθσαιδα οτι ει εν τυρω και σιδωνι εγενοντο αι δυναμεις αι γενομεναι εν υμιν παλαι αν εν σακκω και σποδω καθημεναι μετενοησαν
14 πλην τυρω και σιδωνι ανεκτοτερον εσται εν τη κρισει η υμιν
15 και συ καπερναουμ η εως του ουρανου υψωθεισα εως αδου καταβιβασθηση
16 ο ακουων υμων εμου ακουει και ο αθετων υμας εμε αθετει ο δε εμε αθετων αθετει τον αποστειλαντα με
17 υπεστρεψαν δε οι εβδομηκοντα μετα χαρας λεγοντες κυριε και τα δαιμονια υποτασσεται ημιν εν τω ονοματι σου
18 ειπεν δε αυτοις εθεωρουν τον σαταναν ως αστραπην εκ του ουρανου πεσοντα
19 ιδου διδωμι υμιν την εξουσιαν του πατειν επανω οφεων και σκορπιων και επι πασαν την δυναμιν του εχθρου και ουδεν υμας ου μη αδικηση
20 πλην εν τουτω μη χαιρετε οτι τα πνευματα υμιν υποτασσεται χαιρετε δε μαλλον οτι τα ονοματα υμων εγραφη εν τοις ουρανοις
21 εν αυτη τη ωρα ηγαλλιασατο τω πνευματι ο ιησους και ειπεν εξομολογουμαι σοι πατερ κυριε του ουρανου και της γης οτι απεκρυψας ταυτα απο σοφων και συνετων και απεκαλυψας αυτα νηπιοις ναι ο πατηρ οτι ουτως εγενετο ευδοκια εμπροσθεν σου
22 και στραφεις προς τους μαθητας ειπεν παντα παρεδοθη μοι υπο του πατρος μου και ουδεις γινωσκει τις εστιν ο υιος ει μη ο πατηρ και τις εστιν ο πατηρ ει μη ο υιος και ω εαν βουληται ο υιος αποκαλυψαι
23 και στραφεις προς τους μαθητας κατ ιδιαν ειπεν μακαριοι οι οφθαλμοι οι βλεποντες α βλεπετε
24 λεγω γαρ υμιν οτι πολλοι προφηται και βασιλεις ηθελησαν ιδειν α υμεις βλεπετε και ουκ ειδον και ακουσαι α ακουετε και ουκ ηκουσαν
25 και ιδου νομικος τις ανεστη εκπειραζων αυτον και λεγων διδασκαλε τι ποιησας ζωην αιωνιον κληρονομησω
26 ο δε ειπεν προς αυτον εν τω νομω τι γεγραπται πως αναγινωσκεις
27 ο δε αποκριθεις ειπεν αγαπησεις κυριον τον θεον σου εξ ολης της καρδιας σου και εξ ολης της ψυχης σου και εξ ολης της ισχυος σου και εξ ολης της διανοιας σου και τον πλησιον σου ως σεαυτον
28 ειπεν δε αυτω ορθως απεκριθης τουτο ποιει και ζηση
29 ο δε θελων δικαιουν εαυτον ειπεν προς τον ιησουν και τις εστιν μου πλησιον
30 υπολαβων δε ο ιησους ειπεν ανθρωπος τις κατεβαινεν απο ιερουσαλημ εις ιεριχω και λησταις περιεπεσεν οι και εκδυσαντες αυτον και πληγας επιθεντες απηλθον αφεντες ημιθανη τυγχανοντα
31 κατα συγκυριαν δε ιερευς τις κατεβαινεν εν τη οδω εκεινη και ιδων αυτον αντιπαρηλθεν
32 ομοιως δε και λευιτης γενομενος κατα τον τοπον ελθων και ιδων αντιπαρηλθεν
33 σαμαρειτης δε τις οδευων ηλθεν κατ αυτον και ιδων αυτον εσπλαγχνισθη
34 και προσελθων κατεδησεν τα τραυματα αυτου επιχεων ελαιον και οινον επιβιβασας δε αυτον επι το ιδιον κτηνος ηγαγεν αυτον εις πανδοχειον και επεμεληθη αυτου
35 και επι την αυριον εξελθων εκβαλων δυο δηναρια εδωκεν τω πανδοχει και ειπεν αυτω επιμεληθητι αυτου και ο τι αν προσδαπανησης εγω εν τω επανερχεσθαι με αποδωσω σοι
36 τις ουν τουτων των τριων δοκει σοι πλησιον γεγονεναι του εμπεσοντος εις τους ληστας
37 ο δε ειπεν ο ποιησας το ελεος μετ αυτου ειπεν ουν αυτω ο ιησους πορευου και συ ποιει ομοιως
38 εγενετο δε εν τω πορευεσθαι αυτους και αυτος εισηλθεν εις κωμην τινα γυνη δε τις ονοματι μαρθα υπεδεξατο αυτον εις τον οικον αυτης
39 και τηδε ην αδελφη καλουμενη μαρια η και παρακαθισασα παρα τους ποδας του ιησου ηκουεν τον λογον αυτου
40 η δε μαρθα περιεσπατο περι πολλην διακονιαν επιστασα δε ειπεν κυριε ου μελει σοι οτι η αδελφη μου μονην με κατελιπεν διακονειν ειπε ουν αυτη ινα μοι συναντιλαβηται
41 αποκριθεις δε ειπεν αυτη ο ιησους μαρθα μαρθα μεριμνας και τυρβαζη περι πολλα
42 ενος δε εστιν χρεια μαρια δε την αγαθην μεριδα εξελεξατο ητις ουκ αφαιρεθησεται απ αυτης

10 После этого Господь назначил еще семьдесят[a] учеников и послал их по два впереди Себя в каждый из городов и в каждое место, куда Он Сам собирался прийти. 2 Он сказал им:
– Жатвы много, а работников мало. Поэтому просите Хозяина жатвы, чтобы Он выслал работников на Свою жатву.
3 Идите! Вот, Я посылаю вас, как ягнят в волчью стаю. 4 Не берите с собой ни кошелька, ни сумки, ни сандалий и по дороге никого не приветствуйте. 5 Когда вы войдете в дом, скажите вначале: «Мир этому дому». 6 Если в том доме живет человек мира[b], то ваш мир будет на нем, если же нет, то он вернется к вам. 7 Оставайтесь в этом доме, ешьте и пейте то, что вам дадут, потому что работник заслуживает вознаграждения. Не переходите из дома в дом.
8 Если вы войдете в город и вас там примут, то ешьте все, что вам предложат, 9 исцеляйте их больных, которые там есть, и говорите им: «Царство Божье уже близко к вам». 10 А если вы войдете в какой-либо город и там вас не примут, то идите по улицам этого города и говорите: 11 «Даже пыль вашего города, что пристала к нашим ногам, мы отряхиваем на вас, но все же знайте: Царство Божье уже близко!» 12 Говорю вам, что в тот День Содому[c] будет легче, чем этому городу.
13 Горе тебе, Хоразин! Горе тебе, Вифсаида! Ведь если бы в Тире и Сидоне были совершены те же чудеса, что в вас, то они бы давно раскаялись, одевшись в рубище и сидя в пепле. 14 Но Тиру и Сидону будет легче на Суде, чем вам. 15 И ты, Капернаум, думаешь, что будешь вознесен до небес? Нет, ты будешь сброшен в ад.
16 Потом Он сказал ученикам:
– Кто слушает вас, слушает Меня, и кто отвергает вас, тот отвергает Меня; а кто отвергает Меня, отвергает Пославшего Меня.

17 Семьдесят учеников возвратились к Иисусу радостные:
– Господи, – говорили они, – даже демоны подчиняются нам, когда мы приказываем им Твоим именем!
18 Иисус ответил:
– Я видел, как сатана упал с неба, словно молния! 19 Вот, Я дал вам власть наступать без вреда для вас на змей и скорпионов и преодолевать всю силу врага. 20 Но радуйтесь не тому, что духи вам подчиняются, а тому, что ваши имена записаны на небесах.
21 Тут Иисус возликовал в Святом Духе и сказал:
– Я славлю Тебя, Отец, Господь неба и земли, за то, что Ты, утаив от мудрецов и ученых, открыл это младенцам. Да, Отец, это было угодно Тебе! 22 Отец вверил Мне все. Никто не знает, кто есть Сын, кроме Отца, и никто не знает, кто есть Отец, кроме Сына и того, кого Сын избирает, чтобы открыть ему Отца.
23 Потом Он повернулся к Своим ученикам и сказал так, чтобы слышали только они:

По дороге на него напали разбойники, которые раздели его, избили до полусмерти и ушли. 31 Случайно по той же дороге проходил священник и, увидев этого человека, прошел мимо по другой стороне дороги. 32 Так же поступил и левит: дойдя до этого места и увидев пострадавшего, он обошел его стороной. 33 Но вот к тому месту, где он лежал, подошел проезжавший мимо самарянин[f]. Он увидел беднягу и сжалился над ним. 34 Он подошел и перевязал его раны, промыв их маслом и вином. The Seventy Sent Out
10 After these things the Lord appointed [a]seventy others also, and (A)sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. 2 Then He said to them, (B)“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore (C)pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. 3 Go your way; (D)behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. 4 (E)Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and (F)greet no one along the road. 5 (G)But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you. 7 (H)And remain in the same house, (I)eating and drinking such things as they give, for (J)the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8 Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. 9 (K)And heal the sick there, and say to them, (L)‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10 But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11 (M)‘The very dust of your city which clings to [b]us we wipe off against you. Woe to the Impenitent Cities(O)
13 (P)“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! (Q)For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 (R)And you, Capernaum, [d]who are (S)exalted to heaven, (T)will be brought down to Hades. 16 (U)He who hears you hears Me, (V)he who rejects you rejects Me, and (W)he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”
The Seventy Return with Joy
17 Then (X)the [e]seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
18 And He said to them, (Y)“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, (Z)I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but [f]rather rejoice because (AA)your names are written in heaven.”
Jesus Rejoices in the Spirit(AB)
21 (AC)In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 22 (AD)All[g] things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and (AE)no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”
23 Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, (AF)“Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; 24 for I tell you (AG)that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.”
The Parable of the Good Samaritan(AH)
25 And behold, a certain [h]lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, (AI)“Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”
27 So he answered and said, (AJ)“ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and (AK)‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and (AL)you will live.”
29 But he, wanting to (AM)justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among [i]thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, (AN)he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain (AO)Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. Mary and Martha Worship and Serve
38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named (AS)Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, (AT)who also (AU)sat at [k]Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
41 And [l]Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But (AV)one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
