O altar para os sacrifícios

27 —Faça um altar de madeira de acácia. O altar deve ser quadrado, com dois metros e vinte cinco centímetros de cada lado por um metro e trinta e cinco centímetros de altura. Em cada um dos seus quatro cantos, faça uma ponta em forma de chifre, que forme uma só peça com o altar. O altar deverá ser revestido de bronze.

—Faça de bronze todos os utensílios e as ferramentas que vão ser utilizadas no altar: recipientes para recolher as cinzas, pás, bacias, garfos para a carne e braseiros. Faça também uma grelha de bronze em forma de rede e coloque uma argola de bronze em cada um dos cantos da grelha. Depois coloque-a abaixo da beirada do altar, de maneira que a rede chegue até o meio do altar.

—Faça varas de madeira de acácia para o altar, as quais deverão ser revestidas de bronze. Coloque as varas nas argolas, nos dois lados do altar. Essas varas são para transportar o altar. O altar deve ser oco e de madeira. Faça conforme foi lhe mostrado no monte.

O pátio

—Faça um pátio para a Tenda Sagrada. No lado sul, o pátio terá uma parede feita de cortinas com quarenta e cinco metros de comprimento. As cortinas serão feitas de linho fino. 10 E serão sustentadas por vinte colunas colocadas em vinte bases de bronze. Os ganchos das colunas e os anéis serão de prata. 11 No lado norte, também haverá uma parede de cortinas de quarenta e cinco metros de comprimento, com vinte colunas e vinte bases de bronze. Os ganchos das colunas e os anéis serão de prata.

12 —No lado oeste haverá uma parede de cortinas de vinte e dois metros, com dez colunas e dez bases. 13 O lado leste, que está virado para o nascer do sol, também medirá vinte e dois metros e meio de largura. 14 Neste lado ficará a entrada do pátio. Um dos lados da entrada terá cortinas de seis metros e sessenta centímetros de comprimento, três colunas e três bases. 15 O outro lado também terá cortinas de seis metros e sessenta centímetros de comprimento, três colunas e três bases.

16 —Faça uma cortina de nove metros de comprimento para cobrir a entrada do pátio, de linho fino e fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho e enfeitada com bordados. Essa cortina terá quatro colunas e quatro bases. 17 Todas as colunas ao redor do pátio terão argolas e ganchos de prata e bases de bronze. 18 O pátio medirá quarenta e cinco metros de comprimento, vinte e dois metros e meio de largura, e dois metros e vinte cinco centímetros de altura. As cortinas serão de linho fino e as bases de bronze. 19 Serão de bronze todos os utensílios usados nas cerimônias da Tenda Sagrada, e também as estacas da Tenda Sagrada e as estacas do pátio.

O azeite do candelabro

20 —Ordene aos israelitas que lhe tragam o mais puro azeite de oliveira e que mantenham o candelabro aceso toda a noite com este azeite. 21 Aarão e os seus filhos ficarão encarregados de manter as lâmpadas acesas diante do SENHOR todos os dias, do entardecer até o amanhecer. O candelabro deverá ser colocado na Tenda de Encontro, do lado de fora da cortina que está junto à arca da aliança. O povo de Israel e os seus descendentes deverão obedecer a esta ordem para sempre.

The Altar of Burnt Offering(A)

27 “You shall make (B)an altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide—the altar shall be square—and its height shall be three cubits. You shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it. And you shall overlay it with bronze. Also you shall make its pans to receive its ashes, and its shovels and its basins and its forks and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze. You shall make a grate for it, a network of bronze; and on the network you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners. You shall put it under the rim of the altar beneath, that the network may be midway up the altar. And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. The poles shall be put in the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar to bear it. You shall make it hollow with boards; (C)as it was shown you on the mountain, so shall they make it.

The Court of the Tabernacle(D)

(E)“You shall also make the court of the tabernacle. For the south side there shall be hangings for the court made of fine woven linen, one hundred cubits long for one side. 10 And its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets shall be bronze. The hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be silver. 11 Likewise along the length of the north side there shall be hangings one hundred cubits long, with its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of bronze, and the hooks of the pillars and their bands of silver.

12 “And along the width of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits, with their ten pillars and their ten sockets. 13 The width of the court on the east side shall be fifty cubits. 14 The hangings on one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and their three sockets. 15 And on the other side shall be hangings of fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and their three sockets.

16 “For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. It shall have four pillars and four sockets. 17 All the pillars around the court shall have bands of silver; their (F)hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of bronze. 18 The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made of fine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze. 19 All the utensils of the tabernacle for all its service, all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.

The Care of the Lampstand(G)

20 “And (H)you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to [a]burn continually. 21 In the tabernacle of meeting, (I)outside the veil which is before the Testimony, (J)Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. (K)It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

Make horns for it on its four corners; they shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze.

You shall make pots to take away its ashes, and shovels, basins, forks, and firepans; make all its utensils of bronze.

10 Their pillars shall be twenty and their sockets twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their joinings shall be of silver;

11 Likewise for the north side hangings, a hundred cubits long, and their twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their joinings shall be of silver.

12 And for the breadth of the court on the west side there shall be hangings of fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten sockets.

13 The breadth of the court to the front, the east side, shall be fifty cubits.

14 The hangings for one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three sockets.

15 On the other side the hangings shall be fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three sockets.

16 And for the gate of the court there shall be a hanging [for a screen] twenty cubits long, of blue, purple, and scarlet [stuff] and fine twined linen, embroidered. It shall have four pillars and four sockets for them.

17 All the pillars round about the court shall be joined together with silver rods; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of bronze.

18 The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits and the breadth fifty and the height five cubits, [with hangings of] fine twined linen and sockets of bronze.

19 All the tabernacle’s utensils and instruments used in all its service, and all its pegs and all the pegs for the court, shall be of bronze.

20 You shall command the Israelites to provide you with pure oil of crushed olives for the light, to cause it to burn continually [every night].

21 In the Tent of Meeting [of God with His people], outside the veil which sets apart the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it burning from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute to be observed on behalf of the Israelites throughout their generations.
