Instrucciones para el día de descanso
35 Luego Moisés mandó llamar a toda la comunidad de Israel y dijo: «Estas son las instrucciones que el Señor ha ordenado que obedezcan: 2 tienen seis días en la semana para hacer su trabajo habitual, pero el séptimo será un día de descanso absoluto, un día santo, dedicado al Señor. Cualquiera que trabaje ese día será ejecutado. 3 Ni siquiera encenderán fuego en sus casas en el día de descanso».
Ofrendas para el tabernáculo
4 Luego Moisés le dijo a toda la comunidad de Israel: «Esto es lo que el Señor ha ordenado: 5 junten una ofrenda sagrada para el Señor. Que todas las personas de corazón generoso presenten al Señor las siguientes ofrendas:
oro, plata y bronce;
6 hilo azul, púrpura y escarlata;
lino fino y pelo de cabra para tela;
7 pieles de carnero curtidas y cuero de cabra de la mejor calidad;
madera de acacia;
8 aceite de oliva para las lámparas;
especias para el aceite de la unción y para el incienso aromático;
9 piedras de ónice y otras piedras preciosas para incrustar en el efod y en el pectoral del sacerdote.
10 »Vengan, todos los que sean hábiles artesanos y construyan todo lo que el Señor ha ordenado:
11 el tabernáculo y la carpa sagrada, la cubierta, los broches, los soportes, los travesaños, los postes y las bases;
12 el arca y las varas para transportarla;
la tapa del arca: el lugar de la expiación;
la cortina interior que protege el arca;
13 la mesa, con las varas para transportarla, y todos sus utensilios;
el pan de la Presencia;
14 para el alumbrado: el candelabro, sus accesorios, las copas para las lámparas y el aceite de oliva para la iluminación;
15 el altar del incienso y las varas para transportarlo;
el aceite de la unción y el incienso aromático;
la cortina para la entrada del tabernáculo;
16 el altar de las ofrendas quemadas, la rejilla de bronce del altar, las varas para transportarlo y sus utensilios;
el lavamanos con su base;
17 las cortinas para las paredes del atrio;
los postes y sus bases;
la cortina para la entrada del atrio;
18 las estacas para el tabernáculo y el atrio, y sus cuerdas;
19 las vestiduras finamente confeccionadas para los sacerdotes, las cuales usarán mientras sirvan en el Lugar Santo: las vestiduras sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón y las vestiduras que sus hijos llevarán puestas cuando ministren como sacerdotes».
20 Entonces, toda la comunidad de Israel se despidió de Moisés, y cada cual regresó a su carpa. 21 Todos aquellos con el corazón motivado y el espíritu conmovido regresaron con ofrendas sagradas al Señor. Trajeron todos los materiales que se necesitaban para levantar el tabernáculo,[a] para realizar las ceremonias y para confeccionar las vestiduras sagradas. 22 Vinieron todos los que tenían el corazón dispuesto, tanto hombres como mujeres, y trajeron al Señor sus ofrendas de oro: broches, aretes, anillos y collares. Presentaron toda clase de objetos de oro como una ofrenda especial para el Señor. 23 Todos los que poseían hilo azul, púrpura y escarlata; lino fino y pelo de cabra para tela; pieles de carnero curtidas y cuero de cabra de la mejor calidad, los traían voluntariamente. 24 Además, todos los que tenían objetos de plata o de bronce los entregaron como una ofrenda sagrada al Señor, y quienes tenían madera de acacia la dispusieron para que se usara en el proyecto.
25 Todas las mujeres que tenían habilidades para la costura y el tejido prepararon hilo azul, púrpura y escarlata, y tela de lino fino, y los entregaron. 26 Todas las mujeres de buena voluntad pusieron en práctica su habilidad para hilar el pelo de cabra. 27 Los líderes entregaron piedras de ónice y otras piedras preciosas para incrustarlas en el efod y en el pectoral del sacerdote. 28 También contribuyeron con especias y aceite de oliva para el alumbrado, el aceite de la unción y el incienso aromático. 29 Así, todos los del pueblo de Israel—cada hombre y cada mujer con deseos de colaborar en la obra que el Señor les había dado por medio de Moisés—presentaron sus ofrendas con generosidad al Señor.
30 Luego Moisés dijo al pueblo de Israel: «El Señor ha escogido específicamente a Bezalel, el hijo de Uri y nieto de Hur, de la tribu de Judá. 31 El Señor llenó a Bezalel del Espíritu de Dios, y le dio gran sabiduría, capacidad y destreza en toda clase de artes manuales y oficios. 32 Él es un maestro artesano, experto en trabajar el oro, la plata y el bronce. 33 Es hábil en grabar, en incrustar piedras preciosas y en tallar madera. ¡Es un maestro en todo trabajo artístico! 34 El Señor les ha dado tanto a él como a Aholiab, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan, la capacidad de enseñar a otros sus habilidades técnicas. 35 El Señor los ha dotado de un talento especial en el arte de grabar, de diseñar, de tejer y bordar en hilo azul, púrpura y escarlata de lino fino. Ellos se destacan como artesanos y diseñadores.

Sabbath Regulations
35 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the Lord has commanded(A) you to do: 2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a day of sabbath(B) rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it is to be put to death.(C) 3 Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.(D)”

4 Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: 5 From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze; 6 blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; 7 ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather[a]; acacia wood; 8 olive oil(G) for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 9 and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.
10 “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded:(H) 11 the tabernacle(I) with its tent and its covering, clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases; 12 the ark(J) with its poles and the atonement cover and the curtain(K) that shields it; 13 the table(L) with its poles and all its articles and the bread of the Presence; 14 the lampstand(M) that is for light with its accessories, lamps and oil for the light; 15 the altar(N) of incense with its poles, the anointing oil(O) and the fragrant incense;(P) the curtain for the doorway at the entrance to the tabernacle;(Q) 16 the altar(R) of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils; the bronze basin(S) with its stand; 17 the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard;(T) 18 the tent pegs(U) for the tabernacle and for the courtyard, and their ropes; 19 the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary—both the sacred garments(V) for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests.”
20 Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses’ presence, 21 and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. 22 All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the Lord. 23 Everyone who had blue, purple or scarlet yarn(W) or fine linen, or goat hair, ram skins dyed red or the other durable leather brought them. 24 Those presenting an offering of silver or bronze brought it as an offering to the Lord, and everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work brought it. 25 Every skilled woman(X) spun with her hands and brought what she had spun—blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen. 26 And all the women who were willing and had the skill spun the goat hair. 27 The leaders(Y) brought onyx stones and other gems(Z) to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece. 28 They also brought spices and olive oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.(AA) 29 All the Israelite men and women who were willing(AB) brought to the Lord freewill offerings(AC) for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.
Bezalel and Oholiab(AD)
30 Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills(AE)— 32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 33 to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. 34 And he has given both him and Oholiab(AF) son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach(AG) others. 35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work(AH) as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.
